hahaha, vegan ... depressed much... your veggies, sprayed with pesticides, even organic... do not have much nutrients... but WHATEVER... people are stuck in their ways and they want to enjoy their lives... we are not sheep or COWS...
We are what we eat. We are not plants. We are animals, we are made of meat. We should eat meat and animal products and eat as little plants as possible.
@@jorgecastillo6128 Your risk for heart disease and cancer increases with the more meat your eat.
LOL look at the bags under his eyes and the wrinkles on his skin. Clearly working 🤣

No fortified foods adds Magnesium so what does that tell you? They do add B Vitamins and Iron but never Magnesium or Potassium.
Pls don't produce vids that are as long as possible instead focus on your subject and present solutions (if possible) to the listener without talking circles.
Right, I prefer to get straight to the point with less word salad.
@@mhaas281PATHETIC!! The body is very complex...This is free info and yet you are criticizing. I love that he is giving me all the details for why I should take vitamins and minerals.
Hello DR. Mark, respect your work but disagree on excessive D supplement and iron deficiency, instead retinol and bioavailable copper are the real deficiencies. Please interview Morley Robbins, his book “cure your fatigue” changed my life!!

Big profit margins on supplements.
1000X more profit margins from the health care system when you get sick...
ozempic? cost 1$ to make, sold at 1000$... yeah.. supplements are expensive, right, compared to BIG PHARMA GREED

People, NEVER start taking a supplement after watching some random guy on TH-cam. Always consult a doctor first.
Mark Hyman is not " some random guy", he is a physician who has extra training in nutrition. In the United States most physicians have no training in nutrition. As Dr Hyman says, it is best to test and see what deficiencies you have.Forinstance, I need fairly high levels of B12 supplementation to achieve therapeutic blood levels .
Most doctors don't know much about functional medicine
@utubewillis24
Doctors don't get any nutritional education period! Their job is to prescribe meds, NOT to get to the root of the problem. Taking the right supplements From a reputable source Is helpful for good health, longevity and vitality, But of course for anything absolutely critical, there are times medical intervention is necessary!

For sure! Last year my bloodwork was terrible. I'm not overweight, but ate a normal American diet. High ldl, low hdl, high triglycerides. My md told me to lower cholesterol foods, eat less red meat and eat less saturated fat and recheck in 2 months. I did that and everything went up, tg to 333. Thank goodness I found Mark Hyman, Casey Means and others. Changed my diet completely. My hdl went up 25, ldl went down 35 and tgs to 74. My md asked what I did. Told him I'm eating a high fat, low carb, high cholesterol diet of mostly whole foods!
This man speaking in this video has zero credentials and zero qualifications or Ph.D in nutritional biochemistry so he should not be giving out diet advice to the public. Would you get dental work done by someone who has no license or experience in dentistry?
Most Westernized doctors have very little training in nutrients.Medical doctors treat patients with prescription drugs.
@@rhbarbs The reason doctors don't get nutrition training is the same reason they don't get training in how to read and write and stay fit. It is assumed that they learned how to read and write and do exercise and eat the right food when they went to public school grade 1-12. They teach all three for 12 years in the public school system.
There are 8.7 million of species, what types of Vitamin D have they been taking for the last 4 million years? In 1826 President John Adams was 90 and eating pretty good, what types of synthetic Vitamin D and K2 and other such nonsense was he taking for his entire life?
I'm ready for another political stunt. Where's R.F.K. Jr?
Mark HaYmAn, you don't look healthy yourself so YOU taking about HEALTH doesn't make any sense and that's why you have 82K views all this time. As a Jew to Jew, friend to friend LOL, find out and take care of your health if you want viewers. PEACE to Israel
