This is probably one of the easiest zig zag patterns I've seen- I'm a visual learner so being able to see you do it slowly and clearly really helps and also the repetition ❤😊

I'm fairly new to crochet. I think I've been doing it for about 2 months now. I love your videos. You always explain everything clearly and take your time showing what to do. I'm confused as to why everyone is complaining of the difference in the name of the stitch when you clearly state that in the UK it's a double in the US it's a single and telling you to make two separate videos for the two. Honestly it makes no sense. I'm from the US and have never had any issues with your tutorials. It takes a fairly small amount of common sense to pay attention to what you say and follow along. Either way thank you for such lovely patterns and wonderful tutorials.

Thank you. I’m going to make a tank top with this stitch in the middle portion and half double crochet on either side. It’s a dupe of a lovely sweater I saw on Pinterest. I came to TH-cam to learn how to do this stitch and your video was clear and concise. Again, my thanks!

If you crochet tightly (as I do!) it sometimes helps to use a larger hook for the foundation chain, then back to the 5.5 for the body of the afghan.

Thank you for all your awesome tutorials.
I use to crochet years ago when I was a stay at home Mom but I haven’t crocheted for a couple decades & now that I’m disabled I’m starting to crochet again & trying to learn new stitches & patterns.
A friend of mine had yarn from their deceased Mom & I offered to make something for them & I think they would love this pattern.
I have subscribed to your channel & will share & be back to make more of your beautiful patterns.
    Blessings from Sheila.

I think she said this pattern is multiples of 25 +5. So 25,50,75,100 etc. Once you choose how big you want it, add 5 more chains. They are added for stitching. I hope that helps. I'm teaching myself how to crochet and I was so confused by the multiples thing at first.

Row 1: sc in 2nd chain from hook. Sc in next chain, skip 1, sc in next 11 chains, 3 sc in next chain (forming peak), sc in next 11 chains, skip 2 chains, sc in next 11 chains, 3 sc in next ch, sc in next 11 ch, skip 1, sc in next 2 ch, ch 1, turn.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think what you did on that first row is a single crochet, not a double. In a double, you yarn over before you go in the whole, yarn over, pull, go through 2, go in, yarn over, pull, and go through the last 2

Hi Lilly, I’m using U.K. terminology so our double crochet is known as a single crochet in US terms 👍🏻

Is it possible for you to post a word document with the written out version of your pattern?

Noelle Parker yes I agree that would be nice. I couldn’t understand her when she said her numbers. In the beginning I don’t know if she said 15 or 50?

If im wanting to make a blanket, ive made 200 chains, so at the end i am suppised to add on an extra 20 stitches instead of 5? 🤷‍♀️

I started after watching this last night. Is it supposed to get longer on the ends. Like more than 11 stitches. Mine is turning out but I feel it’s wrong

    • @BlossomCrochet
      @BlossomCrochet  ปีที่แล้ว

It should have the same amount of stitches each row… if you’re ending up with more then you must have made a little mistake somewhere. If you’re able to, use a stitch marker and pop it into your first and last stitch of the row and that will hopefully really help keeping your edges straight 🥰🧶🌸

Ch multiples of 25 + 5 with 12 sts in between
I’m going to try to 8 in between and see how the calculation changes.

So you think I could use the same pattern but with a treble crochet? Do you know how many more I would add for the turning chain?
    Love your videos!!I

When you are doing a double crochet stitch uk term then it would be a double turning stitch ( chain 2 ) and when doing a treble crochet stitch the turning stitch (chain 3 ) would be a treble also.
Hope this helps. If your still suck I'm happy to help.
