@Navimj hilight the timeline on the bottom of the track window where the little numbers are.it should show a hand when u hilight it instead of the mouse arrow.then scroll upward with the roller of your mouse and it will zoom in the waves of your recorded tracks.then line it up with with the desired spot and you should get it on point.hope this helps.
I do Not and I say Do Not Suggest that you Use 32bit as your mixing as 32 bit (Unless its a Floating 32 Bit) is for Mastering and Making Beats most vocals depending on your sound card are a Standard 24bit mixdown with a hz ratio of 48000 or 44100 most new sound cards do 24bit older sound-cards 16bit unless your using an M-Audio 2496 or 192 in that case Use 32bit

Dude quick question... I can never get the vocals alone. Adobe automatically merges the instrumental into the vocal recording as soon as I'm done and I have no idea how to split the two or just prevent this from happening altogether. Your help would be appreciated!

I tried that capture profile option and it just makes my track sound mad low.....IDK what to do with that? any advice?
I know I'm mad late but when you pick capture profile, you only had to high light a silent part of the track (one with out vocals) before doing so

Because your track is still 'armed' probably. Make sure the R of record is not red/highlighted in the multitrack panel.
