All jokes aside, this was one of the best, hard-hitting and romantic episodes ever of the show.

It's very character driven, and you get invested because the writers give the characters that humanity.
When Gabrielle starts to ask Xena to take her with her it's like a knife in the heart. That moment always makes me cry
"And I want to be like you." No better quote in the world, I could just cry.
One of my favorite episodes, the best one at showing how strong Gabrielle was emotionally and how vulnerable Xena was when it came to her and the possibility of losing her. No other episode was as good as this one at showing Gabrielle and Xena's bond and how much they meant to each other. That scene of Gabby waking after her nightmare still gets to me, wore out my tape replaying it, just beautiful.
Is there a doctor in the house showed just how much xena cared for Gabrielle
I think both of them behave in the same way in the face of death. They’re both ready to face their own death, but can’t stand the thought of being the only one to go on.
I think the Ides Of March episode showed their powerfully passionate bond between Xena and Gabrielle because Xena rescued Gabrielle and Callisto paralysed Xena with the chakram and Gabrielle killed Caesar’s army to show her deceleration of love to Xena and Gabrielle broke her own pathway and they gazed at each other while being crucified
The strength of bond between Xena and Gabrielle runs so deep. The fact that Gabrielle is willing to take the bait for the greater good is tear jerking. All of this just fires you up to want to see Xena take on a whole army in order to save the two of them.
This has to be one of the best episodes focused on Xena and Gabrielle. Top 10 i would even say top 5 and dare say Top 3 epis (of their relationship of course) I remember crying when i seen this year's ago. That part when Gabrielle caresses Xena and just stares ugh gets to me all the time. Xena kicking the Vase cause her desperation her anger. Everything in this epi just gets to you.
Please give us a movie with Lucy & Renee. We need Xena back!!!! From the dead... you know, again! 💔😭⚔️

LOVE ❤️ . Been Xena fan since very beginning of Hercules. One Against An Army is one of my favorite episodes too. It be nice to reminisce and see the scene where Xena and Gabrielle are talking and Xena says “well if this to be our destiny, let’s see it out together. Even in death, Gabrielle-I will never leave you.” Total tear 😢 jerker moments this one is.

I have posted on other videos on the channel and in the community. But i avoided posting on this video. This episode made me cry in college. Not cause of what happening. But I had good friend. That never knew how much she changed me. She was there when i need it most my life..To Lucy Lawless and Renee O'Connor I say outstanding job. This is coming from a 41 year old Handicapped man.I hope they can revisit their characters like they want.

It's from an early draft of the pilot the writers of this episode hadn't seen it so they only had the early version of the 'Take me with you' speech from a script. It comes up in lines but lots of different writers
I cannot rewatch this episode too often because I melt every time in a puddle of emotions and my brain stops functioning
One of the rare moments in the show that solidifies how powerful X e na and Gabrielle's friendship really is. Even against overwhelming odds and the lurking notion of possibly losing each other, Gabrielle and X ena were willing to face death together and do the right thing instead of retreating and finding medicine while Athens was on the verge of invasion from the Persians. Man, I luv this show!!

@@xxlCortez the writers of this episode hadn't seen Sins of the Past and they were given an older draft that had that line in it but it's not in the actual episode. They do reference it a couple times in before this when she tells Lilla that she thought she was the only oracle in the family
