      The story doesn’t make sense that he both had a 10 mil nest egg and felt compelled to continue working a strenuous job to provide financially, after finding out he was dying, instead of spending time with the woman he claimed to love enough to work himself to death for.

      Because it isn't a true story. Ether it's creative writing to have more stories to tell (no shade; I appreciate the effort); or OP made it up because he's a wrong doer looking for masses of stranger sympathy which is what abusive men tend to do. Have your lawyer hire a private investigator, trail your ex-wife, not the opposing lawyer Hank. Your ex-wife being tailed by your lawyer's investigator, will lead to the both of them together on dates, kissing and her going upstairs to Hank's expensive condo. Then leaving in the morning. Let the private investigator contact the plaintiff on the street, and let him know that he can be in a lot of legal problems. Showing him photos of your ex-wife and Hank dating, and kissing. Advising him if his sham of a lawsuit is not pulled, criminal charges will be filed.

    Mallory was kinda stupid, as is Hank. I mean... A question asked to Boris would've been, "What were you doing on my driveway?" Usually, people don't go onto driveways. And it's a DRIVEWAY, so... Yeah... OP wouldn't be going THAT fast, even if the driveway was long as he claimed. Hardly road speed.
    As for Boris... I honestly don't blame him. I mean, the man was homeless, so he was just desperate. I don't think he held a grudge towards OP, just that he wanted to have enough money to not live on the streets. So... I think Boris was just desperate and got dragged into this situation. Fortunately, the dude was honest, and I think he won't have a rough time in jail. Had he not been so desperate, I think Boris would've just refused outright. If I were OP, I'd consider putting him in the will, just to make him know I forgave him.
    Mallory and Hank, again, they weren't desperate, and deserve to be in prison. Pushing someone when they're down is SO CRUEL, and they got what they deserved. As always, play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Although for Boris, sleeping in a prison cell is plush compared to sleeping bin a doorway. OP got the best revenge by going into remission and getting married to a loving women.

      Hopefully not. It's likely that he learned something from his first marriage, and the selfish, deceitful nature of many women, particularly many (but not all) modern-day Western women, and when he moved to a different State, where nobody knew him, upon meeting his new wife he was likely very reluctant to share exactly how much money he had, as even with his first wife, he had the wherewithal to keep the inheritance a secret (thankfully).
      It is true that some people never learn, but since we don't actually know this person, or really if this is a factual account, or just a fictional story, one can only hope that if it's true, he is wiser, and the new wife is a decent person. Thank God my wife of nearly two decades is old fashioned, and has loved me the same regardless of how much or how little money I made. Women like her are a rarity...especially these days.

    This is a b s story for many reasons. 1. He did not have to hire a lawyer. His insurance company would have hired the lawyer. They also would have paid for any investigation and experts necessary for the defense of the case.
    2. The judge had no authority to sentence anyone. A personal injury case is a civil matter, not a criminal matter. The judge would have had to refer the matter to the prosecuting attorney.
    3. The judge had no authority to affect the lawyer's license. Only the state bar association can do that.

    This is a fake story. Judges can't just sentence people not on trial to jail. All the judge could have done was dismiss the personal injury lawsuit and recommend the district attorney to pursue a criminal case against them.

    Hard to believe one would try working harder when there is life Insurance to handle things once he’s dead.
    Also hard to imagine working harder for more money when you have ten million sitting aside.
    I don’t believe this story.

    It seems odd that three people were sentenced to jail without due process. It wasn't a criminal proceeding against them but a civil one against OP.

    • @Pintosonic
      @Pintosonic 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Agree, this is not how it works. If something like that happens, the first case is dismissed then a separate case can be open by the DA if he find that there’s enough proofs to criminally charge someone. Even in civil cases where you can counter sue someone who is suing you, you can’t have a verdict against a third party that was not part of the original case. That’s why I think that most of these stories are fake AF.

    • @C.Church
      @C.Church 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      @@Pintosonic I've gathered all the holes others found beside the one I did:
      1. Prison sentences of non Defendents in a civil trial. (lol)
      2. Judge summarily suspending a law license.
      3. This heroic husband working himself literally to the death to save for his wife... but he has $10 million.
      4. The lawyer is also a superhero genius litigator who convinced the "non perp" witness to tearfully confess on the stand... instead of just hiring a private investigator.
      If this wasn't just a creative attempt to make more content (kudos if so), then the husband is the actual abuser. Classic case of begging strangers to believe an ego soothing lie.

    Ops ex wife snd the lawyer she leftbop for got exactly what they deserved. Just for the heck of it op should sue his ex wife and her lawyer boyfriend. Their lies and greed bit them in the but and now they have a criminal record following them for life and the lawyer lost his license and most likely wont get it back. As stated earlier op should sue the lawyer and take his condo.
