  • Hey y'all! It's been a long while since I made a video for y'all...thanks for stickin' with me and being here today!
    In this video, I "interview" two very lovely ladies from Under the Sun podcast, Aileeah and Irene. We discussed doing hard things, instilling values and investing in your family and also in yourself, and the balance of momming and a career, how they stay involved with their babies and how it can still be a joy. And loving what you do!
    They had some incredible insight and encouraging words from their own experiences.
    I hope y'all enjoy them as much as I did! Please leave your comments as it both encourages and strengthens others. We all love hearing each other's stories!
    Here is a link to their podcast;

    There is no job more important than raising good kids. It can be hard at times but, as you said, you can do hard things. And I can't think of anything more fulfilling. I greatly admire all 3 of you.

    I’m a first year homeschooling momma. My little girl is 6 and very bright and just my absolute world. The Lord convicted me to His will and homeschool and we just finished up our first week of school and it was better than I imagined it would be. This time I get to have with my baby is so precious and who better to be teaching our children than us? We know their strengths and weaknesses. What I don’t have the Lord supplies me and my cup runeth over. Our children are gifts and being a mother is my purpose in this life and I am truly thankful. 🙏💕. God bless all the mommies and daddies

    Hey, DryCreekMomma. I really love what you've started here and the energy/intent you're bringing with it. It takes time for youtube channels to take off, so please don't give up on this due to a lack of engagement or something. You and your husband are calm voices in the chaos right now, and it doesn't really matter what side of the political fence yall fall on, we need more calm, considerate voices from people with life experience on this platform. Please consider sticking with it. We enjoy what you have to say and at some point your effort here will get noticed.

    I didn't know the desire to get pregnant right away is something of a common phenomena for a newlywed wife. 💝 I am so happy to hear you all championing for You *don't* need to get a degree, and to avoid debt, especially student loan debt. But if you do get debt, the advice to make it a mission in your marriage to pay it off is golden. This was a great discussion, thanks you three! 😍

    This is so timely. This is exactly what I was told as a young woman. Thank you ladies and mamas for sharing the beauty of your life experiences with your children.

    I work in childcare. I'm not a mother, but I do help to raise many children. It is the hardest, loneliest, and simultaneously most rewarding job I've ever had. My loved ones express disappointment in me for picking this career over pursuing a medical degree. I find your inputs very valuable. (I also tell my students that they can do hard things

    Greetings! I'm a girl who wishes to pursue a career in physics, but not for money or respect per se, because I truly love learning and love being curious. I don't know why I'm saying this but videos like these make me really happy because it reminds me that people living simple, frugal lives can be fulfilled too. Researchers never get paid to keep up with the economy, but I look at your simplicity and become increasingly grateful for the privilege I have, that is knowledge and the friendships I forge along the way.
    I apologise if this comes off as obnoxious or if this is the wrong place for me to be saying this, but thank you for making these simple, significant videos! Thank you for being who you are! I hope I can become someone who can lead a meaningful life.

    Momma!!! I love EVERY video you post! Seriously! I want to hear all of it! Any of it! Anything you muster up the will to film, edit, write a caption for, figure out a title for and post- I want it. I appreciate it. I see the effort, and it is so worth having access to your wisdom. So many of us don’t have a role model, and you are absolutely someone I look up to. Thank you for sharing yourself with us! Thanks you soooo much 💛💛

    I'm going to get married at the end of this October and while I'm filled with excitement I'm also so scared! There's a lot of emotions I've been dealing with through the transition of everything and I'm sure the transitions won't stop for a while! But I'm blessed to have such a loving and supportive man - one who I have prayed for! Thank you for this honest conversation - I'm taking in a lot of info as a woman who will soon enough be a newlywed and this conversation was great :)

    Mama! I love your content! Your videos are so encouraging to me as a modern homesteading, homeschooling mom up here in Saskatchewan Canada.
    I know on our youtube channel I am struggling with imposter syndrome and thinking a lot of the time that other people would rather have someone more successful than us to watch on TH-cam, but I keep hearing the message that the people who are your people want to hear YOU, not someone else. I want to hear you. Your wisdom, your adventures, your mistakes, your achievements. Keep making content for me even if you don't love it! ❤ You are making a difference to us!

    I think most of the working moms work because they don't really have a choice to be stay at home moms. Only a few percent of mothers choose to work if they really have a choice to stay at home without having to fight about it. It's many young women's dream to marry a wise guy like DeWayne and be a beautiful wife and mother like Deanna. A huge (huge at least here in Europe) amount of dads can't handle being "capo famiglia" because they didn't have a father figure themselves and think they are being "used" and "set up": not realising/recognising the huge amount of hours and love and effort the young mother and wife puts into the marriage. She is investing her whole self... It's not fair to blame divorces on the mom "not being likable enough" like I heard someone say in the Q & A. I truly appreciate this channel and I actually believe that it fills a gap the modern world needs to fill. My English is far from perfect. I follow you from Italy 🇮🇹. I am looking forward/hoping to seeing your videos around Christmas time. Love and light/K

    Along time ago while visiting my sister. Her daughter was napping I heard some crying, I said um maybe she something she smiled and said follow me we both looked in her crib her head moved to one side and then the other, sis said she ok she is dreaming. At first she run in and pick her up oops now she's awake, finally she figured out they do some fussing while sleeping dreaming 😴.
