Great question! You can absolutely use a good organic soil. Some people don’t like the mess that soil makes in their house and for commercial growers, sometimes grow mats are more desirable for the same reason. Organic soil does a great job, but depending on the soil, it could perform poorly or really well. We’ve tested a lot of organic soils versus some hydroponic methods and the hydroponic methods can beat soil for cost and provide more produce at harvest... it really comes down to whatever you want! We just like to try everything on the market and share our experiences so people can make better decisions 🤗🌱🌱

Why not just stick with a good organic soil??
Great question! You can absolutely use a good organic soil. Some people don’t like the mess that soil makes in their house and for commercial growers, sometimes grow mats are more desirable for the same reason. Organic soil does a great job, but depending on the soil, it could perform poorly or really well. We’ve tested a lot of organic soils versus some hydroponic methods and the hydroponic methods can beat soil for cost and provide more produce at harvest... it really comes down to whatever you want! We just like to try everything on the market and share our experiences so people can make better decisions 🤗🌱🌱
On The Grow I’m wondering if you’ve ever lab tested for nutritional value, soil vs another grow medium?
