@@CeciliaBlomdahl I have both digital cookbooks which are great. I don’t have a computer or tablet so have to view through my phone. If you ever put out a book format I would definitely purchase. Love you all!
That's so awesome to have a front-row seat to Belugas as they cruise by your cabin while you sip your morning coffee. In the Pacific NW in Washington state, USA, I've seen our resident Orcas that live in Puget Sound, as well as Gray Whales, Dall's Porpoises, and/or Minke Whales over the years while sailing or hiking, but never right outside my front door, as I don't live close to the water like you and Kristoffer do. You are so lucky to be blessed with that!🐋🐬
I’m American, but my parents were both first generation immigrants from Holland. My mom always made rhubarb cobbler, very similar to how Christopher made the crumble. She called anything with the fruit on the bottom/dough type addition on top a cobbler, and anything with the dough on the bottom and fruit over it was a pie. 😃 Not sure if that is an American thing or Dutch thing? But it sure always tasted good!
Good morning/afternoon/evening. I'm so glad to see a new video. You guys are so chill and you've built such a great life for yourselves. I want to comment on the captions being hard to read; light text and light background is tough. Anyway, thank you so much for sharing the cool place you live!

I always look forward to your videos and of course Grim!! Have a great week from Pennsylvania USA 🇺🇸
I love Rhubarb pie, crumble, it’s so good. I came from England but have lived in USA for 361/2 years. I enjoyed watching Christoffer in the kitchen today. He is so very handy around the house fixing things and cooking. What a clever man he is. Oh. Your audio book arrived on my apple. I did order the book to see the picture as well. I have MS for 9 years at Christmas. Left me in a wheelchair and several other conditions. my eyes don’t work as well to read so that is why I have to listen to audio now. Love to you all and keep warm. Big hug to Grim 🤗🦮❤❤❤xxx
So enjoyed spending the day with the three of you and vicariously enjoying your lovely food. Brown cheese is a new one for me here in Dublin but rhubarb and other fruit crumbles are a staple here in Ireland and the UK.
I really loved this video. I think it’s especially revealing of a specific culture to experience the food, the dishware and the way in which you prepare the items. So fun! Thanks Cecilia!
I lived in NYC for a decade and seriously missed bugs, slugs… any ‘proof of life’ ( apart from cockroaches). Beluga whales over breakfast are something else entirely.
There are lucky people and there is Cecilia watching beluga Wales while having a coffee on her balcony.... that my friends, is another level of luck! ❣️❣️❣️😍😍😍
0:49 we had this weather in Switzerland the part I live in, from mid February until end of June😵💫this year!! Every day rain, rain, rain. No summer day to go swimming, cold lakes. Never seen before! We had 1/3rd of the sunshine as usual. July/August seems to be a bit better though.
It's good to know there are still authentic people living real life who don't have perfectly clean spotless beige pots and pans just because influencers show these to us. I really enjoyed this video and I love Chris' cooking and how chill and cozy your day was P.s. greetings from Poland 🤎
Wow....This is the most I have seen Chris actually in the kuche and cooking!! One can see he is a pro at this. You guys are great. And you have a geat life. Thanks for sharing your cold cloudy days.
Cecilia! Thanks to you, I tried cracker bread for the first time. I had it with cream cheese and smoked salmon. It was so nice! I'm on the hunt for brown cheese! Thanks for the great suggestions 😀 All the best from 🇨🇦
Honestly, i can't wait for polarnight. I love seeing darkness. I,m no summer person and i can't stand the heath very well. I,m from holland i don't mind moving to Sweden or close to it to have colder temperatures in the summer. Anyway.. it's always a pleasure to watch your videos! Thank you and please give Grim a big cuddle, he's so cute!!
Svalbard is Norwegian. Not Swedish. The languages are similar enough and Sweden too is a NATO member now, so the legal differences will likely be blurring more and more between those two countries over the next few decades.
Cooking with Kristoffer!!!! And he is so very calming and chill. I just love your channel Cecilia! I haven't even gotten started with Grim. I love him. Thanks for another view of your life on Svalbard.

Beautiful landscape, fog whales, ocean. I also love rhubarb custard pie, crumble, jam, pretty much anything. What that cream you pour over the top? I sometimes eat it with vanilla ice cream. Grim is so beautiful and fun to see in each video. Thanks to Christoffer for the food demos! Really liked his sweater with the flags. How’s his man- cave btw? Thank you all for another great video!
I’m amazed that your meatball recipe and the rhubarb crumble is the same way I make mine . Although I never had a breakfast like yours , we eat eggs and bread toast . From USA Midwest
With the exception of sweet goat cheese, which I've never seen in Israel (we have white goat cheese from France), it's the same as an Israeli breakfast. Israelis don't do pancakes, but Russians do blintzes, it's similar, we have frozen ones. My mother made rhubarb with strawberries, but not in a pie. Shalom, Aviva in Akko

Also your cozy home, adventure and cooking videos are so comforting to me as I’m pretty lonely with my current living situation. So glad to see you and Christoffer and Grim doing well ☺️🖤
Christoffer needs an entire cookbook! LOL Thanks for another fun video!! Already looking forward to next week! 🤭😊
They made a cookbook already!
We have two Cooking with Christoffer digital cookbooks on my website! www.ceciliablomdahl.com 😊😊
@@CeciliaBlomdahl Two?? OMG, I thought you guys only had a Nordic baking cookbook! I'll check out the other one!😊
It's the same in Australia - fruit on the bottom is a crumble, fruit on top is a pie or tart
it's almost never a dutch thing because they don't have or invented anything, certainly not in the cooking department
Good morning/afternoon/evening. I'm so glad to see a new video. You guys are so chill and you've built such a great life for yourselves.
I want to comment on the captions being hard to read; light text and light background is tough.
Anyway, thank you so much for sharing the cool place you live!
Please ask Kristoffer to post his recipe for the meatballs and the gravy! That dinner looked delicious!!!
Best moment in this fun day-in-the-life video: Christopher lighting your fire with a chef’s blow torch! Love my Sunday time with Cecilia, Chistopher and Grim!! 🐕
Svalbard is absolutely beautiful!! So is Grim!! I love all the love you give him. He is such a good boy 🥰 Your food looked amazing especially the meat balls! I was surprised to see Christopher with the rhubarb. I thought that was pretty cool. I loved watching you guys cook together. It was fun and very entertaining. You flipping the pancakes lol.
We always called Wasa "hardtack" 🤷🏼♀️
It is delicious especially with bondost or vassterbotten cheese and Goteborg. ❤
Can you please give me an idea what kind of cheese you mentioned? We have hardtack here, but what to put on it?
Rhubarb crumble with custard…all of your meals looked delicious. Christopher’s healthy eating is showing.
You see beluga whales from your deck in the morning? I stepped on a slug in my bare feet taking out the trash.....🤣
lol 💎
Omg! Cracked me up….😂
I lived in NYC for a decade and seriously missed bugs, slugs… any ‘proof of life’ ( apart from cockroaches).
I really enjoyed this video and I love Chris' cooking and how chill and cozy your day was
P.s. greetings from Poland 🤎
I was feeling down this week and Sunday afternoon I found your new video and it really picked my spirits up Thank you
Wow....This is the most I have seen Chris actually in the kuche and cooking!! One can see he is a pro at this. You guys are great. And you have a geat life. Thanks for sharing your cold cloudy days.
Crisp bread with sliced tomatoes and crumbled feta cheese and a little olive oil and salt. Delicious!
I buy lingonberry jam here in London, love it. Rhubarb crumble is a very common dessert here too.
Love the whales right outside your door, beautiful.
I love your energy and enthusiasm, and Kristoffer sitting next to you like the coolest dude.
Hello from Texas to Cecilia, Christoffer & beautiful Grim!!❤️❤️❤️🇺🇸🇺🇸
Good morning! ☀️
I love your videos. They are like a meditation to end my week. I also enjoy watching Christoffer cook. I need his recipe for the meatballs!!
LOVE to watch Christoffer in the kitchen....
One of my favorites! Lingonberry💜
This video was perfect....very chill vibes. So appreciative of you sharing your life with us all😊 hope your week is very good!
Thank you for letting us share your day with us, so relaxing. Can’t wait to visit Svalbard this February.
Oh, how I love watching your videos! Fun to see what you eat and watching Christoffer cook is priceless. He is a very cool dude.
Direct translation "vanilla sauce" so custard in English, I guess?
I love that you and Kristoffer share your lunch with Grim!! ❤❤
Your video just makes my sunday complete❤
Loved today's show with all the yummy food! It all looked so good! It was great to see the Belugas so close to your cabin! Bye from Scotland! 🏴
Always love watching your videos!
I think Cecilia Christoffer and Grim are living some of the best lives on earth 🩵🩵🩵
Great video with you three, love it, and food of course! ty
Shalom,
Aviva in Akko
OMG! Rhubarb, when Christoper pulled out the rhubarb, my ears and eyes perked up! My husbands favorite pie is strawberry rhubarb pie!
Ny söndag och ny vlogg från Cecilia 👋🏻💐
I love watching Kristoffer cooking. There's something calming about him
Super relaxing, thank you!
I'm so glad! 😃
Cecilia - your editing skills are so phenomenal! I always enjoy how you present your stuff. Thank you for the beautiful, relaxing video. It's my Sunday favorite!
