Exactky what we need. No music, no talking and just extremely nice road and an extremely nice car with an ambiance!

Wish I had roads like this near me. What a raw experience!

Flung my 2015 BRZ into a bridge a couple months after getting it. Wasnt speeding, just put my foot down in too high of a gear on a wet road and paid the price, over corrected my steering and then panic braked. worst thing i could do, but you live and learn. not sure if RWD is for me, or whether i should get another one, i do severely miss it though, best driving car i ever had, nothing can compare the feel good you get from it.

Great that you learned from the experience and I dont think you should bar yourself from getting another fun rwd car as long as you can be responsible with it 👍. Taking some skidpad/drift lessons or doing some HPDEs will help you get a feel of the limits of your car.
After doing a lot of track days through the years I really have no desire to push hard in the canyons anymore, too much can go wrong.

@@grembal. yeah I've started taking an advanced driver safety course, my instructor is a performance enthusiast but has been walking me through the risks and dangers of RWD and when the car can slip out, explaining lift off oversteer and the different factors that play into it. I told him about all the factors that played into my crash, and which ones I knew were hazardous and the ones I didn't even think about or consider. I don't want to jump back into another one without knowing what I'm doing 100%, false confidence on the road is lethal. thanks for being supportive though man, and I agree, I'm not fussed about pushing a car like that to the breaking point, I'm finding now that driving is more satisfying when you get a corner just right, rather than getting round it as fast as you can. love this video bro, your car sounds good 👍

my favorite road in california, and believe me i drove all of them, all the time. loved taking my fg2 honda civic si and later my e82 bmw 128i mspory 6mt here. just beware of cyclists during any daylight hours..or just go at night 😎

Do you have the ASC (fake engine noise) disabled for these? Or is this the combined sound of ASC and the exhaust?

    • @grembal.

ASC disabled. Sound is from a mic mounted to the rear bumper

thinking about getting this exhaust once i get my GR86 soon haha. How are the cold starts and overall tone? Any drone?

Cold starts - loud for the first ~30s then quiets down a lot. Drone only really happens down in the lower rpms up to ~3.5k and it's pretty bassy, it's been a deal breaker for some from what I've read but hasnt been a problem for me

Where/how did you mount your camera? Nice video

Thanks, it's a GoPro Hero 5 Black mounted to the rear windshield via Telesin suction mount. It's not perfect as any view on the GoPro wider than 'narrow' will show too much of the back seat, but it works lol
