Here's the guide
Power:
- Downpipe: RV6 (Catted/Catless)
- Intake: AEM (C.A.I System/Drop In Filter)
- Throttle Body Spacer: Blox Racing (19mm), Power Rev Racing (18mm)
- Tuner: Ktuner
Exhaust:
- Catback: Invidia N1 (Cooupe + Sedan), Magnaflow Street Series (Coupe only)
- Axle Back (Muffler Replacement): Any aftermarket muffler (i.e Skunk2, HKS, Borla, etc.)
- Custom: Muffler Delete, Resonator Delete, Straightpipe, Pipe Replacement (larger diameter), Fully Custom (i.e replace muffler, resonator, piping)
Suspension:
- Lowering Springs: Tein, Skunk2, D2, etc.
- Coilovers: Tein, BC, GodSpeed, Raceland (cheapest), etc.
- Air Suspension (Bags): Airlift, TruHart, D2, etc
Handling:
- SiriMoto: Phase 2 Strut Bar & Subframe Brace, Subframe "W" Brace
- Sway Bar (Anti-Roll Bar): SiriMoto, Eibach, Megan Racing, Whiteline Suspension
Fitment:
- Wheels: Measure for fitment (offset, width, wheel size)
- Tires: Tire size, stretch vs no stretch
- Spacers (IF NEEDED): Measure the size needed (Torque the bolts & lug nuts to 80 ft-lb)

- Where to buy: Mostly Ebay & Amazon, also Pro Car Studio
- Grille: Pro Design Honeycomb Mesh Grille, Black Battle Style Grille, Type-R Grille (take off Type-R emblem if you're buying it from the dealership), etc.
- Seibon Carbon: Carbon fiber splitter, side skirt, diffuser, hood, trunk, fenders; buy it from their site
- Spoiler/Wing: DON'T GET TYPE-R WING (looks bad on the sedan IMO), Honda OEM Accessory Catalog, Duckbill spoiler is tasteful
- Gear Shifter: Manual (any shift knobs w/ 10x1.5 threading), CVT (Speed Dawg Universal Automatic Adapter (w/ any 16x1.5 threading)
Lighting:
- Headlight: Any trim level's headlight housing are compatible w/ each other, Pro Tuning Lab Sequential Projector Headlight looks the best IMO
- Tail Lights: Ebay, Amazon, CarID
- Lightbulbs: LED, HID, RGB (demon eyes); any brand
- Bulb Sizes: H11 (low beam), HB3 (high beam), more in owner's manual

Just putting this out there for anyone who wants it
For the intake, HPS also makes a intake hose for our engine. So if you don't want to spend a lot on a intake, you can buy a HPS hose along with a K&N drop filter. You about the same, or like 1 to 2 hp less then the short ram intakes available.
If you're willing to put in some work, the K24W intake Manifold also fits our k20c2 engine. You will need to relocate the map sensor and you will need k24w support brackets. Those who have done this swap seen gains in the lower rpms. It's a lot of work for a small hp gain, but gains are gains if you want it.
Great video summing up all the mods, agreed that our engine doesn't get enough love.
Just got mine today in blue also get the boomba racing engine mount and ngk spark plugs the ones for the 2.0l NA non turbo.
Excuse my ignorance, but does that mean K24w aftermarket intakes fit aswell? Or just the OEM? Willing to do some junkyard digging if i have to even for small gains 😂
Do you know which edition of the K24W. I’m assuming the one in the Accord?
How do we relocate the map sensor? I am going to buy the manifold and k24w1 throttle body and port it. The manifold already comes with the support bracket

Lot of great info and ideas here brotha I really dig ur content. I recently started my channel and we have the same exact car except mine is the manual trans. But for the most part I gotta tell you that ur doing a great job man. I got a new job that’s 82 miles a day round trip. It’s basically my commuter. I bought the LX. I put in “katskin” leather seats. Tricked out all the inside with “carbon fiber look” dash all middle console and steering wheel. Added two 12” in the trunk and feel much better in my long commute. Still debating on rims and exhaust. I’m a 40 y/o and don’t want to look like I’m trying to act young.
Don’t do exhaust if you have cvt

Im surprised the 2.0 doesnt have more parts. I thought the K20 is what everyone loved about the civic so tuners would get it over the 1.5t. Im interested in it because 2.0 should be a way more reliable engine compared to the 1.5t

The K20C2 is not exactly a K-series engine, and is much more different from the K20A series, which has much more tuner support.

Ktuner won't damage your engine without any bolt on. Just don't go crazy with it and you'll be safe
I have a 2020 but it has a speed limiter, how can i get rid of it and will it break my lease? It’s the only thing I don’t like about it
Don’t ever tune a leased car. Stick to cosmetics

I drive a 2017 civic coupe lx manual.
Not too much love for our cars but even with all the mods it’s not that much faster than stock.
I’ve done:
ported throttle body
ported intake manifold
Ktuner
Rv6 catted downpipe
HPS intake hose
K&N Air filter
50 pounds of Weight reduction
Grippier tires 🛞
All of this and my 0-60 is at 7.3-7.4 compared to 8.2 stock.

The 2.0 is really slow. I raced against a 6MT hatchback 1.5T and I lose top end at 90mph. Civic turbos are faster forsure

I got my first Honda recently and its the base Lx. I never knew I’d love a car this much. I would like to see about fixing whatever i can to it. I mean its basically a baby. Lol. Drive it off the lot with 0 miles. My question is.. is it better to just upgrade models or build and add more to the 2.0 base?
Really depends on what you plan to do. If you want to make more than 200hp then upgrade to a 1.5T model. This 2.0 NA engine is probably going to be more reliable as it’s been around for a while now and refined over time.

What do you think about skunk2 k-series BMF2 Camshaft for 1,200 fits 2.0l na claims it will l add up to 100whp now with all other mods ktuner down pipe etc I think 275whp or more can be achieved all motor.

I took it to a local tuner lol, he knows more than me. But pretty much what he did was messing with the fueling and some other parameters.
You dont need a tune for pops get a straight pipe muffler res delete put it in L it sounds the loudest in that gear. S pops to but not like L you keep on tapping the throttle just berly but do it fast it will shoot flames.
I didn’t even know about the different models lol I needed a car the same day and the civic looked nice so I got it, I should’ve done more research, I love the lx but I wish it had just a few more things lol

I can’t since I took it to a local shop for the tune, but from what I understand they messed with the fueling. The alternative to the pop pop tune is running a straightpipe, as you drive in S or L let off the throttle and blip it; or if you drive in D change to S or L then let off throttle and blip. If you have a manual then just down shift. The pop pop tune just makes the pops more consistent, the straightpipe pop is inconsistent and varies in how loud and how much it pops.
since the making of this video ktuner has released an updated tune to lower VTEC to 5300rpm

No they haven’t
You just download the software again from Ktuner, it'll download with the updated one and overwrite the old version.

I'd say the gains to the wheel is about the same as the 1.5T (not SI) makes on the crank or wheel, but I'm not sure until I do a dyno run.

Dying Breed Strength you can buy those on amazon, and they’re multiple videos out there to show how to install them. It’s not too difficult. Make sure you’re buying the shift knob with the correct thread pitch.
Amazon is the best bet.
Also got the 2.0L Civic CVT So far have the ktuner and just got the catted downpipe today. May get the CAI soon still debating I heard it throws off fuel ratio. ktuner comes with only tune 1 for us. Do you adjust that tune to work with the downpipe and intake? What do you do exaclty? I was thinking that since my car is already flashed with tune 1 from ktuner then if I add these parts they will work the way it should? Thanks!

Once I installed the cold air intake I did get that engine light come on but that was only when I was running regular, the engine light never came on when I was using premium fuel.

Not worth it.
DO NOT GET A DYNO TUNE. If you plan on getting a tune, I'd cut the price in half and if you ask me, get an ECU flash instead (with the Ktuner device) instead of taking it to a dyno because Dyno's typically run $850-$900 USD but the Ktuner ECU flash itself is $450-$475
Get a bigger throttle body and wide band o2 sensors as well as mass airflow

A blow off valve is for a turbo. No turbo on civic lx k20c2
peopole have already done so much to it and it a great engine a few people turbo it.
Who have you seen turbo the K20c2? Ive only found one person to turbo this engine and they weren’t able to get a full tune due to ECU incompatibilities with turbo pressure
