I drive a 2019 civic sport coupe with a manual 6. I can't relate to the "eco" mode stuff, I have a button that disengages it and I drive to whatever shift point I want. When I am off warranty, I'm going to play a little bit with this modern CRX. (I had an 87 CRX Si when I was younger- a manual 5 that was a TON of fun). I understand this is essentially the only 2.0 naturally aspirated civic in the stable-essentially the same engine as the Type R with no turbo. I am experiencing times/power on par with the 158 bhp figure stated in the comments- So I'm pleased to see these passes at these numbers. I am wondering if you have any advice on where to look for a turbo/ecm flash/wastegate/downpipe/exhaust for this awesome little Honda? I've been busy raising my kids since my CRX, and this one may end up being my oldest daughter's car someday. Thanks to all in advance: I may begin making my own civic videos due to the fun factor of this car!
Having a k20c2 I can tell you that this engine is nothing like the type R. In fact the ecu on this car can’t be tuned to read boost on the k20c2. Don’t get me wrong I love this car and it’s engine but if boost is something you’re looking for then atm your SOL. Not only would the internals have to be forged but there’s the issue with the ecu not being able to be tuned for boost atm, injectors being too small and a few other things. This car is better kept stock or with a few bolt ons and a tune like they did here. Not saying you can’t turbo the engine for low boost like maybe 5-7 psi, but you just won’t be able to properly tune it. You’d have to go standalone, and at that point the rabbit hole is too deep and you’re better off buying an engine better fitted for boost or a whole other car entirely. Either way good luck and please do make videos of this project. I’m sure the k20c2 guys would love them including myself.
@@Chiefgamerzero couldn’t agree more. Mine’s going to stay looking stock, with a few subtle touches. The c2 will never be the c1. I kinda like that too. the k20c2 is PGM-FI, not DI.

You would probably make 200 whp if you upgrade the front pipe, since it tapers down to 50mm after the flex section.
what is the front pipe? the downpipe?
Aldo McGrath there is a downpipe that connects to the front pipe that has a flex piece on it and then it connects to your cat back exhaust.

The tuner really tuned that thing lean at wot. It was close to 14:1 afr almost the whole time. That’s way too lean for power.
