Thank you for this video man I have had my sister 2003 sitting in the garage because I never got to ride it when I was growing up much because it never ran well but I just cleaned years of sitting there with gas in it and wow it took forever scraping it all off the inside of the carb but now i still have to change the spark plug and everything else but this was a big part thank you
I cleaned my same carb 2 times now more in dept than you showed in video and it still idles fine but when your give it more gas slowly it revs up and then dies if you give it full gas fast it just dies.I know its the carb because I pulled another one off another bike and the bike ran fine. Any sugestions please help. Keep making these videos.
My son's brand new klx110l never liked to idle from new and progressively got worse along with cold starts. I had put a splash of Stabil fuel stabilizer for the winter in a full tank It left a yellow oily residue all over the inside of the carb body, jets and float. The fuel looked like dark urine. The slow idle jet was completely blocked and I tried every chemical and wire to clear it and . So I replaced the OEM 40 pilot jet with a 42 and the main 78 with an 80. Cold starting and idling issues are a gone and I sure as he'll won't use that fuel stabilizer anymore.
Hey buddy. very informative video thanks alot for taking the time to do this. Could you inspect the idle jet and clean without removing the float or you would recommand to do the whole procedure?
Does the hole in the center of the idle jet go all the way through? I've got an older 110 and I cannot get a copper wire through it to save my life! Surely it's not that hardened and clogged? Did older models have a different idle jet for some reason?
hi! I have a friend with a 2016 KLX 140. It sat for a year. The gas got nasty inside the carb. We cleaned it got all the gunk out. but now when it starts up. it dies if we don't hold the gas. We must have turned one of the screws or messed something up. Would it be the idle screw or something else? Which screw do we need to turn? If we hold the gas it runs fine. as soon as we let off it dies. Please help thank you for your great videos! We just don't want to turn more screws and make issues!
They assumed we know alot about how to do this. Most of the time his hand was in the way. The skipped the "time consuming" parts. This Discount revzilla channel is really shady
I have a 2003 drz 110 and when I rev it sometimes it dies and also when it idles it will start to go down to a low idle and die, if you know how to fix this please tell me
Hey really would like for some help so I have a yz125 1982 was wondering which parts may fit it? If it has to be same year? I’m new to this and also it pops and fires has spark and compression just will not start any help would be appreciated :)
You can check the surrounding years to see if the part numbers match. I'm not sure how long they did that specific version. Start with a carb clean and air/fuel adjustment.
Ninja 87 do everything but engine and tranny work yourself motorcycles and cars atleast try before you hand someone 300$ of pure profit for them but pure loss at your pocket, then charge people much lower rates once you start good make it a side grind bruh
Just bought a 2015 klx 110 and When I open the throttle all the way the bike shuts off...When I open it slowly it revs normally. What needs to be adjusted on the carb?
Partzilla I cleaned the carb when I first bought it and it idles fine and also rides fine so it seems like the pilot jet and main are clear. I was wondering if it just needed a air or fuel screw adjustment
That sounds to me like your floater needs readjusting there a little metal tab that keeps your floater height over time it’ll bend and do that same thing to a bike
I need a lot of help. So I’ve been having problems with my klx 110 idling. The bike was running completely fine a couple of months ago but now all of a sudden It dies if I’m not constantly revving the bike and while I am revving the bike it backfires and sounds very unhealthy. I’ve done everything I could think of rebuilding and cleaning the carb completely, changing the spark plug, and using completely new gas in the bike after draining out all the old. Please help I’m really at a dead end here.
All of that points to carb. You can do a compression test to verify the cylinder, but that all sounds fuel related. Go through the carb again, jets, tuning.

awesome thanks man. i just cleaned my honda 400R carb and now it starts just fine.
Awesome, Manny! Glad you got her cleaned up and running again. We love getting comments like this; thanks for letting us know!

Btw ty for help! I am just a teen and i did it for myself, I can nothing about motorbikes and this helped me!
Super helpful - thanks!
How much do u screw the jets in
Hey buddy. very informative video thanks alot for taking the time to do this. Could you inspect the idle jet and clean without removing the float or you would recommand to do the whole procedure?
When it comes to carbs, I always recommend just cleaning the whole thing, that way you don't have to do it twice.
Does the hole in the center of the idle jet go all the way through? I've got an older 110 and I cannot get a copper wire through it to save my life! Surely it's not that hardened and clogged? Did older models have a different idle jet for some reason?

Adjust your idle screw to give it more fuel at idle.
@@PartzillaParts Idle screw is on the outside at the bottom correct?
Yes, the little flat head knob.
Wish you would have showed how to put the choke on instead of guessing we knew
DGAFM VLOGS I know right that’s the hardest f**king part I just spent an hour on mine on that one little part cause my cable is frayed
common knowledge
They assumed we know alot about how to do this. Most of the time his hand was in the way. The skipped the "time consuming" parts. This Discount revzilla channel is really shady
tsleel escappa he also must of assumed you where smart enough to know that “alot” is spelled “a lot”, you fucking idiot 🤦🏻♂️
I have a 2002 klx 110 what’s size jets came from factory? The main jet and the pilot jet? Thanks
I have a question the inside of my exhaust is missing it's all pipe and it get on my nerves any suggestion
Yes. Get a new exhaust. Or just buy that non-flammable white fabric that goes inside. Don't remember what it's called
Thank you so much I got my dirtbike working and it hasn't been started in 5 years
Awesome! Now get out there and ride! Thanks for watching.
Nice video!
How do I put the choke cable back onto the carb?
How do you know how tight to drive the pins
so is there a way to put fuel filter on the inside of the tank
eBay outside of the tank before the carb
I have a 2003 drz 110 and when I rev it sometimes it dies and also when it idles it will start to go down to a low idle and die, if you know how to fix this please tell me
Traditionally, it's something fuel related. Fuel line, dirty carb/jets. I would run through the carb, fuel filter, lines.
Did you put gas.... Or spark plug

Partzilla ok thank you 👍🏻
Wait, this is what my dealership wants to charge me $500 for?
OMG I will never buy another motorcycle again.

Just do it by yourself, i have a klx110l and im 14 years old and I change oil and clean the carb easy, I like to do it.
Don't be an idiot - Just learn to do the simple stuff yourself!
process similar for '17 KX 100?
The carbs are different between these two models. The process is similar, but it won't be exact.
Just bought a 2015 klx 110 and When I open the throttle all the way the bike shuts off...When I open it slowly it revs normally. What needs to be adjusted on the carb?
Probably just a clogged jet. Try giving it a run through.

CarAholic86 fuel screw adjustment..

Partzilla ok thanks! I’ll check it out on my next free day
Hey partzilla, i have a kx250f 2007, would this be the same process of cleaning it. Thanks.
The carb may look a little different, but it's the same idea.
Partzilla ok awesome thankyou
Its bigger carb and remember where u put everything and theirs more parts in their and don't lose your needle
Wish my 250f didn't get stolen 😓
Will this work on a 2003 kawasaki klx110?
Should be similar
Can you put bigger wheels on your klx110
Anything can be done if you try hard enough.
Thanks
Please do a klx 110 engine rebuild!!!!
You're in luck! Three years later, we're finally... FINALLY... doing just that!
Had to tell what you are talking about or referring to
I just put in a new carburetor but now my KLX 110 won't rev past 1/4 throttle without suddenly sputtering and losing all acceleration.
What brand carb
What brand
I flipped my dirt bike upside down ( on handle bars) had it there for maybe 10-20 mins , now it won’t start .. it’s a klx110
Won't start is pretty vague. What's it doing?
thanks so much
Thanks mate.
You're very welcome, Tonkachow. Thanks for watching!
