Hello. I’m 67. I’m in love with the Tower 28 tint. It’s super light and glowy. It’s in a squeeze tube. It has a great SPF. I pair it with Neutrogena concealer which works surprisingly well. I’m going to try the Tower concealer. While at Tower, go for the mascara. I’m using the brown one. It’s really good. Builds length quickly, thickens a bit, and does it quickly. Who has time to pile on coats of mascara.
Thanks for sharing! I'm 58. Like you, my mature skin is dry and I don't like heavy foundations. I love Nars Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer. It is just perfect! I also wear Dior Forever Natural Nude when I want just a tiny bit more coverage.
I love Seint and I am more oily-skinned, early 60. Never thought it would work. I’ve tried probably 50 different foundations of all types. Seint is the best of the best for me. The bronzer named Bella is a superstar.
Thank you for mentioning that Seint will no longer have an MLM model. I've unsubscribed from YT influencers who supported Seint, the MLM in the past so glad to hear they are changing their way of selling. Thank you for the great tips. I have similar skin so I'm always looking for foundation that doesn't dry me out or look too thick. Lately I've been using Cover Girl Clean Invisible Foundation and am loving the consistency and how it looks on my skin.
I found seint 2 years ago. I haven't looked back and every time I do try something old or something new I go back to seint. I do have to say it has been a long learning curve. But I'm glad I kept trying. I'm also glad you're getting some darker shades. When I saw your video with Michelle I was kinda surprised at the lightness of the shades you had. Sarah Martin (the contoured chemist) is really smart abt seint stuff. I learned a lot from her.
I'm always surprised that Zelens never gets a mention, especially by those who love great skin loving ingredients!! All of their products are created to include lots of ingredients that are excellent. That said, I never relied on makeup to provide the skincare OR the SPF that are included in a product. The reason being, any skincare applied on top of the skincare and SPF I've already applied, would have an impossible job of penetrating through them!
I used a lot of Zelens back on 2021. The Youth Concentrate was PHENOMENAL! Looks like it's called something different now. Must check them out again. What are your favourites?
I’m thrilled you mentioned Sculpted by Aimee. I’ve been purchasing her products for over a year on line and actually got to get to her store in Carnaby this summer.
Hi Mary! I am like you-would much rather have my skin show. My favorite foundation is Dior forever skin matte however my bottle is almost 3 years old and still half full because I don’t wear foundation often. It doesn’t smell so I am not tossing it yet 😀 I picked up Ciele sunscreen/foundation this summer at Sephora and I love using a tiny bit over sunscreen to even out my complexion on days I care. It is SPF 50. I also love the stick bronzer from Ciele.
Have you tried the new Elf Soft Glam foundation? I wouldn't wear it everyday, but when I want more for going out, it's the perfect balance of natural coverage, not too heavy, gives a bit of matte but nothing cakey. My new fav!
Very interesting at how skin changes. I had used Bare Minerals tint for years but as my skin got very dry it just wasn't forgiving. I also have very reactive skin, I do use the ELF Halo that you did a video on it. I do like that but when I feel like I need more moisture I started using Clinique Moisture Surge. You made me want me to try some of these. I do like makeup that blends also. You give a lot of information, I love following you!
Thank you so much 😊 I'm still using the Halo...it would have been number 6! I too was Bare Minerals since my 20s and just couldn't wear it anymore. Sad face 😞
I have yet to be able to wear foundation because of my freckles. But a sheer one that doesn't feel like I'm wearing a mask might be nice one of these days. I just don't feel like I need it yet. 🙂 But what I am in love with, is your skull charm!!!!!! 💀💓
