The first gen was done in the 60s as the GT40. Ford let the trademark lapse so the remake they did in 2005 was just the GT. Same car though. Search the trailer here on youtube for Ford vs Ferrari coming this fall which looks to be pretty epic. The 2005 GT is my dream car, would love to see one on DDE!

Sven Wiebe and you know they’d have to twin turbo it, that would be brutal. Problem is these guys want these rare, low mileage cars that are worth 5x a daily driven car, just to daily driven it and destroy it. Why buy a 1 of xxx just to put 60k on it and break everything? I’d be looking at any Ford GT with miles maybe even a salvage titled, but cheap and build it hard not a $500k collectors model.
