THAT'S IT !! omigod, that's the pattern my Gramma made my long lost blanket with! Exactly. Oh, thank you, Crystal. I can picture my blanket, AND my Gramma. 😢😩😫. My Grandparents raised me and my older brother, and Gramma crocheted every family member a blanket or a throw before she was taken too young at 67 by !@#$$* Cancer. Mine was dusty rose, cream, and dusty blue. I need to make this, thank you for your video. 😫💜

I’ve made lots of chevron blankets. I like the ends better on your pattern & also going into the back of the two chains on the top of the “hills”. This comes out very neat and is easy to do. I’ve been crocheting for over 50 years and your pattern is my new favorite! I learned on a granny square but now like the rectangular granny better. We’re never too old to learn a better way to crochet ❣️

My grandmother made these same ridged ripple afghans and as a child I absolutely adored them! She taught me all my basic crochet but I never was shown how to make these. As I grew older I would try to make them and consistantly screwed them up no matter what pattern I followed! Your tutorial showed me exactly how to avoid all those mistakes and I'm so excited to try it again. I'm going to do a practice one so I can be ready for my Mary Maxim shipment of yarn I've chosen to make my daughters afghan for Christmas! Thank you so much for your tutorial so now at 72 years of age I can finally make my ripple afghan, God bless you darlin'!

I've been making tons of baby blankets for the last 5-6 weeks... ever since my daughter proudly announced she is pregnant - with triplets. These will be my first grandbabies so I'm going all out. I've made 15 blankets so far, and now I'm going to make 3 ripple blankets. The only thing I did different with this one is instead of just working into the foundation chain, I worked into the back "hump" for a cleaner edge. I'm using Red Heart Super Saver Ombre, Baja Blue for this one. I haven't decided what yarn to use for the next two yet. Thanks Crystal... your channel has been a blessing for me! 💜💜💜

Will be making this! I'm a knitter primarily, but I prefer to crochet throws. I've made similar patterns in the past and am reinspired by this tutorial. Thanks!

I was just scrolling and I saw this video with the same exact yarn I've been trying to figure out what pattern to make with it. TYSM for sharing this tutorial and now I know what I'm going to do with this yarn ♥️♥️

Crystal, you definitely have a gift for matching yarn to a project. I really need to go deeper into your playlists to get some kind of inkling into what to do with all my yarn!
This is a gorgeous pattern, thankyou so much 😊
