You probably mean having something delivered immediately on the same day, which could only work in Berlin. But you can order anything online and have it delivered to your home, you can also have vegetables delivered to your home. If you buy your cultural food at the Asian market anyway, then you save yourself a lot of time buying it online.
You could also look into hiring someone on 450 euros to do the shopping for you and share the monthly costs. Some food can also be bought at petrol stations, which are open 24 hours a day.
I would also like to say something about Germany: the bureaucracy will improve thanks to AI. It is also being considered that foreigners in sought-after professions will have to pay less tax, but the population is against this. Since many employers are urgently looking for academics in various professions, some often offer help in finding accommodation and other benefits, such as free rental cars or canteens. You also have to know that in Germany there are +-30 days of vacation, plus you can pay your employer for 5 days of educational leave per year, with some employers you can save up and take 10 days of educational leave in the second year. Australia: 18 weeks paid parental leave, approx. 740 AUD/week. Germany: Up to 14 months parental allowance, 300€-1,800€/month depending on previous earnings. Germany: Rich cultural scene with numerous museums, theaters, concerts and festivals. Australia: Cultural offerings available, but less diverse and dense.

Ya, I meant by having it instantly delivered, like in an hour or so :)
I hope bureaucracy and other things do get improved.

Raising kids is easier in Germany. Childcare is high quality and far cheaper than in Australia, you can find in Germany many playgrounds, many sports clubs, very good public transport which enables kids to be less dependent on their parents time, many nice public pools with slides and diving boards.
The health system is far more efficient too and children see a specialist paediatrician as a rule until they are 18 years old. Speech therapy, occupational therapy all for free.
But to become happy one should put the effort in to learn the language. People aren’t hostile at all but it makes life much more enjoyable when you can understand each other. I have raised my children most of the time in Germany but also some time in Australia. In my experience Australia is by far the less child friendly country.
