They also would have paid for any investigation and experts necessary for the defense of the case. 2. The judge had no authority to sentence anyone. A personal injury case is a civil matter, not a criminal matter. The judge would have had to refer the matter to the prosecuting attorney. 3. The judge had no authority to affect the lawyer's license. Only the state bar association can do that.

If something like that happens, the first case is dismissed then a separate case can be open by the DA if he find that there’s enough proofs to criminally charge someone. Even in civil cases where you can counter sue someone who is suing you, you can’t have a verdict against a third party that was not part of the original case. That’s why I think that most of these stories are fake AF.

If you were driving and hit someone your auto insurance would pay. Too many people do t insure themselves properly with a lot of liability coverage. Even more turn down having an umbrella policy that extends your liability.

This is a fake story. Judges can't just sentence people not on trial to jail. All the judge could have done was dismiss the personal injury lawsuit and recommend the district attorney to pursue a criminal case against them.

It seems odd that three people were sentenced to jail without due process. It wasn't a criminal proceeding against them but a civil one against OP.
Agree, this is not how it works. If something like that happens, the first case is dismissed then a separate case can be open by the DA if he find that there’s enough proofs to criminally charge someone. Even in civil cases where you can counter sue someone who is suing you, you can’t have a verdict against a third party that was not part of the original case. That’s why I think that most of these stories are fake AF.

1. Prison sentences of non Defendents in a civil trial. (lol)
2. Judge summarily suspending a law license.
3. This heroic husband working himself literally to the death to save for his wife... but he has $10 million.
4. The lawyer is also a superhero genius litigator who convinced the "non perp" witness to tearfully confess on the stand... instead of just hiring a private investigator.
If this wasn't just a creative attempt to make more content (kudos if so), then the husband is the actual abuser. Classic case of begging strangers to believe an ego soothing lie.

fake story, the judge in this case could not preside on another case where Boris and hank are prosecuted in the same trial. Story would have been believable if the case had been dismissed and Boris and Hank had been arrested and charged.
