@@TheBooshBabe As someone who lives in the area - North Wales can get quite cold at certain times of the year, especially as we're on the coast so ALL those sea breezes are hitting us too. x.x;
I went to Pendarren in year 6 and even in the bedroom, the Annexe, it was cold.
The rat issue was ridiculous. Instead of eating a caged animal they ate a happy free range one.
Strawberrygate caused such an outrage and honestly the reaction was literally so pathetic
I’m sure you’d react the same way if you found out you camp ‘mates’ were selfishly eating your hard earned treat after only eating bland food for weeks

This show was always my guilty pleasure as a kid. I was always enthralled by seeing these celebrities being thrown into various Bush tucker trials, and the feuds and friendships they formed!

Tbh, I don't care that they had heaters in the castle.
The contestants are paid to be on a show to entertain people at home, not to get illnesses like hypothermia because its freezing temperatures. The people complaining about the heaters 'scandal' are those who wouldn't last an hour outside in the cold in November/December.

So they are fine with them killing and injuring countless creatures and give them already dead meat but they catch and kill a rat then cook it instead of waste it and people are outraged? Where do you think your meat comes from? I bet most of it doesn’t have a better life than that wild rat.

Helen Flanagan was the worst, absolutely useless.
This comment section misses completely, it’s a very entertaining show to watch there’s a while load of group dynamics to observe and it’s just entertainment. People getting pressed that people watch it cause they “can’t comprehend” other shows clearly don’t understand how entertainment works.
In reference to the multiple fainting she new what she was getting into and as the public we like drama but what she didn’t think of was that she was being selfish because not doing a trail meant it was rice and beans. If you faint that many times just leave the jungle

In Australia I live 20 minutes away and it is not really a jungle just a overgrown farm. It is near the largest theme parks in Australia. They also stay in one of the most expensive hotels. It is all a big scam

In Queensland? Still all the wildlife to contend with. I don't even go out to the back garden at night. A QLD overgrown farm is surely significantly more risky than a UK one.

So the RSPCA gets pissy over Gino killing ONE rat. But turn a blind eye to the amount of animals that will be killed by getting squashed, injured, eaten live, used at bait, bred for entertainment purposes? Hypocritical much?

It's comfort trash. That's what a lot of these shows are. Yeah it's trash TV but it's a predictable structure so it's comforting. You know what you're getting. Sometimes people don't wanna use their brains. We just wanna sit back with a brew and just let the show do all the work for us and not think about anything for an hour or so.

You missed the most glaring disaster of all. The fact that the show was ever made in the first place.
The promo for this event is one of the most DISGUSTING ads we have never seen on Australian TV.
You keep showing it on your TV Channels frequently and as soon as we can we switch channel. It is absolutely irritating and of poor taste.
The song made us hate Steve Irwin's son. WHY? Why torment us with such a stupid ad with a disgusting and irritating song? WHY?
