Loved that wry smile when JT re-raised her aces. That was not a poker face. That was a look of pure joy. I've lost so much money with AK, I'd probably just call LL's 5-bet instead of jamming.
I know Deegaf isn't know for his spot on analysis but more for his humor and being jovial - however saying LinLin QQ was an AUTO call pre is pretty wrong. You call off 25% of your stack to check fold flop? And if it comes Jack high and then you still get raised or face an all in with QQ what changes?? So you basically go set mining with the 3rd best starting hand vs 2 psychos with huge ranges.
Enjoyed how you broke this down. I was thinking something along the lines similar but when he said that he had me thinking at I giving away money by folding pre. Glad to see someone agrees it actually sometimes makes sense depending on your opponents
Yeah, I think you need to make the decision to jam or fold preflop. If they've got AA or KK, nothing changes. If the flop comes with a single A or K and they stab at it, you're abandoning a lot of money already invested if you fold. By chance she actually got a dream flop making it look less likely either one had an Ace. Especially after they checked through twice with 2 flush draws coming.
Is it me or Linglin have big pairs lol, anyways that shove with AK is pretty sus, could've called got away from his hand on the flop, or stick around and bluff a flush on the turn/river even though she may call, hard to fold that hand.
There are a lot of excessive compulsive people playing poker. Why do so many of them have to sit and play constantly with their chips? That would drive me crazy listening to that for as long as they sit there.
JT forgot he had someone behind him who raised first. We've all been there, we try to isolate a guy we think we have beat and then we get the bad news from rhe initial raiser.
jesus is that shuffling of the chips irritating . i would not make a good poker player because i could not tolerate the stalling , constant bantering and background noise of the chips being played with like mental patients in a hospital that skipped their meds
It doesn't change the odds, but it reduces the variance. The behind player gets a better chance to scoop at least half the pot, and the ahead player drastically reduces their chance of losing an entire big pot. It's an agreement between players still in the hand, and either player can say no thanks, run it once only.
@@viperion_nz correct, players might even run it three or four times always with unanimous consent for each pot. If some players have a side pot they can run it multiple times just for that side. Never in tournaments only cash games. It can happen on any street once all players are all in. If a flop already came and then they jam all in, they can deal two turns and two rivers, like alternate realities for half the pot
