Making a sphere shaped subwoofer box

My friend wanted a sphere shaped subwoofer box and I'm dumb enough to make one.
I used 6.5 mm thick birch plywood.
The diameter of the sphere is about 630mm and the wall thickness is about 25mm (1 inch)
This was insane amount of work. #neveragain

Acoustically subwoofers does not need to be sphere to sound better.However it is good to make small speakers in sphere shape to sound better.

I don't know why you didn't mimic the death star, with X Wings and tie fighters flying about. You mentioned in another video it took a year. That is crazy discipline to keep up with the video, let alone the project over that time. I like your circle jig for band saw.

Sub no need round enclosure as a wavelength is way longer typical speaker.
