Excellent video. Loved your level of detail, the topics you chose to focus on, and the way you explained everything. I am awaiting the arrival of my very first laser, the Creality Falcon 12W. I will be back here when I am doing my setup. Look forward to learning more from your channel.
Awesome video! Now I finally have something to go on since this laser package didn't come with a Engrave/Cut Library like my 5w version that I upgraded from did. Appreciate the hard work you put into this!
Fantastic testing and review, dude! Thanks a bunch! 😃 And they also have a 40w version... I wonder if you could buy this version and then upgrade the laser module. Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
No idea if you can upgrade the laser module, at least not if it would be easy. I’d probably rather have the 40 watt, but Creality gave me this one and I’m not going to complain.
I have the 40w version, they also just came out with a 60w from what I can tell it looks like it would be able to physically just swap the heads out the plugs all look the same but idk what would have to be done with the firmware to make it all work that’s where it goes over my head but even with the 40w I haven’t found anything it won’t cut. But the 60w would be nice just to speed up my cut times
I believe you made a mistake at 3:05. The height adjustment goes into the enclosure from the back (you can see the cut out section in the back at video mark 3:09)-it fits between the edge sides-and the measurement should be to the laser tip itself, not to the edge of the surround, which is at a different height.
All info - no fluff. Other TH-camrs need to follow your method. Thanks for this. I have a Falcon2 on the way and this answered a lot of questions!
Awesome thanks I learned from you today, looking forward to get my own Falcon Pro 2

I bought a Falcon2 40W and have been learning its ins and outs. You explain different actions well, and I appreciate that. Thanks!

Thanks for the video, the reset following a lens clean caught me out as well 🙂
Thank you for a very informative video. I am getting mine soon. 😀 I look forward to more videos like this.

Very informative. Saw your project on Facebook. Looks perfect.
Thanks this is so helpful, I’m a beginner to laser and light burn. I’m going to try working directly from my computer verses the sd card.

Is this design for purchase?
Light burn isn’t on Mac book 😮
What about acrylic/plexiglass? Can it engrave and cut that material well also?
