i don't have a cnc machine or anything like that myself, but i'm thinking of buying one. And while watching your video, I wondered whether the shape you have couldn't simply be filled with epoxy or something similar. That would be a good thing for some kind of mass production :D
Have you tried it with different types of woods? Of different thicknesses to see if it can cut through them. Can you use any type of plywood or do you have to get materials from the company that makes it?
but if you set it at 70-80 % power for the run, then you just aswell go with the 40W model as 80% of 60w is 48.....and save some money. Also 60 w cuts with 0.6 mm... and 40 w cuts with 0.4 mm..and 20 cuts with 0.2 mm or 200 microns 60 w you need for thick wood... but the size of the enclosure do not point in the direction of working with big and thick pieces of wood.
Nice laser! I waiting for them to come out with V2, which hopefully have a powered z-axis for the ability of lowering the z-axis per pass for a super clean cut.
Why not to try iKier K1 Pro Max Combo: 48W/24W which already have that function + autofocus and expandable as an option bed to 750mm + it have enclosure, and touch screen👌🏻 the dot size is also pretty small
@@PacificPinesRanch yes they are I’m still learning but I love ordering a new one tomorrow the one I have right now is only a 5 W so I don’t do too much lol
Very neat, maybe for the patio you should sho sugi ban the unblackened sides so they'll be protected from your moist weather vs a clear finish ? Guessing you'' be stepping up to a bigger robot from CREALITY to do furniture and other household items ? Coming out of etcher in black finishes really complements the containers finish too ! I like the crafty videos as a break from build videos...
Thank you!! I appreciate all of your comments and suggestions! Getting into decorating the house will be an entirely new level of creative projects.. :)
Oh hi mom your home early. Look what I made you, your very own Iron Maiden diningroom table from that family heirloom with the bands logo as you can see. I was gonna surprise you later on on mothers day, but you came home too early and there it is, I love you mom and thankyou for getting me this fun new laser setup!! Here mom, check out the cool Beatles coffee table in the den next!
Nice review BUT. The step focus block gives the engraving distance at 7mm which means that, that is the best focus distance from shroud to material, (engraving is surface only). So even setting the shroud on the surface of the wood, you can still only focus 7mm in to the wood (fixed focus), then you're progressively going out of focus from that point on. So 1.5inches is 38.1mm, that is one helluva out of focus cut. Creality know this and still pump out this rubbish to make sales. Also, the higher the power used, the larger the spot size (focussed laser width), so far less chance of doing any intricate cutting.
$2600 is way too much for a diode laser. I can make everything you did with a $1500-$1800 30-watt unit and for that money pick up a refurbished CO2 unit
birthday blessings to your mother 💕
Thank you so much!!! :)

That is one pretty amasing piece of technoledgy wow.
It's a great machine!
60w laser what a beast😮
Yes it is!!

Well, those are so beautiful. Good job. I’m looking to buy a new laser. I was looking at the 22 what I don’t know.
Thank you so much!! The lasers are really fun and you can do a lot with them :)

Get a small lazy Suszan or make one for small project spraying, that way you could sit still and move what your painting/spraying
That's a great idea! Thx :)

I think it would be really cool to burn two teacup thingies, and then paint them. Different colors. Add a third dimension. What can you imagine?
Love that idea!! Thx for the suggestions :)
👍👍👍
Thank you!!!
Nice looking, but all kinds wooden candle holders are fire hazard, so i would only use led candles on them.
Thank you!! Yes that's true. We only have LED candles so it's no issue.
but we only need cut 5mm acrylic MAX lol

Pretty guttsy; Painting anything inblack genes! RenoRoger
Lol they are my "working pants" so it's okay if they get messy. Part of life on the ranch! :)
The wood on the second light looks burned, way too much power or too slow.
I will work on that!
You look at the selfie screen too much. You would connect with your audience better if you looked at the camera. Great overview of this machine.
Thank you!! It's challenging because I need to be sure I am in the frame, which is why I have to check the selfie screen.
@@PacificPinesRanch I get it and sorry if I seemed rude.
You are so beautiful but please look directly into the camera! RenoRoger
