Very cool. You have The only type of bed that should in any camper van, one that disappears, and you are not constantly faffing about with cushions and bed linen .
Another good option for AC would be the "Backpack Mini-Split". They are made for trucks/rvs, run on DC power (12-24v usually), and use car refrigerant so no special licensing required. Started to see them on a few builds on YT and they look pretty cool. I love the sleeper look of this build and the simple modern interior.
There is no reason to mess with subpar DC stuff when residential splits are cheap, a known quantity, and more efficient. If you have the space to hang the outdoor unit don't mess with the DC stuff. My reference is we have a 12VDC split unit with heat pump. The ONLY reason I went that route is because I couldn't get a residential split unit to work on my van.
NIce build, amazing use of tech. My one concern would be the windows, dead giveaway someone is livin in the box. It would be cool if you could design stealthy way to conceal the windows.
Saw another box truck build that only had a skylight but when back was opened up to make the deck there was a full length and height sliding glass door so it was light an actual patio 👍🏻
Nice build. I also live in a converted box truck. It’s 14 feet. Nobody even bats an eye. I have 600 watts of solar, and 250ah of batteries a stove, and freezer on a temperature control module. Sink, shower, a garage, and slide/ Murphy bed. Best decision I ever made.
This is a great job. There are only two questionable choices related to pulling off the stealth effect. One, the rear window is a giveaway. You should have used a micro camera on the outside and a video screen on the inside. Second, the AC unit is awkward and a bit of a giveaway. A roof-mounted unit would not be visible from almost any angle.
Outstanding I've watched many (and I mean many) stelth campers, bus builds , and almost anything else you can imagine and this ranks in the top 5 if not #1 of builds. Well done I am awe struck it is gorgeous inside and very stelth like outside, job well done.
Probably one of the best set ups I have seen. The only thing I don't like is when the bed is fully down, then the projector cant project, so you can't lay in bed and watch TV. But hey, I still give this 5 stars
@@noxious456 Less envy on my part, more like it'd be nice if the uploader said upfront this was a business-venture. I prefer seeing people's DIY stuff, which this is clearly not.
Dealing with black water is tedious enough for the short term camping trip. Can you imagine having to *constantly* worry about your septic system needing to be serviced, and not having a capable offloading site (campground) available anywhere nearby? Plus, this is now essentially a moving truck with enough weight inside to be considered fully loaded, and 83 gallons of water is bad enough without adding another 30-some gallon black tank to the mix. Pretty sure this is why most "stealth campers" just get a Planet Fitness membership.
@@weaselsworldSaw a build with 50 gal black water tank like any RV. Had clean out access too. Toilet was built inside the shower so bonus was the shower head could be used as a bidet.
Looks awesome by my question is hiw heavy it us? Where i live there are different driving licence categories with weight limits plus specific cars/vans have legal limits too... All that looks extremely heavy
As others have said, that's REALLY sharp looking! You were serious that a lot of long learned skills went into making this. It shows. I'm not in the market to become a stealth mobile-life person but if I were something like this would fit the bill.
thanks alot for inspiration. I've been thinking alot desing of my dream box truck type home in my head and this was best so far. very close what I've been thinking
This is like 95% my personal wet dream. I also want to live in an RV, having my home wherever I device to. As somebody, who existence is all about digital creativity, my most important thing I'd need to have in this is a good desk/computer work area. This is so important, it could well be half of the truck. If I had such a thing, 3 main activities would be happening: Driving, cycling, computerwork. So I need good storage for a bike and the mentioned computer space, other than that, I have little desire. Like I don't need a real kitchen. The computer space would need to be as comfy as possible, potientially having a large window right in front of me, somewhere where the screen(s) wouldn't be obscuring it. I'd also want to have it being an unassuming vehicle. Maybe an old beater, that gets fully reworked under the hood to be reliable. I don't get the mentality of people settling down in a space and staying at the very same spot for their entire life. I need change. I hate moving, but every few years, I can't stand going back to the same place every day. If I could take me home with me everywhere I go, it is the actual dream. And it can still come true.
Wow I've been saying that a lot looking at the video. I has just about everything I need. It's Beautiful and it feels like a home! Too me anyway. Don't know what the Price is I've seen smaller builds that cost More and besides that the build From the bottom up! Hello if people think the price is too high then they're high!! The installation and everything else. I don't believe I've seen too many other builds! Beautiful Job. If I had the Money I would have it for my Home 💗💗💗💗. Have a great day
Did you create a better vapor barrier on the walls by sealing every little gap? Even a little bit of moisture that gets into those walls will cause condensation. You won't notice it until the damage is obvious.
Been thinking of one of these since I travel and make films - This would mean I wouldn't need a hotel anywhere and have a place for my work. Thank you for the idea Very much! I am though trying to figure out how you got the box and the cab to be as one since usually they are separate pieces!
it's not so much these people making YT content (which probably most of the upper-quality ones are bullshit anyway) from professional projects the law cares about, it's about the nuisance stealth campers that live like pigs, makes a mess, gets in people's way, trespass, steal utilities, etc., they're trying to keep a handle on. but, they have to apply the law evenly, or in theory try to. these guys probably aren't fooling many, if any, real cops, but as long as you don't make it obvious and move along the next day, i suspect they just look the other way.

Amazing use of space, especially liked the drop-down bed. For me bigger holding tank would be a plus.

Gorgeous. Maybe even perfect. The stealth is next level.

You should've wrapped the back window with a yellow vinyl warp so the window is less noticeable and more stealth
