@@ifeelhalfnaked484 hard to be balanced in spots he's not typically in, not accustomed to sizing in big pots and can't blame him how many 2000bb pots are u ever gonna be in
Think this is a major point. In Durr’s hand the fact that be didn't bet larger seemed buffy. If he's got AA then he's targeting KK and QQ because that's where his value is at
Sample size of two though. Not enough. He could easily have several turn sizings. He was aware enough to attempt the same physical mannerisms. So he's likely aware enough to not be only betting a single size when he has it and when he doesn't.
TBH this is why I hate having JJ or QQ. Very good starting hands in the top ten but very very hard to play when someone is betting like they have KK or AA. Wesley is betting like he has KK AA. I'd rather have 9 9 in this situation because it's an easy fold. Wesley is a good player because he know if he bets big it will look like he's bluffing and that's exactly what the Artist did.

Great example of balancing out your play-style, bluff shove & value shove, both are the same. But, this is also a great example of why playing like Wes will most likely leave you “balanced” when you play against good players. “Balanced,” meaning you win nothing & you lose nothing, you’re left with winning the money you lost.
Wouldn’t it be a slight tell that Wesley has something when he lays his head down in this hand? He did that last big pot when he was bluffing. Would he do that exact thing again with another bluff? Just a thought
Not really similar. He was betting 3 streets and then got jammed on for 5x the last bet. I am sure he would have called down similar bets as this giving him 3:1 on the river.

@@lightningsoulde don't get me wrong, I'm sure that's not an easy call to make but he worked it out, it was a busted nut flush draw. He also could have checked the river and caught the bluff, if Hank had jammed without the 200k initial bet then it's a fairly easy fold but my guess is, Hank would have checked the river or put in a decent sized bet which could be called.
@@andrewfathy4212 yeah for sure.
