Great video. My husband of 26 years just left me for our employee who was more "fun" than me. Said I was too religious for him. Unfortunately he gave in to his attraction for this other person and left me alone. It is very hard. I pray for God to give me the strength to keep going and be happy again. I know I will be but it is very difficult.
I'm praying for you. Please don't feel like you need to compromise your faith for him. I suspect that faith is exactly what he will soon need a very heavy dose of. God bless you
I'll pray for you And your husband that God make him understand importance of marriage and return to you. Nothing is impossible for our God. So stay strong!
Thank you for explaining that attraction doesn't have to be sexualized. People never understood when I'd explain I may think a person is attractive but not be attracted to them. It's easy to see the beauty God created in many areas, & just appreciate it as beauty, & how awesome the Lord is in His creations.

@@caryulmer5578 Yes you can describe another woman as attractive however that does not mean you are attracted to that woman. Because attraction is sexual,
This is wonderfully said. Society sadly puts attraction in the same group as sex, when it doesn't have to be. Every day, as Catholics, we should see the beauty in all living things. And that isn't something to fear. It's something to cherish and treasure.
I wish more people understood this. I came to understand this on my own as a non religious person. It's okay to feel love for someone because they are beautiful. Love or attraction isn't lust. Lust is only developed when you decide that you want to do something wrong.
I know this is not exactly the subject of this video, but I wanted to share that I've been married for 16 years and everyday I feel more attracted to my husband and everyday I admire and love him more (if there is more than infinity). Sometime I wonder why I am so lucky...
I heard a saying along the lines of emotions: they don’t always show the truth about the situation, but they do show the truth about your heart. Sweeping them under the rug does nobody any favors. Thanks, Jackie!
I’m tearing up about how much importance this video holds. Our society can be so messed up that we are forced into an instinctive mindset of how things are and should be. And I’m just about to start high school, so all of this is coming at me really fast. Thank you. God bless.
This is such great guidance - even for singles! In learning to separate our feelings of attraction from our modern social constructs of sexuality, we learn to love people for who they truly are as children of God, and not just be blinded by our physical desires rooted in what we hope to get/take from others. As a true sense of love grows for those we've become attracted to, we can discern with more clarity whether or not a person has the traits and compatibility to become a lifelong partner or is better off remaining a cherished friend 💜
I don’t think I’ll ever agree that married husband and wife shouldn’t be lovers at all times. Being friends in marriage is fine but should be accompanied by the fact that I am my beloveds and he is mine. That’s the point between my husband and some other dude who is a “friend.” I was caught off guard being in a beautiful bubble with my hubby and kids and a family member seemed to be attracted to me and I hadn’t known the pursuit feeling in a while (or needed it). It threw me off guard and I regressed into my teenage behaviors. But it was a good moment for my husband and I to stop being friends , (boring!) I told him what I was sensing, and again be LOVERS.
Glad to see a catholic couple to speak for God on the internet! Thx for spreading good news! I think people are easily attracted to good looking, status, good characters or talents, etc. Faithful to God and to yr spouse would be the key for having a everlasting marriage. We can only obtain this grace through prayers. As the same time, it's our responsibility to protect our eyes, avoid looking at pictures or people who make you have sexual thoughts. Keep distance to someone who is going to make you crazy or uncontrollable. If you fail, do confession, pray rosary to ask for chastity, God must help! I wish to see more model couples in the world.
Dhivagar DG Ok, I will pray for you every day from now to May. May God bless you abundantly. Focus on studying, eat right and sleep well. Please let me know yr performance when you finished yr medical entrance exam! Studying is hard , but think of the benefits and be consistent, you'll succeed in our Lord's time.
Dorothy Kan Is praying the rosary scriptural? Praying the rosary is promoted within the Catholic Church as a means of strengthening one’s faith, resisting evil, growing spiritually, and generally benefiting society. While some of the prayer of the rosary is scriptural, the whole second half of the “Hail Mary” and portions of the “Hail, Holy Queen” are blatantly unbiblical. While the first part of the Hail Mary is almost a direct quotation from Luke 1:28, there is no scriptural basis for (1) praying to Mary, (2) addressing her as “holy,” or (3) calling her “our life” and “our hope.” Praying the rosary involves giving attributes to Mary that the Bible never gives her. To call Mary “holy”-the Catholic Church teaches that Mary never sinned or had any taint of original sin-is not biblical. The Bible calls all believers “saints,” which can be interpreted as “holy ones,” but Scripture says that the righteousness believers have is the imparted righteousness from Christ (2 Corinthians 5:21). In this life, no one is yet sanctified from sin in practice (1 John 1:9-2:1). Jesus is called our Savior repeatedly in Scripture because He saved us from our sin. In Luke 1:47, Mary calls God her “Savior.” Savior from what? A sinless person does not need a Savior. Sinners need a Savior. Mary acknowledged that God was her Savior. Therefore, Mary acknowledged that she was a sinner. Jesus came to save us from our sins (Matthew 1:21). The Roman Catholic Church claims that Mary was saved from sin differently from everyone else-that she was saved from sin through the immaculate conception (her being conceived free of sin). But is this teaching scriptural? The Roman Catholic Church openly admits that this doctrine is not found in Scripture. When a young man addressed Jesus as “good Master” (Matthew 19:16-17), Jesus asked why he called Him “good” since there is none good but one, God. Jesus was trying to make the young man aware that he was using the term good too loosely. In praying the rosary, Catholics use the term holy too loosely. No one, including Mary, is holy but God. This ties in with Romans 3:10-23, Romans 5:12, and countless other passages that stress the fact that in God’s eyes no one measures up. Never is Mary excluded from such all-encompassing statements. But praying the rosary has an even more basic problem, namely, that much of the prayer directed to Mary, not to God. We are never told in the Bible whether anyone else in heaven can even hear us. God alone is all-knowing, all-powerful, and all-present. When Jesus taught His disciples to pray, He taught them to address their prayers to God the Father. Every example of prayer in the Bible is addressed to God alone. There is never a single example of someone praying to any “saint” or angel or anyone else (besides prayers to false gods). Further, any time that a pious person prostrates himself (in a religious setting) to honor someone else besides God (chiefly to the apostles or angels), he is told to get up, to stop it (Acts 10:25-26; 14:13-16; Matthew 4:10; Revelation 19:10; 22:8-9). The Roman Catholic Church states that it worships God alone but “venerates” Mary and the saints. What is the difference? A person praying the rosary spends more time calling out to Mary than to God. For every one praise of God in the rosary, there are ten praises of Mary! Praying the rosary also assigns a task to Mary that the Bible never assigns her. Jesus is our Redeemer (Galatians 3:13; 4:4-5; Titus 2:14; 1 Peter 1:18-19; Revelation 5:9), our heavenly Advocate (1 John 2:1), and our one and only Mediator (1 Timothy 2:5). The “Hail, Holy Queen” portion of the rosary prayer calls Mary our “most gracious advocate.” This is a direct contradiction of the clear biblical teaching that only Jesus is our go-between. Praying the rosary requires Catholics to call upon Mary as the “holy Queen.” The only time in Scripture that the title “Queen of Heaven” is found, the term is used in a negative way (Jeremiah 7:17-19; 44:16-27). The Bible never pictures Mary as a queen; rather, she calls herself “the Lord’s servant” (Luke 1:38). She is never given a crown or authority over heaven and earth. Likewise, is it appropriate, while praying the rosary, to call Mary our “life” and “hope”? Again, these are terms that are used of God alone in Scripture (John 1:1-14; Colossians 3:4; 1 Timothy 1:1; Ephesians 2:12; Titus 2:13). The practice of saying the rosary runs contrary to Scripture in a number of ways. Only God can hear our prayers. Only God can answer our prayers. We have one intermediary (Jesus), and it is in His name we pray, not Mary’s.
Maya Ivy thanks for yr detailed explanation on yr views! Honestly, I pray rosary every day. Mary is my mother, your mother and everyone's mother. She is not the saviour, but she is the first person chosen by God to be his mother. Beacause of her yes and fully co operation with God, Jesus came to earth. Without Mary's yes, all of us can't receive the salvation from God. God is still looking for people on earth to cooperate with him, so his blessings can reach to everyone. We need God, we need people and we also need Mary. She is the excellent example of all Christians. Although she seems to have a very few part in the bible, but we can learn a lot from her through her life showing how she loves God faithfully. For example, she never says no to God. Even she doesn't understand what his son saying, she put his words in heart and keep thinking. She knows jesus is God and trust him no matter what happened. You know?people beat his son and crucified him but he did not do wrong things. Mary is 100%human, she was totally heartbroken when his lovely son on the cross. What's more, let look at the wedding banquet, let see how Mary love people, she noticed the bride and the groom lack of wine. Just a tiny thing, she cared our needs and our wants, so, she told Jesus,' they lack of wine! pls see how Jesus reacted, he finally turned the water to wine because Mary asked for a request. Who is she?his mother. As a catholic, I can pray to God directly.Second , I can ask Mary to pray for us just like asking some friends to pray for you too. Don't forget, She is our mother ! Jesus told to his disciple when he was on the cross, look,! This is your mother! If you look like Mother, that means you look like Jesus. God bless!
Thanks, Jackie! We are a society swept away and dictated by feelings and emotions-leaving dedication, commitment and honor at the wayside. A lot of it has to do with pushing God out of societal norms. Being rudderless, we grasp at anything that will make us feel loved.
Thank you so much for this!!! for letting me know that it is okay to be attracted to everyone without sexualizing it. coz I do appreciate the beauty even if it's a man or a woman. I don't have any romantic feelings when it's a woman, but just a few days ago, I met this guy who has wife and kids already and I found myself attracted to him, but I will never act on those feelings but my attraction to him made me feel like I have sinned already. Your message really helped me a lot, if I meet people who are not single but I'm very attracted to, I will thank God that He created such a beautiful person and I will also pray for his gf or family.
I watched this video months ago and it really stuck in my head. Today a friend came to me and shared that she was having a really hard time with a situation like this. I was so glad that I remembered this video and that I could share it with her. Thank you for your wisdom, Ascension Presents!
Great video. I'd add, if you find yourself in this situation, draw strength from the grace of frequent sacrament of confession. It will provide all the grace you need to do what's right.
Thank you thank you thank you! Struggling with scruples often. So it is such a good reminder that feelings are not the same as our actions and choices! Raised evangelical where concupiscence was considered sin... So much unnecessary guilt over feelings that thankfully have not turned into actual willed sin... Thank you for helping me.
I stumbled on to you looking for a different Ascension video and, wow, were you looking over my shoulder? I start watching, thinking, what could this child tell me that I don't already know? It turns out- a lot. Thank you so much for this wake up. God bless you.
Remember 1. Attraction is normal. Part of being human. It’s okay. 2. Attraction does NOT have to be sexual. 3. Attraction does NOT have to mean anything. Careful not to follow feelings. Go to the vocation you’re already committed in. Tend to your vocation. Enkindle the love you first felt. Love not lust. Prepare for the fact that you’re going to be attracted to someone else. So be ready.
This is SO good! Jackie and Bobby, thank you for your loving, true, good, and beautiful teaching, drawn from the wisdom of the Church and put so well to address the real and everyday practices of life.
Amazing advice! If you love someone you want what is best for them even if that's not what is best for you. Love is sacrificial like Christ on the Cross. That wasn't easy hanging there. Christ put our needs above His. Thank you. Beautiful video. 😊
Great video! I think back to Fr. Mike's video (when the Ashley Madison hack was in the news) about how we don't have to engage/act on our attraction just because we feel it.
So many marriages were started on the wrong foundations. We are feelings and emotionally reactive. Cultures shape how we are programmed. Religion is a commonplace for the principles of marriage. Most are not religious, therefore they do not respect virtues. Jackie, you are fortunate, may you be blessed for your passion for the betterment of your fellow humans. Jackie, you have to slow down, you are so excited to give your message, that you talk so fast! Thank you for your gift!
So I saw this beautiful young lady when I was working out this morning. I made eye contact and said Good Morning to her and she responded likewise. I felt an attraction to her, not so much her body, but her smile. I have no idea whether she is married or not. I felt the desire to pray 🙏 her. I have no idea whether I will ever see he again. I do know that she was created to be a daughter of God. Every person that enters our life is for a purpose ❤️
Excellent subject that we all need to know about this, that we are all human. Strengthen your mind with prayer, that way you will be strong in the face of temptation when it comes at the unexpected moment.
As a person of Asexual orientation (yes, we’re real too) I can totally relate to this video! We mostly appreciate aesthetic side of the people, without other feelings. 💜
Thank you so much for this helpful topic. Now I won't feel bad if I see the beauty in a handsome married man. As long as you don't act on that attraction. I pray I don't fall into lust with anyone. ❤️🙏🏼
Thank you for sharing your insightful thoughts and God bless you! We will keep your marriage, all married couples, and people in their current vocations in our prayers. God bless you all!
Thank you for taking the time to make this insightful video. I really needed it for my own relationship. It something church just doesn’t talk about and it does more harm than good in marriages we’re you feel like you should only be attracted to your spouse.
I am attracted to you, Fr. Mike and the nuns who take care of my younger son and took care of my middle son. Right now you are shining so much light into my path I just want to get inside the monitor and just hug you! Can't have enough of these videos... Always enjoy the joy in all your smiles!
This honestly is really helpful to me. I just got out of a year long relationship and now are in a different chapter of my life! I am craving that connection and dopamine rush to have a relationship with another person, but this has helped me realize that I need to water the grass in God and Is relationship garden!
Such a beautiful video... I recently broke up with my boyfriend cuz he was attracted to someone else... He had decided to marry me but things didn't work out as we had planned.. and this video popped up at the right time.. thank you so much. one thing is that i gave up on him very quickly.m though he told me that he was getting attracted to someone.. instead of helping him I decided to leave him.. I regret for that... Please pray for him that the holy spirit would guide him in future
I feel this is super extreme. As someone who was married for 12 years....I can tell you, that, relationships should go much deeper BEFORE marriage. Most of marriage is dealing with real life, ups and downs and times are not always good. So, it would be better to spend more time up front in intimacy and dealing with real-life problems rather than just courting or dating....and attraction is not bad...
Very well said! The devil is so subtle - he will get a toe hold if you are not brutally honest. He can use the best of intentions to destroy all the goodness . Just run the other way , make a move don’t be a sitting duck. Lock yourself in the merciful heart if Jesus. We tend to think we are God. We are very much weaker than our best intention. Shut it down , don’t entertain any attraction that is not of God.
This is amazing! I’ve definitely binged a few of your and Bobby’s videos and these are truly a blessing. Thank you for the prayers and the love! All for JMJ and I’ll be praying for you and your beautiful family❤️
Hi Jackie, I’m usually very cynical when it comes to videos such as these, but overall I think you did ok, and hence my giving it a 👍, or a “like.” I agree with the comment below about a “part 2,” in that this is a very complex thing, but again, you handled it fairly well, I thought. For me, the most important advice in the video came at the end when you advised prayer. Sometimes, especially if things aren’t going well in life or in a vocation, those feelings of dopamine and oxytocin are so comforting and and consoling, that despite that it may be the devil who’s tempting you, they’re a B-12 shot or a double espresso shot that one just doesn’t want to stop enjoying. You’re right that only the power of prayer, coupled perhaps with counseling or strong friendships, that can help us work through this. It took guts to say some of what you did. Good job! P.S. I wanted to guess who the celebrity couple was that you were alluding to, but there are several. Brad and Angelina came to mind, but... then there’s Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner...and others, I’m sure
In agreement with this whole message and john 12:32 I loosen healthy attraction in my life from the right kind of people, in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, amen and hallelujah: "And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to Myself.”
Great Video! Attraction doesn' t always have to mean something! Thanks for explaining it as I believe this is something we all struggle with, specially in our culture. Blessings in Jesus and Mary!
Marriage is work and you can keep the flame going but you have to work at it, make time to connect and do things together that are fun. Bring GOD to your union and remember that there are going to be ups and downs in your relationship .
It's disheartening that the first point she makes about attraction is how it's dangerous because people can always want more. I really like Ascension Presents but I'd like to hear about how being in love can be a direct line to what faith and prayer could really be like.
This topic can go deeper or it could be a more specific example of hedonism. We equate pleasurable things to good and unpleasant things as bad. But Jesus gave us a new definition of what is good and what is bad. It is not based on feelings. This is a very good topic
I left the church some years ago. I had sex and made many sins. I don't know if I still believe in god, but recently I had the occasion to stay with a married woman. I refused her, I was feeling that for this kind of sin God's revenge would have been terrible. Some years ago I was a catechist in my church, and the guys I was guiding we're younger. Now they are adults, and recently I had the occasion to have sex with a girl who is a friend of a girl I followed in church. Because I knew she would have known, and I didn't wanna be a bad sample. I don't know if I believe in god, please pray for me, love from italy
I needed this. Thank You for leading me here Holy Spirit. ✝️🕊❤️🙏🏻 Yes, go on date nights (thank you for mentioning this, dear) and marriage retreats with your husband. Please do one for Single People, too. Also asking God to take away those feelings, too.
If society understood love the way the Greeks did, this would be a lot easier to get. Eros love will fade, agape love is a choice, and the highest form
Agreed, but some questions genuinely seeking answers. Ok so we are told as Christians and that it is normal ( nay good even)for you, as a single person, to look forward to and be excited about enjoying God’s gifts of sexual intimacy within marriage BUT that these good desires can quickly become sinful if we turn them into lust, or use them with the wrong person at the wrong time. Ok granted and I'm familiar with TOB etc but that raises an interesting question I have never received a good answer to. We have all heard the standard answer about what separates a non sexual thought from a sinful one with that standard story about how we can't stop the birds flying over our heads but we can stop them building a next in our hair and yes that makes sense in a certain way we can all relate to. We can clearly dwell on something sexual for too long and let lust in BUT ... . This analogy like all analogys at some point fails and that is where I'd like some guidance. How can a single human being come to terms and control their sexual drive without ever ... Well I suppose for want of a better way of putting it... (Considering it, , thinking about it, examining it and what it is) . To bring it to a practical issue. Sexual desire for a prospective marital partner IS a fundamental thing that must be 'considered' but there does not seem to be any way of engaging with a sexual thought even towards a legitimate fiance before marriage that within one nano second will turn into lust because to think sexualy about another person outside the constraints of marriage ( and actually married ) is a sin even if you intend 100 % to be married as until the marriage ceremony has taken place you cannot call that other person truly ' yours ' . We all start out as sexual beings as teens when sexual thoughts first appear but how else can we possibly have any idea or make sense of these sexual thoughts and drives without actually experiencing them, engaging with them in some proper way ( but any attempt to honestly experience them will obviously overwhelm anybody in a nanosecond) it seems a genuinely impossible task. This is why I can't make sense of the sentence I opened with above about ( a healthy sexual drive in single people ) what is that ?? , I'd like some honest and hopefully insightful responses. Please don't reply with stuff I've read a million times before , such as for example ' prayer ' ( I believe in prayer but I've found all it can do it help stop any sexual thoughts and while that is effective as far as turning off the thoughts, it doesn't allow space for these so called 'legitimate sexual feeling' that would allow one to consider and look forward to legitimate sexuality in its proper context, and does not help with this idea if incorporating a healthy sexuality and desire as a single person, it just removes it for a time ) or Please don't reply with some explanation of how love and lust differ ( I understand that but as some point if I may be frank ... Love by itself does not make blood flow into the nether regions so sexual desire in all it's raw form is still relevant and absolutely nesesary as love by itself does not cause that blood to flow where it is necessary at the right time) so what I'm really hoping for is some different take or explanation from a Christian perspective to help me make sense of and reconcile this idea . Really hoping someone has something to say on this I've never heard before. Just a point of information, this is not written by someone looking for an out , I fully except all Christuan doctrine and teaching on this, (no If's no but's ) and realise it's something one must suffer through and bear , however I think I'd be more at peace if teaching was ' sexual thoughts or feelings must never be entertained in any shape or form unless already married ' but that's not what is taught and I'm somehow supposed to be able to be excited about enjoying god's gift of sex within marriage now without ever somehow dealing with it or coming to terms with it. ????
I also wanted to write that Jackie you are an amazing smart virtuous woman that I want to be when I grow up and that your preaching and talks are amazing and that you should keep doing it with Bobby. God bless you and your family keep staying true pray with Jesus and keep on loving in Jesus name I pray Amen 🙏🏾 ☀️😘🇰🇪🇰🇪😘
Please LORD heal us and keep everyone watching or reading safe and make sure that people around the world get better or don’t contract and get sick from anything in Jesus name I pray Amen 🙏🏾
Wow Jackie! You're super on point with the dopamine release during attraction! I certainly know how that feels; It's like you can read mind! Also, Keep up the great work. All of your videos are so relatable to me!!!! It's like you're describing what I'm going through ♥️♥️
This is so honest and good and full of clarity. I feel like Cosmopolitan should be shut down and people should be redirected here 😂❤️
Yeah. I always cover those filthy magazines with food, or other non-pornographic magazines.
God bless you Jesus loves you ☀️👌🏾🌺🥰🙏🏾🌺💕
Cosmopolitan Magazine was originally a 2nd wave feminist publication I heard. Now they are one of the most demeaning magazines imho.
Sooo true!!
I’ll second that. 🤣

YES PLEASE ! Especially how a woman should behave towards a person they are attracted to.
I would also like a part two on Single people. It seems that everyone wants to gloss over this situation.
Me too
@Dhivagar DG Pray the rosary!I will include you in my prayers!God bless you!
Yes yes yes!
I think this is great advice if you are also single, attracted to someone else who is single, but you know they're not the right one for you.
This is what I needed. Thanks for clarifying what feelings really are, what attraction truly is. Keep it up!
Seperating love and lust should be taught in school. Shame our culture has welded the two together
Blame France, The 1920s and The Frankfurt School of Marxism and post WWII Postmodernism and Globalist influence.
It's not shameful
For me love and lust DO share the same company. This is common in women. It is men who have them separated
Thank you so much for your Fr. Mike Schmitz impression! that was gold, I also second the request for the singles attraction.

This is such great guidance - even for singles! In learning to separate our feelings of attraction from our modern social constructs of sexuality, we learn to love people for who they truly are as children of God, and not just be blinded by our physical desires rooted in what we hope to get/take from others.
While the first part of the Hail Mary is almost a direct quotation from Luke 1:28, there is no scriptural basis for (1) praying to Mary, (2) addressing her as “holy,” or (3) calling her “our life” and “our hope.”
Praying the rosary involves giving attributes to Mary that the Bible never gives her.
I have dedication, commitment, and honor to my job. That doesn't mean I want to sleep with my boss.
I’m on the same boat, I’m in California, but camping I talk to you
I watched this video months ago and it really stuck in my head.
I pray that people can learn to look at others as children of God, instead of always seeking to engage the lust of the mind.
Children of God deals with agape love not marital love.
I stumbled on to you looking for a different Ascension video and, wow, were you looking over my shoulder? I start watching, thinking, what could this child tell me that I don't already know? It turns out- a lot. Thank you so much for this wake up. God bless you.
'Child'
You’re a genius! You express all of this so clearly and in such a down-to-earth manner!
Remember
You have a gift of explaining things with clarity (hope I spelt that right) . God bless you.
Bravo!
Great advice.
More of this please.
I know they say “Don’t read the comments.” But you have a good following of positive souls.
3:41 Perfect impression of Fr. Mike Schmitz! xD
This is SO good! Jackie and Bobby, thank you for your loving, true, good, and beautiful teaching, drawn from the wisdom of the Church and put so well to address the real and everyday practices of life.
I needed to hear this today, thank you,God and thank you Ms. Jackie,God bless!!!
Amazing advice! If you love someone you want what is best for them even if that's not what is best for you. Love is sacrificial like Christ on the Cross. That wasn't easy hanging there. Christ put our needs above His. Thank you. Beautiful video. 😊
The Holy Spirit is working through you! Thank you for being open to Him!!
This was so beautifully put. Thank you Ascension Presents. Thank you Jackie; God bless you and your family.
I was married for 10 years and the dopamine never faded.
God bless you and your family, Amen.
Here I am single .
@@amanredie6449 cool
@@michelleraginimukhia9026 how are you.
Will pray for you two.
@@ivanbrewer4467 thank u very much
This video has enlightened me about attraction and how to handle it in a Christian way. Guaranteed to save and preserve marriages.
Thank you. Such great words of truth. Keep these enlightening videos coming, please.
Been keeping this video in the watch later playlist for so long and it was so worth it!
This is amazing! I’ve definitely binged a few of your and Bobby’s videos and these are truly a blessing. Thank you for the prayers and the love! All for JMJ and I’ll be praying for you and your beautiful family❤️
I agree, such a beautiful face on your shoulders. Good living single lady
Thank you, recommend praying in the beginning of the videos!
I LOVE this!! Thank you Jackie. I've tried to talk about this with so many of my friends but you say it so much better. Thank you for this resource.
Thank you so much! Great help. This is what I needed in this very moment.
Thanqq so much Jackie 😊😊. Lots of love ❤
Thank you so much! It helped placed my emotions and attractions in their proper order!
Hi Jackie,
I’m usually very cynical when it comes to videos such as these, but overall I think you did ok, and hence my giving it a 👍, or a “like.” I agree with the comment below about a “part 2,” in that this is a very complex thing, but again, you handled it fairly well, I thought.
Your so cute Jackie, so easy to listen to you, thank you God for you, for this video & your goodness, truth & beauty!!💞🙏💖
So much truth in this oh my goodness! I am currently single but all of this was super useful and just such a great reminder so thank you Jackie !
I am so so so so so so so very thankful for this video. This is so nice to hear!!!!
Thank you soooooooooooooooooooooo much .This is worth listening to many times over.
This helps me a lot. Thank you so much! 😢💕
Thanks Jackie! your talks are really helpful, I am praying for you, and for Ascension! God bless you
It's disheartening that the first point she makes about attraction is how it's dangerous because people can always want more. I really like Ascension Presents but I'd like to hear about how being in love can be a direct line to what faith and prayer could really be like.
This advice is sound. Thank you sister.
Amen hallelujah!
So helpful!! This content is gold!
This was so good. Thank you
Would love to see you have your own channel for encouraging catholic moms and wives who are practicing their faith. Xx God bless you and your family
I love this teaching
Wow very well said and explained. I really like it how u included all vocations!
A beautiful talk. Thank you.
This topic can go deeper or it could be a more specific example of hedonism. We equate pleasurable things to good and unpleasant things as bad. But Jesus gave us a new definition of what is good and what is bad. It is not based on feelings. This is a very good topic
This is awesome material. This is the type of stuff that should appear on Dr. Phil or Oprah Winfrey. Typed Feb. 5, 2021
Excellent video! Thanks for the upload.
Praying for u Stevie, Spero che tu stia bene, Dio con te.
I was looking for this video for a loong time. Thank you very much ❤❤
Thank you 😊❤️ God bless you and your family!
🙏🏻🕊❤️🔥Awesome! Thank you!❤️🔥🕊🙏🏻
You are so pretty. Your beauty shines from inside out.
Loving all you and your husband's videos!!! Please keep them coming! 💕
very good talk, watched it yesterday.
Awesome, thanks and God bless 🙂🙏🏼❤️
If society understood love the way the Greeks did, this would be a lot easier to get. Eros love will fade, agape love is a choice, and the highest form
Can we have another video about what to do when you feel attracted to someone who is not good for you? From a catholic perspective
Very useful information...thank you
Wow! Your video came in at the right time in my life 😊, Thank you.
Please don't reply with stuff I've read a million times before , such as for example ' prayer ' ( I believe in prayer but I've found all it can do it help stop any sexual thoughts and while that is effective as far as turning off the thoughts, it doesn't allow space for these so called 'legitimate sexual feeling' that would allow one to consider and look forward to legitimate sexuality in its proper context, and does not help with this idea if incorporating a healthy sexuality and desire as a single person, it just removes it for a time ) or
Please don't reply with some explanation of how love and lust differ ( I understand that but as some point if I may be frank ...
Really eye opening 👍👍 praise God
Thank you for this reminder
Please LORD heal us and keep everyone watching or reading safe and make sure that people around the world get better or don’t contract and get sick from anything in Jesus name I pray Amen 🙏🏾
I admire you endlessly! thank you so much! you are God´s favorite
Wow Jackie! You're super on point with the dopamine release during attraction! I certainly know how that feels; It's like you can read mind! Also, Keep up the great work. All of your videos are so relatable to me!!!! It's like you're describing what I'm going through ♥️♥️
