They are so beautiful and couldn’t decide which one is better. Looking at the homes is restful. and they make people dream of another lifeI. ’m looking forward to seeing your new videos. Tack så mycket.🏘
The Gothenburg apartment, compared with the one in Stockholm, offers a larger livingroom (including a dining table) and a spacious bedroom, has higher ceilings (allowing taller windows), and is placed in a more pleasant urban context (as much as I could understand from sattelite and street views). The weak part of its layout is the entrance and kitchen areas, narrow and difficult to furnish, which reflect a possible compromise in solving the corner of those two streets (possibly different development phases?). The Stockholm apartment, in a more modest building, although adding a second bedroom, loses almost 20 sq.m. However, it features well-defined night time/daytime spaces and practically groupped kitchen and bathroom. Its hallway, although larger than in the first example, is penetrated by multiple doorways, leaving little space to function well as an entrance hall. Also, it feels that the wall between the kitchen and the balcony would need a window, even small, close to the balcony door, for a couple of reasons: correcting the long, empty wall of the balcony itself and providing a balancing feature to generate an axis with the entrance door. The need for the latter is actually visible in placing that glass cabinet aligned with the entrance door opening. In the end, the Gothenburg apartment is my preferred choice. Well done presentation!
Hi, thank you for your comment. It’s clear you have an eye for detail.. :-) I agree with you on the layouts of the apartments, a lot happened in that area over those 30 years that is between when they were built. The apartments became more suited for family life and practicality with bigger living rooms and smaller bedrooms, and the importance of daylight and how the sun moves through the space. I alsa agee with your point about the window in the Stockholm apartment, it is a nice touch if you can see the outside straight through the apartment entering it.
They are both lovely, but because of the surroundings, I would probably go for the Gothenburg one :) Thanks for sharing!
Thank you, yeah, it has more of a city vibe. :-)

Love them both, offer different ways to live - especially love the views from each - thank you!
I agree, the view is important :-)
