    First off you look gorgeous! I love the top
    Second, thank you for the lovely shoutout
    And lastly, what a great longevity, supplement routine. Does Gary take any of them? My husband refuses everything in powder form but if I put his pills out he will take whatever I give him

    Make sure you are well hydrated before you try to get blood. Drink lots of water, no caffeine as it dehydrated you. For magnesium I just ordered a soak from Living the Good Life Naturally as it seems you can absorb way more this way. They reference cell saturation, which is something you will not reach using a supplement. I haven't tried it yet, so I can't speak to ot but was intrigued enough to try it and I already take magnesium supplements as well as using a spray nightly.

      That sounds good - thanks for the tip 👍
      Ooh a soak, that sounds interesting. I never really take baths but maybe I should rethink that 🤔

      @Skin Obsessed Mary it's actually a soak for your feet, altho apparently you can do your body too.

    Does your Rx from the doctor contain K2? I think it's important to take with D3

      No and I've heard that. I guess I need to find some K2 elsewhere. Any suggestions?

    You are better off getting your calcium from food . also need impact exercise such as hopping on one leg 50 hops on each leg every day. Also need vitamin k2. You should read up on osteoporosis. You definitely need impact exercise !

    • @SkinObsessedMary
      @SkinObsessedMary  ปีที่แล้ว

      So true! I do get regular strength training exercise and eat a lots of calcium rich foods. I'll find a way to get K2 back in 👍

    Do you think NMN is better than taking NAD supplement? Im not sure which one I want to start but I do know I want to add one of them for the exact reasons you are talking about.

      To be honest, I really couldn't say. I'd maybe ask your doctor? I started taking Do Not Age after doing my own research and found it the best fit.

    I take them TOO!😁 NMN+TMG & CA-akg and my dad take’s NMN+TMG and he is still thanking me because he feels his youth coming back and his glaucoma has slowly gotten better. Oh! and my husband started using it too and he doesn’t need to drink that much coffee anymore and he is recovering fast from workouts my husband takes 1.5 grams as my dad too. I only take 1 gram because I get too much energy which I don’t like🙃

    I’ve been wearing a weighted vest for about a month now. Chalene Johnson has a video on it. I wear it on the treadmill, running errands & doing household chores. It’s supposed to be great for bone density. Hav you heard to take thee TMG the night before do it’s replenished the next day when you take the NMN? Thanks!

      It's been on my list of things to pick up. Did you start on a low weight? May I ask where you go it?
      And no...I hadn't heard about taking TMG in advance. I must ask them about that.

      @@SkinObsessedMary I got it on Amazon during Prime. They’re heavier than you think. I’m pretty muscular and work out 6 days a week. I bought myself the up to 10 pound vest and the 11-20 for my husband thinking I could work up to that one and it will definitely be a while. I think the brand I bought is Zelus. Watch her video. Yes please ask them about taking the TMG in advance, I saw another TH-camr mention it.

    I always liked the suplements world 🙂 My favourite collagen suplement is the Ingenious Beauty, loooove it. I quite like the concept of the LYMA suplement as well, just it is too expensive for me 😢 Oh, the suplements from the Pharmanord are good too 🙂

    Before you do a finger prick test wash your hands vigorously in quite warm water. The heat will make the blood pump better. Also I've heard that calcium supplements can be quite bad because the calcium can collect in the heart instead of making it to the bones. I've heard the best way to get calcium is to grind up egg shells after boiling your eggs. Dr. Westin Childs has a video on that.

    • @SkinObsessedMary
      @SkinObsessedMary  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you - I'll try that!
      Hmmm, hadn't heard that about the calcium...definitely looking into it 👀

    Great list of when and with what to talk your supplements. Why you stopped with the D3, K2, MG capsule, I don't get. The 800 IU D3 with the calcium, is nothing. It's 5 000 IU in the donotage combo. And that is D3 on the low level to get higher leveles of D3 in the blood. The bare minimum of D3 is 4000IU to have a small chance of elevating your D3 in the blood - where you really need it to be. 10 000 IU is preferable. Over 4 000 IU you want to supplement with K2 at least twice a week to protect the calcium in the bones. So skipping the K2 is not that good for your osteoporosis. Take both the donotage combo and your CA-D3 tablet - and your way better off.
    And one more thing. You take your collagen in hot coffee - that's supposed to be a bad move. The heat brakes down a lot of the collagen and it basically becomes just gelatin. Collagen is best consumed at body temperature or lower. Take it with cold water, an ice latte or something like that. Just as long as it's not hot or too acidic (which coagulates it).

    • @SkinObsessedMary
      @SkinObsessedMary  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That is very interesting about the D3, K3, MG. I think you're right and I'll add that back in. Means I don't have to use separate MG too!
      Also interesting about the collagen in coffee. The manufacturers aren't saying that 🤔

    I would have regular blood testing from your GP done while taking that many supplements.I had to reduce my supplements because my liver enzymes were high. No one could figure out what was causing it. No one supplement has the side effect. That many supplements can cause the liver to work too hard.

    Do you take a probiotic or a daily vitamin in addition to these supplements?

    • @SkinObsessedMary
      @SkinObsessedMary  ปีที่แล้ว

      At this moment, I do not. I have raynaud's disease and can't take iron so that rules out most daily vitamins. A probiotic would be a great idea though.
