I was able to visit the beautiful city of Stockholm in 2015. Almost 10 years later, the magic and thrill of Sweden has never left me and will always leave me wanting more. My Swedish host family told me that the most beautiful time of the year is the midsommar or midsummer festival. At this time, everyone heads over to the countryside and be at their summerhouse, relishing the natural scenery, away from the city noise. I hope and pray that I get to visit Sweden again with my family and let them see how beautiful and breathtaking the country is.
So good to get away to such a calm and beautiful place, you both seemed to enjoy every moment. It occurred to me as I watched how very much alike we all are as human beings. Our daily lives have a lot of things we do that follow similar rituals, and similar heartfelt emotions. A very lovely film in beautiful Sweden, thank you some much for sharing your days. Watching your vlog for the first time.....that's my kind of vacation too! Relaxing by NOT joining the crowd to explore as many tourist sites as possible. I love taking it slow and easy, and exploring places where there are more locals than tourists.

Hi! Greetings from Finland! A very nice video, and nice to see that Finland and Sweden have so much similarities. 😊 One tip though: you don't have to wash strawberries or other berries here in the Nordic countries. They are ready to eat as they are. 😊 The taste is not as good if you wash them.

Actually, all berries, fruit and vegetables should be washed with baking soda. In Sweden are especially the strawberries heavily sprayed with pesticides and people are becoming more and more aware and opt for organic when possible. But still, even with organic you should wash your berries, fruits and vegetables. Ever heard of the dirty dozen and clean fifteen? Dirty dozen are groceries you should avoid non-organic and clean fifteen are the lowest sprayed groceries. Yes, we have pesticides in our food too, not just America.

В серо-зелёных глазах моих страсть,
осознающая близость момента,
в коем хочу только с нею пропасть,
свиться в одну шелковистую ленту.
А за окошками звёздная высь,
утяжелённые ветки под снегом,
белые ткани, устлавшие низ,
и молодая январская нега.
Белое платье висит на двери,
будто бы колокол на колокольне,
словно синоним недолгих вериг
или берёза под инеем в поле.
В свадебной спальне гирлянды горят,
жажду мою освещая цветасто
и привнося в меня праздничный лад,
мило мелькая то редко, то часто.
Вмиг позабыв про вино, кожуру,
вдруг я её в полумгле обнаружил:
плавненько шла по цветному ковру
влажно-нагая и в каплях от душа...
