Fear and darkness start to clouds your mind, as the flame in your hearth begins to dim. But then, you remember who you are! You give one last prayer to Myrmidia as the flame burns bright one last time. You pierce your lance into the coutless Skaven hearts with holy frenzy! But, the flesh is weak. You begin to lose conciousness, as the Skaven drag you down from your horse and start to eat you alive...

I mean, handgunners with pistols are basically a melee unit for the Vamp Coast. They've got decent melee for a ranged unit. Don't have armor penetration, but they can snipe light air units or light units like dogs, marauders, etc. and then on top of that, you can put them in front of your teams with rifles and the pistoliers since they rock a pistol and sword will stand a proper chance in melee with rifle support. Or grenade support, which is the usual tactic. Queen Bess usually is how you handle that, though. Gunnery Wight, Queen Bess, Rotting Prom guards and a three-stack firing line down a hill.

Damn I really hate how enormous they made Heroes and Lords. I wish they had an option for more immersive Lord sizes and just shrink down the appropriate Lords down to normal unit sizes (leave the large ones large though)
Even without knowing you were gonna ruin trolls, wouldn't a bright wizard be better for that comp due to the extra -25% fire resist or whatever it is while casting and by extension you get flaming sword and whatnot and fire storm? i play on smallest unit size becuase i like that style, and i have to say small vs ultra is super diffrent for the wulfhart legendary hero, very very very difficult on small vs lizardmen.
halfway through watching this i wanted to play an Empire vs. Wintertooth game and focus on fire damage. I played against hard AI and regenerated their army until i had the perfect army. I picked The Huntsman General as my general, alongside him there was a bright wizard and 4 units of huntsmen When the battle begun Throgg charged forward (Because the AI is Retarded), i oil flasked him, then fireballed him to get that kindleflame debuff, i then hail of fire'd my 4 untis of huntsmen. It took one volley to kill him. One. Fucking. Volley.

So why is it that zombies of pirate vampires can shoot/aim all of sudden? The missing ranged in Vampire Counts was because of some lore reason of zombies not being individual (unlike the skelies of the tomb kings)
Wait when did they add this bracing stuff? I remember in Warhammer 1 everything would go flying for just about any charge no matter if the unit was braced or not
Even back in warhammer 1, I feel like bracing was still a thing. The unit just needed to have charge defense against large, like most spear units and dwarf warriors.
