Excellent video. Seeing that "Timbavati Picnic site - do not feed the bushbuck" sign at 15:39, I can remember a few years back an old guy feeding a bushbuck close to that sign!
Next level videography and editing. When I saw this video in my inbox I thought:" Man, this is long, I haven't got 37 min now" And then I started watching...the time flew past. I am also going to make a coffee now. Thanks for the time you put into this.
I am a New Zealander completely enthralled by your videos. I have explored much of Kruger from the Phalaborwa, Malalene and Crocodile Bridge gates. It is another world inside Kruger. The human race lived and evolved in this African environment over hundreds of thousands of years. The African bushveld is home to every person on the planet which could be why it affects us so deeply.
I could not agree more, sir. I've been to Africa three times. If I died there I would die happy. The cradle of our species does indeed exert a strong pull through the ages.
Wow! Such a treat to have found your channel! I’m loving this & the music you pick compliments your videos so well! I’ve been watching the clip with the angry elephant bull many times already. The music & the footage is insane! Thank you!!!
Your videos are absolutely amazing. The graphics, the narratives, EVERYTHING. I've been following you and watching your videos for a while now. HUGE fan
Ed, I came back for another look at this video. I hope to return to S.A. and Kruger in the next few weeks. Even though I am in the UK (from NZ) Kruger feels like home, it seems familiar yet I only visited for the first time in April this year.
Each and every video you create is unique, I could watch them over and over again (which I already have). Amazing footage, great content and just breath taking. I just love how you capture every animal, bird, insect etc. such high respect and appreciation for them all. Thankyou Edward for another 'goosebumps' episode.
From Botswana and I am stuck in Aussie because of this pandemic :( Your videos legit keep me going! Can't wait to visit home and go on these adventures again. Well done Ed! Stay safe and enjoy your adventures! :)
Thanks for sharing, brings back not only the amazing sight and sounds of Africa but I can recall the smells too !! There is nothing else on this earth like it. Loved it !!!
I just discovered you channel just over a week ago and I am hooked. I plan to go back to Kruger next year but after watching your videos I plan to camp, thanks bro.
35:42min absolutely breathtaking. You have put a luxury standard in your work. Besides a great picture, you have made an excellent selection for the sound track on all your films - you make it effortless for one to watch. Another place I saw a man put his heart so in a wildlife film is in 'Safari of my Life' by Klaus Tiedge - RIP. Greetings from Kenya 🇰🇪.
Another great video Ed which we thoroughly enjoyed. The quality of your video and presentation is outstanding. We are looking forward to the next episode. Keep safe. All the best Karl & Alison
Absolutely brilliant as usual. Fantastic to drive down those familiar roads with you even though I live in NZ now. Thanks so much for sharing your heartfelt love of the bush.
Hello Edward cheers and greeting from Manchester UK.Lovely careful photography. I'm enjoying the birdsong and sittings,eg Hornbill ,doves,.I ve visited Zambia,Zim,Tanzania and Botswana, but not yet Kruger...or wet season.Lovely elephant and somewhat reassuring to see Mother nature bringing rain to rejuvenate...the evening barbecue...and a Lion beer ? .The magical early morning always brings hope ,excitement🐘🦓Manchester bee 🐝 for you
Great video again. Edward Bath Overlanding, 4x4 Ventures and Get Out Go are keeping me excited for our northern gate to southern gate Kruger overlanding/camping trip in May next year.
Fantastic episode, just got back from Satara a few days ago and did the Mananga 4x4 trail, nice easy trail but really nice as the trail was ours for the day.
What! You can’t just slip in a throw away comment about being engaged (my fiancé bought it for me…”. All the very best to you and the soon to be. Oh, and I too could live in the Kruger. Thanks for yet another spectacular story told. Awesome!!
On the northern side of the Letaba bridge is a marker that indicates the water level back in, I think it was '81 (we lived just outside Letaba camp from Apr 82 and it was just before we got there), when the water was 6ft over the bridge.
Another fantastic video Ed! Some great shots of the wonderful birdlife and that Bull elephant was a thing of wonder. However the highlight for me was "SaltiCrax" - they'd never sell in the UK - sounds like ... yes well I'd better not say it, and the thought of a salticrack and brie cheese! Priceless. Keep up the good work.
Share your passion for the bush - stuck in NZ for 2nd winter due to this damn covid nonsense - next year for sure. Thanks for sharing - it keeps us going. Watched all the others a few times over.
If we as a collective world do not do something to right the ship of all these power hungry politicians time is going to be gone…you can make and lose money, but time is limited.
Ed, you make me so happy seeing all my old haunts, thank you! One thing I don't remember is so few trees in certain areas, miles and miles of grassy openess. Can somebody help me with some info?
What an awesome video Edward, you have outdone yourself with this one. I wish my travel videos were 1/10th as good as yours. We just got home this week after an amazing two week stay in Kruger that we didn’t think would happen given how difficult travel from the States is right now but we pulled it off. Thank you for taking me back if only for a few minutes. Now I have to wait two long years to our next trip but at least I have your videos to help tide me over. Looking forward to seeing what you think of Pretoriuskop in the coming episode. Cheers, Joe
Thank you for your amazing videos, it’s awesome to travel virtually with you to awe-inspiring places! Is there a chance you can label some of the bird life you see?

Tuskers that were common in the 19th century and before. That's awesome Ed. To quote what Wilbur Smith wolud call that tusker "Plough The Earth."❤
Even without much animals the landscape is humbling, shows you how small you are and how urban kinda makes you think like a gold fish in a bowl
I just discovered you channel just over a week ago and I am hooked.
I plan to go back to Kruger next year but after watching your videos I plan to camp, thanks bro.
Thank you so much bro!
You are an amazing videographer and narrator Ed. Truly one of the very best videos of Kruger park that I have seen. Thanks!
