I'm very fond of all your videos. Your Mapungubwe one triggered in me the will to go there, which I did last year in September-October. It was fantastic: not the best time of the year to see lots of birds, but I saw lions, many elephants and elands, and the landscapes are awesome. I often go to South Africa but it was my very first time at Mapungubwe. I wish I were a professional like you. I content myself with shooting and editing amateur musical video clips mainly with birds, but also other animals seen in South Africa. Your videos are an example to me and a target I will never reach. Please continue to make us dream !
Well Done!!! The LONGER THE BETTER!! THIS IS THE BEST MEDS BETTER THEN RESL MEDS I EXCAPE CHASO WATCHING THIS SO CALMING PEACEFUL! YOUR A PIECE OF MY SUNSHINE CALMING IF PEOPLE WOULD JUST STOP AN ENJOY REAL BEAUTY CALM THIS WORLD WOULD BE MAGICAL!
Hi Edward! My husband and I, we are very happy by have found your channel here in the TH-cam. We are brazilians, but South Africa lovers. We've been living in Centurion,Pretoria from 2017 to 2019. Congratulations by the quality of the your videos, your comment always very relevant and the fantastics images that you makes of the wildlife, landscapes. Wow...We miss to much your country. And your videos makes us happy! Amazing!
This is spectacular and making me miss home so much. Immigration hasn’t been easy but your videos give me some home away from home viewing. Thanks for the great vlog!
wonderful video, the sights and sounds of a lush green African Bush brought back so many memories, I could almost smell it 🤗... those morning sounds... amazing stuff😎
Edward, mate, Such a wonderful vid! You've covered all my bases, great views, great wildlife, great commentary. But mostly, the birds, mate. Their calls are so haunting, so beautiful. Thank you. I'm sitting here in Auckland, huddled up against the fire because it is freezing. But my heart is warm, mate. Warmed by the sights and sounds of Africa. Thank you for sharing. God bless, Dave PS Please give my regards to Chris when you see him again.
Thank you so much Dave! The bird sounds will always go in because there’s nothing like it that’s for sure 🙌 thanks for the constant support! I will certainly do that, god bless
Every time I watch one of your episodes I become emotional due to the extraordinary scenery, the sounds of Africa, the information shared, you’re knowledge and passion! I miss South Africa beyond words but your videos make me feel that much closer to home! Now we just need to somehow invent ‘smell’ through technology so we can smell the potjies and of course the African wildlife/bush air!! Thank you
I remember playing that Penguin game on the console where you had to avoid the holes in the ice (Antarctic Adventure). That helped me prepare for driving in SA.
"Too-may-toe" paste and diced "too-ma-toes" 🤣 What a cool trip! One day when Im back home, it'll have to be done! Thanks for sharing Ed. 38:27 Cant believe you bumped into a parliament sitting 🤣 🤣
Suberb suberb The sounds macic the sounds all sounds animals Commebts SUBERB . Feels like paridise. You as human cannot imagine how calming how wonderful this episode was. Lookibg fwd to punda. I came across Edward's channel right at the start. Aim for high quality work right from beginning was clear - besides sharing camping knowledge, the production quality is one thing that I've always appreciated; superb filming skill and great sound for home experience - you've set the bar high. Greetings from Kenya 🇰🇪.
Absolutely superb video Ed. We are really missing the Kruger which is our happy place and we were due to visit again this year. We now hoping we will be allowed to travel from the UK next year but at least we have your videos to look forward to. Take care
Hello Ed. I was wondering when I would see you again. I am thrilled to see you pop up in my feed. This is truly my favorite place. Your video has done it justice. I plan to visit in September. I am struggling with long covid so no camping. We will be staying at Limpopo Tented and Vhembe camp to take in both sides of this truly wondrous place.
Ah fantastic video Ed, thanks for this one. We are booked for Mapungubwe in Jan 22 so hope (1) we can get there from EU and (2) would love to see the rivers in flood as you have done! 👍👍
Hi Ed and Chris. Wonder if you guys are aware that 500 years before Van Riebeeck discovered South Africa (Cape Town), Mapungubwe was a thriving African Kingdom. Apparently it lasted some 200 years after which likely drought and over gracing made it unsustainable. The tribes moved North and started what's now called the Zimbabwe ruins. One of the biggest tribes, the Khama tribe eventually relocated to the West. Hence the late Sir Seretse Khama that governed Botswana.
Hi Edward, my wife and I enjoy your videos very much, thank you for the interesting entertainment. I have one question, please, where can we buy the stainless steel upright kettle you use while camping? Thank you. Regards
Hey Paul! Hope you are well, I’m just checking here and it says that you need my email address for the PayPal link and then I confirm it from my side, is this correct?
Sorry Ed but every creator on TH-cam that I support has a PayPal link. Why would I, the supporter put up a link to my account - that doesn't make sense, does it?
😂 good old South African potholes. You’re tyre shop makes bucks off the wheel alignments, maybe that’s why they don’t fix them, (South African conspiracy theory 🧐)
While you're camping and staying inside the Park Elephants lion's and spotted hyena's these wild animals try to attack? On you're camp If any problems arises while you staying at the camp? Anyway Highly Risky process closely watching floura and fauna travelling on the dusty and bumpy mudded roads it's very challenging task

Is that pothole road the R36 or R34, we drove both on our way out of the kruger last week, nerve wrecking in a car or small suv
Not sure which one it was but all of the roads up there are like that unfortunately 👎 very nerve wrecking

Where's the PayPal link Ed?
Hey Paul! Hope you are well, I’m just checking here and it says that you need my email address for the PayPal link and then I confirm it from my side, is this correct?
No - you have to put a link from your site to your bank account.
I thought you'd already set it up?
I have already set it up because Patreon pays into the PayPal account but it doesn’t give an option to share my bank details off the site?
Sorry Ed but every creator on TH-cam that I support has a PayPal link.
Why would I, the supporter put up a link to my account - that doesn't make sense, does it?
Hi Paul, sorry for the confusion, here is the PayPal link, thank you so much for the support 🙏

Hi Ed do you have an email address to chat on regarding Botswana please.
Thank you regards Steve.

Hey bud can't make sense fo what you are trying to say. There are no lions at blouberg
