Recently I was in a brand new community center and all I could see were women and children ads. No Dads literally, not on one giant ad. There were about 10 inside and outside the bldg. Yes...70 year old man...brought to tears...working "together" has always been our secret "power"...its about the "collective"...think off all "we" can accomplish!
Started a business when I was twenty. Had to bc of my politics that kept us from getting jobs. SDS: Students for Democractic Society. Our only two things gave you membership: Fight Racism and Stop the War. (Vietnam). Had problems sometimes in keeping going, but I was there for fifteen years and then sold my store to my employees! They kept it going for another fifteen years. Couldn't get a job? Start a business! Many activists did this. We are talking about 1970-2000. And I was a. Young woman. Many would not believe I was the owner. I cried to watch this video. Now I fight for Kamala Harris and Walz. Must stop Trump and tyranny. Please vote to save Atlanta!
This is the most amazing thing ever! The black community needs more of this, so much power in our dollar. We must spend it with our own more and just spread love💕
This made me cry - if you love a local business, tell your friends, support it every time you think of a gift you need to buy, post about it in social media. This is the economic coalition that is needed for the black community to thrive. I was at The Black Wallstreet in Stonecrest GA last weekend, and one of the vendors said they're struggling to stay in business. Hopefully, they won't have to shut it down. I was wandering through Atlantic Station for the first time during some weekend event they were having, and I spotted this shop. I had just moved to the ATL and was having a bad day, and decided to explore the city a lil bit. I was caught by the name, so I stepped inside and saw too many things that I LOVED IN THIS SHOP ya'll! I decided buy myself a lil something, first it was a pair of LEATHER Leopard print earrings and an all naturall body soap bar, but I put all of that back when I saw THE BAG! So for the first time in my 53 years I bought something really nice, and it felt good to splurge on myself. I decided that this was my new spot and I already eyed which bag was next lol. I am so glad that this video popped up. I'm so happy for you my sister, you greeted me so warmly when I checked out, and we chatted like new friends. I will see you soon....I'm coming for my bag....if it's still there lol!
ikdr!! love that you treated yourself (and will continue to!!) AND that you do so while supporting our sistas at this location. 🥰🥰🦋 many blessings coming your way too for being a conscientious consumer!
I agree with the statement that we all need to support small business, however, not everybody everywhere has money. I think people need to show support however they can, even if they can't afford to shop. Pass on information on social media to people who might not otherwise see it. If there's an event you can go to, even if you can't buy anything go along. Moral support matters but also, we're looking at this because there's a big crowd. People see a big crowd and they think something important is happening. Side note: it would be interesting to know if any passersby came in because they were wondering what was happening.
@@alexs6770Actually they dont struggle to start(cant speak for the stop in tho). As a minority female, you get more money and grants to start business. BECAUSE it's a minority seeking to start a business. Ask me how I know..

Such a great lifeline to get the shop up and running. Keep going girl. When l come to USA for a visit I may have to pop in for a purchase.😅
It doesn't matter what ethnicity or race someone is to support a Black [woman] owned business. You don't say you're a white person when you buy from Walmart or Macy's or CVS... We/people shop where they can get what they want/need. Race because an issue when non-Black people refuse to shop/do business with Black folks/businesses. I don't care if you're from Mars, if there's something this business has that appeals to you - just BUY IT!!!

I have friends from “The Ville” some of the most solid individuals, not one of them takes any thing short of respect. Some good brothers to have in your corner. My boy Capo used to always say “I’m from Brownsville first Brooklyn second!💪🏾💪🏾🫡
Even more racism.
Incredible.
It ran chills through me when this young lady walked into her store and saw everyone in the community helping her.
I am a grown man an this brought tears to my eyes to see us come together 🎉❤
Ok I'm no the only one.
Me too brothers!
Real men cry. That's perfectly fine.
Same over here!
This made me cry to. I love ❤️ it
I really didn’t understand how POSITIVE internet ‘influencers’ could be, until I watched this video. God’s sun shines on ALL of us!
Man, I don’t know how she does it. Raising a little one, working with multiple business owners, managing all those stores…whew. She is Wonder Woman!! This is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen. There’s nothing more powerful than The Most High working through a community of passionate people!! Full body chills, baby! ❤❤❤ Congratulations!!
I’m sitting here in complete tears 😭 May the lord continue to bless you all
I know, I am bawling because this gives me hope for humanity
You're not alone, but they are happy tears!!
I’m a mess in here 😭
I literally have no words to express how powerful this video is!🙏
Crying my aspirin off!
💯 Black Communities Please Keep This Going Everywhere
I would love to spend with my people but I want to be welcome
I think we should be saying "small business community, Let's keep this going"

Thank you all so much for your kindness and support in the comments. And thank you to Neo, David, and the entire MOB who blessed us in a major way. We are eternally grateful!
Thank you Sis for being you🥰 Loving the Lord with Glory and Grace. Sis I loved that the Brothers came together for you. Our brothers are also gifted creators. Brothers creations belong on store shelves. The Brothers have sewn their seeds with you. There's no man without a woman. There's no woman without a man. Balance Sis. Please don't leave our Brothers out of the merchandise creative selections. Mind you the BLACK MAN came up with the plan to uplift your life and store. The Black Man is to Provide Protect and Preserve the Black Family. Please Recognize our Brothers on your products lines?? Honestly I hate this all Black Women BS. LEAVING OUR BLACK MEN OUT OF THE EQUATION. Basically the LORD HAS SENT THE Black Man with the ideas and power to pull THE COMMUNITY TOGETHER FOR YOU. BLACK MEN MATTER‼️ BLACK BOYS& Youth MATTER‼️Sis....... Pay attention to our future MEN. UPLIFT THEM IN YOUR PRODUCT LINES. What about the BLACK MAN'S creativity Sis? I'm happy the community has pulled together for the Sistah. ✊🏾✊🏽❤️🖤💚🇺🇲👉🏽💥💥💥💥💥💥 I need you to open your store to the Black Man. It's seems like plenty of them are supporting you. I just look at Black women with this women's initiative, like f%#/ the black man and his sons. SMH all the time. I can not get with the all black women's ticket. It discomforts me. I come from A TIME OF MAN WOMAN AND CHILD.... and you are actually living it. Husband Wife and child. What about your Husband and Son? Who's going to uplift them MALES while you're out uplifting women and girls? That you don't know. While the Brothers and men are left to figure it out? Bc that is the normal answer I get from Black Women on this Black woman's only BS. Sis I mean no disrespect. I'm keeping it real and I'm from Brooklyn NYC. So please try and understand that I am not attacking you. I just need you to reconsider while you restock. Our BROTHERS ARE CREATIVE ALL DAY, THEY ARE OUR STRENGTH!! I am very emotional about this subject. I always feel our Black boys youth and men are being dismissed by our Black Women as if their value is NONE. As is they're not being ignored and downgraded by the world. Like who's supposed to support our men through post traumatic stress disorder. While being denied. Recently I was in a brand new community center and all I could see were women and children ads. No Dads literally, not on one giant ad. There were about 10 inside and outside the bldg. When I looked around at the father's and sons inside the center they looked uncomfortable, bored and out of place. Extremely disheartening for me to watch. These were Spanish families. But I Clearly saw the Plan for the Destruction of the BLACK MAN.! Honey open your eyes. Hear the Lord's will. He gave each man the seed by the millions, has given us the eggs to be fertilized by the millions. Balance...⚖️ Sis, Balance ⚖️✌🏾peace 🥰 love and Much ABUNDANCE‼️👉🏽👉🏽👉🏽👉🏽FORWARD EVER‼️

I am weeping with joy for not only my sistah but for the real black community. THIS is what we need. Not politicians, not people making promises, but OUR community taking care of OUR people. Thank you! I will be doing some shopping online.
This is ministry! 🙌🏾🙏🏾
That part! GOD Bless you beautiful queen! Shalom and many blessings to you and to your beautiful family.
100!!
I love it! No grants, loans, just support. 💯💯💯💯
She could obviously benefit from grants since they're not required to be paid back. Unlike loans.
@@scribe712no….she has a good product. She can be successful without welfare.
This is the type of thing that the world needs more of -- people lifting each other up instead of tearing them down. Well done everyone who helped support this business.
Yes I agree totally
Facts💯… I absolutely agree

This made me cry - if you love a local business, tell your friends, support it every time you think of a gift you need to buy, post about it in social media. I’m a 62 year old grandma and I’m an ally of the Black Lives Matter community…so if I really want to make a difference, it is a good reminder that it doesn’t cost a lot to be of service.
OMG! People supporting people .. completely AMAZING!❣️
Not people, black people supporting black people like the other races do for their own exclusivly.
This is what community is all about. They came together to help this woman. No hate, no I'll intent. Just beautiful!! Way to go Atlanta!❤❤😊
With so much negativity today, people, please PASS THIS ON! Such a breath of fresh air, you guys fing rock! Perfect wakenbake session to start the day, thank you for making the world better, 1 chunk at a time. BUY LOCAL! SUPPORT LOCAL! KEEP LOCAL SHOPS ALIVE!!!! Brick and mortar NEEDS to stay alive before it get torn down for stupid CODOS and parking lots! This extends beyond race, EVERYONE can do part to support struggling business owners. This vid proves that just because you own a business, doesn't mean you are rich. You guys are SAINTS!
This is the economic coalition that is needed for the black community to thrive. I was at The Black Wallstreet in Stonecrest GA last weekend, and one of the vendors said they're struggling to stay in business. Hopefully, they won't have to shut it down. I see so much potential there. Peace and blessings to the Sister Shop. 🙏🏽💐
This makes me so proud about my people. Coming to save a black owned business.
That tribal racial mindset is yalls biggest problem...
This made me cry. This is beautiful. they way these people came together to support this women and all the artists that she supports. thank you for making this happen and that i get to see it here in AZ,. Blessings to you all. I love that you are so kind and humble.
❤❤❤
I'm literally in tears, who says we don't support each other. I'm in love with my people all over again! I'm so proud of you guys ❤🎉🎊🙏🏾👍🏾
Praise the Lord, He answers our prayers!
Please my Black people, we gotta support our own.
We gotta support each other…no matter what colour we are!
Am I your own? Or does love see color. Keep the blessings and love flowing to everyone.
EVERYONE should support ALL good people. Ignore color.
Color is what is used to divide this country.
Stop letting them.
I’m crying because y’all are restoring my hope in people!
Yes❤
I’m crying too!🥲🥲🥲🥲
May this store flourish in its mission!
Black. White. Orange. We ALL need to support small business, period! This beautiful act should be done everyday, everywhere by everyone❤️
Uh oh don't tell them that. They will call you racist.
When people can come together to support each other, Great things can happen.
@@alexs6770Actually they dont struggle to start(cant speak for the stop in tho). As a minority female, you get more money and grants to start business. BECAUSE it's a minority seeking to start a business. Ask me how I know..
You think the colonizer care about our business?? you black people need to wake up
Hi Aisha
I'm a lilly white Aussie and tearing up here, over how fantastic this is for you and for those you support..
You are doing a wonderful service. But indeed it's hard.
Seeing this not only brought tears of joy to my eyes, more importantly filling my heart and soul with the humanness there is hope for us all. Thank you all!!! You are all more of a blessing than you may realize. PLANT THE SEED OF GIVING BACK! ❤
Neo and David.. so amazing,
And to All the people who showed up . I’m In tears..
This is how we used to do things back in the 60"s. Keep up the great work and may others be inspired.
Amen! We need to bring it back!
The power of community is so beautiful and inspiring. We need more stories like these to remind us that there is good in the world.
I'm crying at how BEAUTIFUL this is. It's how God works!
This is how it should be…we tend to support everyone else except our own..the black community is the largest consumers and they always target us and build their empire on our backs…so time to sowed into our own vineyard. Well done to the team for supporting our sister!!
say that again sister.
It was sad in 2020 when BLM looted and burned down black owned businesses. And the other minority businesses. Followed by the businesses that provided jobs to these neighborhoods.
This makes my heart so happy! 🥰❤️ I grew up (I’m a white Aussie that was born in the UK…yep, very white LOL) surrounded by a lot of Motown music…about halfway through the video spontaneously started singing ‘Four Tops’ - Reach Out - I’ll be there🎵🎶🔊. Turn it up and sing LOUD and PROUD!!! You are ALL amazing! 🫶🏼❤️🇺🇸🇦🇺
I'm white and if I lived in the area I would have supported. TY for helping this small business owner. I love using small business owners where I can. Great job!
Parhaps to have on Line shop to, unfortunatly innperson shopping is not blossoming. Coffe shop parhaps to.
Support your local businesses too

This is the epitome of who we are as a people. I've participated in cash mobs, but nothing to the depth of what you all did. So amazing.
I agree, some will buy a section of the club to flex but this is a REAL flex 💪🏾
Let me tell you, thats what we need to do with black businesses. I love it, beautiful episode......
This is amazing...only God can do something like this...only God!!!
Those Nubian's were the Gods children of The Most High Psalms 82:6 and John 10:34.

I love seeing black people coming out and supporting each other, especially for a great and necessary cause. Bravo to you all!
It not only brought me to tears because you have supported this woman who supports other black women, but this is how Black people should be supportive of each other and their businesses. people, other races and religions practices. We should practice it too.
Well said. This is a good example for black people to follow.
Yes Indeed!

I am loving this community. I’m a white woman, happily married to a Nigerian man. I would move to this neighborhood, just so he could feel in his element, because the Nigerians, in their country, are just like this, too. ❤❤

And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
John 3:19 KJV
And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
This was so heartbreaking. I will definitely support this business. So many black owned restaurants and businesses are struggling right now and can use this support. Let’s do this in our own neighborhoods.

I'm only half thru this video yet and just am so happy to see such a great video helping this business!! I love this!
It’s nothing like seeing black people do for black people! This is incredible! What would happen if we pooled money together for black businesses like this!
This is beautiful! I seen this on TikTok but had no idea this was affiliated with one of the podcast I watch on a normal basis. God truly works through people. What a wonderful thing to witness as an entrepreneur just launching.
That was BEAUTIFUL!!
It always amazes me when people work together for good... instead of bad.
These folks are amazing! i hope the feeling continues.
Yeah it amazes you cause most of the time it's black people terrorizing businesses, especially food and retail. Black people will blame everyone else before they blame themselves. Where are the small white businesses? Oh yeah cause white people don't wake up every day thinking about their skin color cause they aren't racist like the people in this video. Pathetic.
To the beautiful people of Atlanta: I am in TEARS!! What a gift!! What a joy!! To the flash mob organizers, Social Proof, and the shoppers: God bless you all!! What a wonderful, wonderful mission!! ❤
This is how we are going to come out and vote....we are not going back....we are here to stay...TY for all you do ❤
