My truck came with four step running boards which I don't like. I removed the steps and left the rail. I doubt the rail will be much protection, but it looks a lot better.

The rail is not sturdy enough for rock crawling.

I put mine on today.they look good but only complaint is they have spots where powder coat is missing.

Do not use these as actual rock sliders. Actual sliders hook to the frame, these hook to the body and can tear up the body if you bounce of a boulder.

Yeah not for full weight sliding but much better than nothing.
