Of all the many ripple patterns I have tried, this is my very favorite. I’ve lost count of how many afghans and baby blankets I’ve made using your pattern. I love how it flows with no large holes in the peaks and dips. Thank you for sharing your amazing talent with us! 😊
I wrote out the pattern in the video in order to remember it better. Thought I should post it here to anyone who wants it.- Written in US Terms, a US dc is the same as UK treble Round 1 Chain in a multiple of 12 (ex: # x 12 = number of chains) and then add on 3 to that number. The ch3 is your turning chain. Round 2 Dc in the 4th chain from the hook. *Do one dc in each of the next 3 chain spaces. Time to make our "valley". dctog2 twice. Do one dc in each of the next 3 chain spaces. Now the "mountain". Dc twice in the same stitch. Dc twice in the next stitch. Dc once in each of the next 3 stitches. Dctog2 twice. Repeat from * until you reach the last stitch. Do two dc in that final stitch. Rounds 3-∞ Ch3, then make 1dc into same stitch... 1dc into each of next 3 chs dctog2 dctog2 1 dc into each of next 3 chs 2dc into next ch 2dc into next ch 1dc into each of next 3 chs dctog2 dctog2 1 dc into each of next 3 chs at the end of your row, make sure dc 2 in the same stitch. !!!Remember, always start and end with 2 dc in the same stitch!!! Hope this helped you as much as it did me :)
Thanks for taking your time to post this reply it needs a little editing but yet I found it informational she says this all in the video I'm not sure why you felt the need to post that but it was kind of you ☺️ I think she "Thoroughly" covers every aspect of not missing the stitches at the end & beginning. And... Most UK crocheters on their videos will tell you that trebel in UK terms is it double crochet at the beginning 📖
Its round 2 where you say dc twice into the same stitch again, I think it need to be double crochet into the next stitch twice again. Great job though, super helpful!
I have tried learning this stitch many times via other YT channels. Your explanation and demonstration was so easy to follow, I had the flow right away. Thank you very much!
You are the best crochet teacher on TH-cam. It is impossible not to understand you tutorials. Your voice is always calm, you have a good rhythm (not too fast, not too slow) and you are patient enough to repeat whatever steps necessary to learn. Thank you so much for the lessons. :)
THANK YOU for an amazing tutorial video! You are, by far, the BEST instructor on TH-cam, I have ever come across! Your instructions are clear, concise, thorough, and evenly paced. I have completed 17 queen sized blankets, for my children, grandchildren, and sisters, using your "Cluster Stitch" tutorial, Waffle Stitch.....etc. And each of my blankets have come out beautifully. My co-workers want to buy my blankets, as they come out so beautifully, because of your professionally done videos. Each blanket I make, is made with love, and they are like my "babies"...a pure part of my heart, to give to family. And I can't thank you enough. I only began crocheting 18 months ago, and crocheting gives me relaxation while I go through chemotherapy. Crocheting is so relaxing, clears my mind, and keeps my hands busy, while creating beauty from yarn. I am currently doing this pattern, using Lion's Brand Hometown USA , bulky yarn, for my little sister, in Fayetteville Frost, Houston Cream, Washington Denim, and Billings Chocolate. Lion's Brand yarn is wonderful to use, is extremely soft, durable and comes in so many great colors. Mailing these heavy blankets cost a small fortune, but it's worth the love I give to family. Keep up the wonderful work you do! And thank you, again! God bless you and your family!
Hi Diane, firstly, thank you so much for such a wonderful comment! I am amazed and so happy that you've made so many blankets using my tutorials... Incredible. Your family are very lucky to have someone crochet such lovely blankets for them. I am also very glad that it gives you something to focus on while you're going through something so challenging, I'm sending lots of love for your continued chemotherapy. Take care and keep crocheting :)
I have looked for and tried different patterns and could not get on with the. Your pattern is simple to follow and to execute. Thank you for adding this lovely video. I have made a sample and written down what I need to do. Now I can make the blanket I have been wanting to make for a long time.
Your video is clear and at the right speed. I write the pattern down as you speak so I don't forget. I love your tutorials and always choose yours over others in learning.
Thank you for this brilliant video, I've learned to crochet from complete beginner thanks to great videos like this, im now working on my second ripple stitch blanket for baby number 4!
Your tutorials are easy to follow. I look at other sites but find myself using the one you show. I have made two blankets using your pattern. Thank you, from Phoenix Arizona.

Gorgeous ripple stitch😉Thanks for sharing. I'm excited to use the stitch as an accent to a top that i will be crocheting. I hope i will be successful.😊
I want to tell you how great ful I am for your tutorial. Unfortunately I can not find the words to say. I have been trying for over 2 years. I never could get the hang of it, until now. I have watched and read so many tutorials. I normally do US terms, which makes the fact that you taught me using UK terms all the more odd. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

You make it look so easy! Which is a good thing. I have a weird style of crocheting, working it more like knitting on one needle, but my stitches are still as they should be. I love the treble stitch. Thank you for the tutorial - I’ve wanted to learn the ripple stitch for years. (PS: I love your accent!)

Thank you again for your wonderful instructions. I am newer to crochet, and I always go to your videos for my lessons. I am almost done with a blanket using this stitch.. I doubled up the yarn so it would be chunky and a thicker blanket. Worked out perfectly. Thank you again!!!! :)

You Are My Go To Crochet Teacher 💜 Your Tutorials Are Calming * Clear & Easy To Follow I Very Much Appreciate Your Channel Thanx For Helping All Of Us Learn XoXo
I've been making simple crocheted blankets for about 10 years now and I'm just now starting to learn some patterns. This was super easy to follow. The only issue I'm having is the two trebles at the end. I cant seem to ever find the top of the chain 3.
When you start your next row, pop a stitch marker into the top stitch of your chain 3 as you do it (if you don’t have a stitch marker, you can use a paper clip or even a scrap of yarn) and then when you work back along on your next row, that top of the chain will be much easier to find ❤️
Great tutorial! Can you provide the link to the video of adding a border to this ripple blanket? I looked through the channel but couldn’t find it. I could be over looking it. Thx.

When you start your next row, pop a stitch marker into the top stitch of your chain 3 as you do it (if you don’t have a stitch marker, you can use a paper clip or even a scrap of yarn) and then when you work back along on your next row, that top of the chain will be much easier to find ❤️

Hello!! I'm very happy with your tutorial. It was very easy to understand and you went slow enough so that I could follow along with you. It's a easy pattern. I just love it!! Thank you soooo much. very much appreciated. I usually have to listen to them repeatedly, but not this time. Is there a written one with the video?
That's great! Thank you so much. I'm afraid I don't have a written pattern just at the moment. Rebekah
