Lost a G1 Optimus prime and Ultra Magnus along with so many other G1 autobots in a storage container in Cape Coral Florida that i hung on to for 30 years. Makes me weep when i think of it. the loss of the auto bots was more severe than the divorce with my wife at the time

I bought a KO sunstreaker and I must have gotten lucky as everything is superb on it paint and joints wise if put it up against a real one in a quality test anyday. Your collection is awesome I love it . I wish mine was as extensive

I've got all the G1 Transformers from 1984 to 1986 (and most of 1987), but I only have a few Masterpiece Transformers. I'd love to have more because they're awesome looking toys - but you know how it goes when you start running out of space for cabinets and shelves.
That said, I do have a KO Masterpiece Prowl and it's a fantastic looking toy. It was also pretty darn cheap - less expensive than most of the original G1 and reissue G1 versions I've bought. I'd buy more if I had the room; they're excellent representations of the comic and cartoon versions.
Great video. Love the way you display your Transformers. I saw a custom Arcee G1 box online which looks awesome. I wish it was for sale.

Third party is something I've never really been to into, but I've been more and more interested in Iron Factorys stuff because the pocket sized bots were always my favorite scale for a while. They're also giving us a Death Cobra figure and that is a cool thing to see.

I had a original Jet Fire as well bought for me from my grandmother and complete Die cast. gone to the storage wars
Some were re-released in the UK/Europe, Japan and Australia in 1990 some of these are missing their moulds

I have all those Ko autobot figures. They’re not bad once you put some Toyhax stickers on them. That’s the one thing they didn’t make good was the decals
At first I had many reservations about KO figures. Then I got 3 statues of Dark Souls, KO from the Banpresto originals, I was surprised by the quality of the details, while the plastic was quite fragile I had no complains. After that I got a Figma Goblin Slayer KO and a Yorha 2B KO.
I only own one Takara masterpiece and it’s sideswipe I have a few of the KO masterpiece Lamborghinis
They have a few flaws but all in all for the price you can’t really complain they look great next to each other
I’m in awe of the masterpiece style mini bots. Those look great, and why Takara hasn’t done those totally mystifies me.
Yeah they could have cranked them all out quickly, but they've focused more on the real life licensed cars for the 84/84 Autobots.
Toyhax has an amazing label set for that Open & Play Springer. It's very worth it and makes that figure pop!

I used to have that kind of room until the day came for us to move into a smaller rental housing then my collections ended up in boxes and in storage.. 😢
Also if anyone found a mint shape original Metroplex,,, that was in the container as well.
I can remember when I was a kid. I would see these odd knock off brands of Transformers. One I remember was a Devastator knock off. He looked just like the original except he was ether yellow or orange. I would usually see these in drug stores for some reason.
I actually have a G1 Top Spin knock off from south america somewhere. He is red, and their is no actual flip up function. Other than that he is pretty cool.
That's funny because Hasbro did both a yellow and orange version for G2, knocking off the knock offs. That'll show 'em! 😆
Where did you get those mini figures of spike and co. that fit in the G1 vehicles? I want those!

Just got a ko sun streaker, bumblebee, and wheelie from temu. Sunstreaker is cheap but bumblebee and wheelie are awsome
Xtransbots made the 3p cliffjumper i bekieve. Attempting to watch as well as comment lolz. Any fanstoys figures in your 3p shelf? And Primus shall provide. Fanstoys Outrider Hitch and Willis are Trailbreaker Hoist and Hound. Love their Dinos. Recommend their Rig Hunk aka Huffer and Btawn and i could think of several more lolz

Where’s a good place for KO G1 transformers
I have two ko G1 optimus prime but their head sculpt looks really off compare to original. also one of the leg is dangling. Arms are loosing too, I actually manage to use glue to fix leg and arm issues. Also for KO there is a metal clip that will scratch the arm when transform to cab. I polish it a bit to fix them. Get the sticker from toyhax as the one come with KO is really bad and not sticky. I feel like you paid what you get.
Beautiful collection. I agree with you the 3p trailbreaker and hound are better than the official. The hound neck armature is unforgivable for both aesthetic and fragility.

Another company reissued Infinitor in metallic colours. Can't remember what it was called though. It might be a cheaper option if they never reissue the original.
@@MichaelMercy yes, it was zeta toys, showz has sold out of that one as well, hopefully a KO of it comes out, since the prices on eBay for this figure are really high. Thanks again Michael 😎👍🏼

The Fall Guy truck is an official 1/18 one that was released a few years ago. It's terrible! 😆 So many breakages right out of the box, one of the poorest quality things I've ever seen. The Ferrari isn't an official Magnum one. Just a cheap one I found on eBay with black seats. Doors don't even open, but it looks nice enough just sitting on a shelf. Hard to find one just like Magnum's with tan seats in 1/18.
@@MichaelMercy Just done an eBay search - that Fall Guy truck is pricey! Especially for something badly made! Found some 1/18 Ferrari's with tan seats too, but they're not cheap either! Maybe some day...
Dx9 did powerglide called it Richthofen (Red Baron) and they were knocked off I have it it’s shocking hahahahaha
I think the G1 ko quality have drop i got a Grimlock from 2013 and its super stirdy compare of the same ko g1 reissue from now !!!
knock off sounds appropriate because they knock off the logo insignias and name to keep it safe from copyright

Some official transformers are as bad if not worse than the KO versions for plastic quality at the least . My Hasbro mp09 Hotrod /rodinus I darent even look at in fear it falls apart on me again . I replaced both arms a few years back that both fell off from me picking it up and moving them ! Just ridiculous
KOs are great. Gives me an opportunity to collect at reasonable prices...its just plastic
