The skins cast is an odd choice. It's fairly normal that such a big cast of young actors won't all carry on acting or all be in leading roles in high profile roles.

However, like anyone who didn't quite make it to the top, reality television beckoned and she appeared in the last Channel 5 Celebrity Big Brother that hardly anyone watched. The local paper seemed to feature Roxy droning on for a few weeks about how awful the housemates were to her until a lack of interest saw stories about her pulled.
The Schofield scandal is so recent that we can't really tell where he or the show are headed in terms of legacy, and WatchMojo UK says as much every time, and yet keep including him on these lists as if willing this perceived future onto him.

There have probably been tons of child/youth actors who decided to bin off the acting. That's not the same as having a "dead" career. People get older and want to do different things.
