I currently fly a now aging homebuilt 84" pusher delta but looking at the stability and endurance of this platform it's something I'm going to look into for sure. A pair of vape cells is sure a lot easier to handle than 3x6000mAh pouch cells, especially when it comes to areas that require multiple flights. I've got $300 worth of battery onboard, he has at most $20 and is getting longer flight times!

    • @MrJdsenior
      @MrJdsenior 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They are more than just ground effect machines, they are also excellent dynamic soarers. That is why you can watch them go from the limit of your vision, across in front of you, and out to the other side limits of vision never flapping a single wing. Look up dynamic slope soaring if you want to see the effect on a large scale. Gliders doing 400 mph. Not kidding.

    I have flown the heck out of mine up at Snoqualmie. My numbers were not too different from what you experienced at Shasta. Pretty cool for a tiny foam plane.
    I think the best part about the Nano Goblin is that it’s dead silent. It significantly reduces the complaints you get. In fact most of the conversations I have are people wondering what I’m doing because they can’t figure out where the plane is.
