It is sad that Ben has moved on, he will be missed, loved his creativity. I attended a W chair making course at Axminster training centre many years ago . Jason, Colwin and Ben provided us with great support. I have a lovely Windsor chair and fond memories of those days.
Hi Bob, in all honesty that was one of my forstner bits and not supplied by Axminster. I'm ashamed to say it was quite blunt. A sharp forstner would have no problem on such a small piece at that speed.
Well done, Steff, you did a great job, and the Gentleman Woodturner has a very soothing voice.
Thanks for your kind words
Teaching as it should be taught, and learning as it should be learnt. Well done to both of you.
This was so much fun to film. Steph was a brilliant student, and Colwin did a grand job on the cameras. I on the other hand was a bag of nerves...
It was a pleasure having you with us Mark, thank you so much for joining us! Glad you enjoyed it 🙂
You need to also start doing audio books....... you have the gentlest, most soothing voice I've ever heard, could listen to you talk all day 😁
Super Steph and Fluffy, great duo, great video
Well done to both of you for a delightful and informative video, and also for Colwin on camera, great job
Well done Mark and Steph
Nice job Mark and Steph, some great information for the beginner turner. New job now Colwin, Chief camera man.

Great video well done Steph and Mark. Cheers. Mike.
Ps ... if it was me it would surely have flown! 😉
RE boring with the Forstner bit at 29' - it seems that the rpm of 1200 is far too high- as evidenced by the smoke. I would bore that at 300-500 rpm.
