Luka Protulipac but revolver threw his goal away so it does not matter anymore to him. lightning never intended to make all ignis equal by killing them. lightning is the most complex character in vrains. he was literally the reason why humanity was not killed in the future
True, but part of Lightning's goal was accomplished, he didnt want ignis to fight. And revolver never really threw away his goal, he wanted ignis dead, that never changed. He did in season 2 for a moment maybe beilived Ai can coexist with humans, but season 3 made revolver realize that that cant happen.
Luka Protulipac lightning completely failed. his bohman plan failed and his Ai plan failed. nothing worked out for him. s3 revolver chose to leave everything related to the ignis behind before he dueled soulburner. otherwise he would not have tried to support soulburner in overcoming his trauma instead of beating him so he could get the letter. he even lost on purpose by nuking the field. savage could have negated burning draw and violet chimera could not have reduce revolver‘s lp to 0.
@@dariohieras9186 we know that lightnings plan failed that was his main objective however he took down the ignis with him and there permanently dead and because of that ai was not going to coexist with humans and lighting never lost a duel lol. Revolver left everything behind but he was right the entire time that the ignis needed to be destroyed so in a way yes they sort of won.
Yami Marik first to the revolver part. lightning said that he started his actions against humans because hanoi (their tower) were a threat to the ignis. so lightning would have never done simulations on possible results so he would have never noticed that he is inferior and so on. revolver created that threat through his own actions. next to the lightning part. i never said that lightning did not lose a single duel. all ignis being dead was never a plan of lightning. he considered that bohman could lose. so Ai suffering from that by killing humanity sooner or later was another plan of him. but the fact that he told that to Ai did the opposite. yusaku got to know the future, which would never have been possible without lightning, and he saved humanity. lightning‘s inferiority complex lead to his failure. he could have never told Ai anything. the inferior humanity would have died and Ai would suffer forever. this was lightning‘s plan b.

My headcanon for Yusaku's nearly flawless record is his past. After months of physical torture and mistreatment over losing what he believed to be a simple game, Yusaku became afraid of losing. The reason why he never loses is because he psychologically refuses to let himself fail, so he'll never hear the words that ruined his childhood forever ever again. "You Lose."

Having not watched Vrains, this video is really enticing to actually give the anime a watch. The way you explained your reasoning behind the placements of everyone was very well thought out, and easy to understand (outside of some plot points I probably need to see) from a perspective that didn’t watch the show. Nice work!
Thanks so much! Really happy you enjoyed, and I definitely recommend giving VRAINS a shot! I found it to be a fun ride, and Yugioh is always best watched binged! :D
My personal favorite character in Vrains is definitely Revolver which I know is not a very original opinion at this point when it comes to peoples favorites but I just loved his whole arc throughout the show and just had this gravity to him that always got my attention whenever he was on screen weather dueling or not.
Nice list! :) - Yusaku is first for me. Oddly enough, I tought he did show a lot of vulnerability throughout the show in real life scenes and in dialogues that he had with the other characters. My view on his character is that his vulnerability is shown by the fact that he can't lose / is afraid of losing / can't duel for fun / only equals duels with life threatening situations. He's also the character that intrigued me the most. Because he doesn't talk much, I'm always thinking there is more to know (like the Link Sense thing). - Ai is my second. The fact that he was an AI living among humans was interesting to watch and I loved how he started to develop a true friendship with Yusaku (a human). Then I'd have Soulburner for the voice actor and fun duels, Naoki because when he's there, I know we're getting real life scenes (so I'm actually happy to see him xD) and Akira because his first duel was one of my favourites!
@Chaos of madness I can understand those who didn't connect with Yusaku for those reasons :) I just feel that not being able to show emotions or to react with proper emotions is a sign that you're not comfortable with yourself and around people. So I understood Yusaku's lack of emotions as part of his vulnerability but that's only my personal reading of the character. Plus, a lot of teenage boys don't talk or don't express their emotions much for whatever reasons so I didn't mind too much. I agree that the lack of background however was a major drawback for his character.
Awesome list, Dylan! I would've, of course, ranked the characters differently but your motivations make them all logical choices. I personally wouldn't have put BS on this list, but that only for personal reasons, I would probably have ranked him somewhere close to you without them, he's not a bad character by any means. I would probably have to think really long and hard as well to be able to make a proper list (and would definitely not be able to stick to only 10 characters, either) but my top 5 is easy to pick: 1. Revolver 2. Yuusaku 3. Takeru 4. Ema 5. Flame
Personally, Earth was my favorite Ignis. He was the most human: he loved Aqua, he hated social interaction and had an internal battle deciding if he had to fight against humans. It breaks my heart to see him dueling tremendously while finally deciding that he had to fight humans, just to be captured and brutally killed while he screamed “I’m alive!”. 💔
That's fair! Earth has a great quirkiness to him, and honestly if he was around for longer, he could have made a genuine run at top 10/5 for me! His death scene is still tough to watch
My personal list 1st - Revolver 2nd - Spectre. (was 1st all the way until the Revolver vs Soulburner duel) 3rd - Soulburner 4th - Playmaker 5th - Kusanagi 6th - Lightning 7th - Flame 8th - AI 9th - Go Onizuka 10th - Windy
I do agree; Blood Shepherd is a great character in my opinion and I would put him in my top 10 list. His mini story arc from episode 76-80 really grew on me and his character. Wish he had more screen time and been a rival to someone. Plus, his Drone deck is awesome and would love to see it printed.
Another good thing about Aoi is that when she wasnt part of the main plot for a long time, she wasnt a anime copy of Lorraine MCfly like the manga version of Yuzu
Xander Sheriff it was a reference to Back to the Future left me explain in the manga of arc v Yuzu fell in love for Yuya who was a time traveller But in the end she Met a younger version of Yusho, Yuya's dad
Revolver case is like seto kaibas they want but can't defeat their protagonists in their shows seriously the rest rivals did defeated their protagonists at least once (by the way Chazz defeated jaden in the manga) but kaiba and revolver no lol
Im too old for this .-. If you make Kaiba's deck without any actual support Yugi Will Win without plot armor, i know this because i built their decks in several ocassions and objectively speaking Yugi will always be better. You know why he lost? Motivations, he had NONE. A duelist without a motivation, without a true reason to fight is nothing. Sounds cringey? Of course it does but its the way anime works, Kaiba was a ruthless ahole cruel and egotistical. During their Battle City duel, Yugi plumetted him to the floor and to date the way things turned around are still enjoyable to remember i felt no plot armor during their duel. For example, Want plot armor? If yugi had set the trap card to discard your opponent's hand, when he used exchange he would have won easily, not to mention Kaiba had exclusive anima broken cards during thst duel while Yugi didn't, so their Battle city duel would have been a lot shorter. Now, Jack is a pushover and did deserve to lose to Yusei. Kite is basically undefeated, Reiji's loss against Yuya feels weird but overall a decent and fun duel. Revolver and Playmaker were pretty much Even. Both speed duels ended up in a Tie, their First duel was so epic and Yusaku managed to turn the tables and i didnt feel any plot armor. Revolver is in my opinion overrated.
@@promisnwekenta9703 I respectfully disagree. While there are some weaker characters, generally most did serve a purpose and motivated other characters within the story.
@@frostreaper2311 the purpose they served is just not really great. All this "we all die so the main character can defeat the villain" is just predictable ane boring. The characters are likeable, but just not developed. They honestly have little purpose. This series way to much made this "only protagonist can defeat villain" trope. Other series gave other characters either the villains friends/allies or something else useful, but besides revolver vs soulburner in season 3, other characters were enhancement talent. As you see, when the story sucks, the characters as well.
Aoi is my favorite charecter and number 3 in my rop 5 1] Ai 2]Revolver 3]Aoi 4]Akira/Kusanagi 5]Yusaku My thoughs on Aoi: Well one of the things people seem to forget about VRAINS is that Aoi actually had the most solid charecters development. Everyone is pointing to her failures however even in defeat you can find something. Aoi in season 1 was a great bounce to Playmaker specially when they where both infiltrating SOL Tech. The dialogue between them and there scenes where really well done and it showed Yusaku both a partner he can trust in the field of battle and also Aoi brought a lot of light to him. I think the introduction of Soul Burner messed up a potential to see Yusaku and Aoi become friends but we got to see her story as well. If you think about it VRAINs really showed a contrast between Yusaku and Aoi that was great. Like Yin and Yang. We saw Yusaku who followed a path of vengeance and hard battles thinking he was along fighting for his vengeance while he win the duel it led him down a path of pain. When it comes to Aoi we saw her issues clearly laid out and we saw her grow. We saw her care and we saw her accomplished her goal. Meeting Playmaker gave her the wings she needed to fly from her sadness. Why well the fact Yusaku appeared as playmaker launched Aoi into being more proactice and even showed how smart she as she suspected Yusaku was Playmaker on episode 6 [firt meeting] hence why she wanted to see his deck after seeing his dueldisk. Aoi went from being protected to protecting and fighting for her own sake and her brothers sake. We saw her decide to do things by her own volition that was followed by a difficult path of defeat and pain,.but she persevere. She did do something and that was move forward. The theme of VRAINs is to move forward and Aoi did move forward while Yusaku also moved forward. They both experience two different paths. Yusakus path was the cost of winning battles that lead to suffering and pain that allowed him to make peace. All while Aoi experience the path of losing and finding peace through self growth and learning from her terrible experiences.
I really like your list and the way how you explain it is perfect, and I almost completely agree, but I tend to stick more of my favorite characters rather than a best list namely because I tend to be a bit on the bias side lol so for me, my 5 favorite characters would be: 1: Ai 2: Revolver 3: Yusaku 4: Flame 5: Akira
Also just commenting about Onizuka's character: I personally really admired him on first season as I really adore characters with such determination and positive motivations, and meanwhile I didn't myself enjoy his antagonistic personality in season 2, I think his development to such despair-driven villain was very well-done and unique. I'm personally happy he got back on his feet and realized his mistakes in season 3, but I wish we could have seen it properly instead of getting flashbacks, as it could have been really emotional and could have helped more to accept his return to belowed and determinated charisma duelist he was.
I'm fine with this list and agree with most of it and even though I think Blood Shepherds a great character and would make my top ten I would have him at spot number 10 since it might've been better if he had at least one more duel most likely against Soulburner so they could finish what they started. But its all good at the end of the day as long as Brave Max aka Shima isn't anywhere near this list.
Man,its hard to make a list like this. There are many characters I wish we seem more of,but there isn't a single one that I flat out disliked. You could say that its one of the many merits of Yugioh Vrains.
My top 10: 1. Revolver(of course obvious) 2. Ai (he is kinda entertaining or the true mc) 3.Akira( i do agree he had growth in this) 4.Lightning (fun to watch but boring deck and he uses jin as lp wow that was amazing) 5.Specter (even though his performance drop from season 3 he is still a goid character overall this is a villain done right for me) 6. Blood Shepherd (when he first appeared i was like amazed with his character and his opening 2 scene is cool aside from his past) 7.Aoi Zaizen (Aoi is enjoyable maybe top 3 on the girls list for me on par with akiza at this point) 8. Playmaker( i was gonna put him on top of aoi but he didn't give impact that much until the final season but yeah well i can relate him but that's it) 9. Bowman (a bit boring but op deck, not memorable villain to me but pretty fun to watch) 10. Ghost Girl (just like Aoi she had fun duels and looking at her arc story is pretty interesting for me but she didn't stand out fir the wins since one of them is a joke facing brave max that's why she is lower i was thinking of windy at first but no he kinda falks short for me)
as if not having almost all of my YGO Twitter friends have Revolver at #1 spot was enough... now I got you too XD but in my case 1. Soulburner (I can strongly relate to both his temper, passionate side and cowardly side from his past) 2. Flame (the way he always tries to share life advice and experience is something I have a bad habit of doing, so he's surprisingly relate-able for me) 3. Revolver (I always loved these calm and cool characters, normally they end up taking the #1 or #2 spot at YGO) 4. Ai (Ai love you!) 5. Zaizen (for reasons you mentioned)
The four most Elite Duelists in Vrains: Playmaker, Soulburner, Revolver and Bowman. (Even Bowman doesn't have many wins but still he has the stuff to be Elite
My top 5 characters (they gave me the tolerance to watch the entire show): 5. Aoi: Having growth mindset is good. Watching her improving her strategies after each loss was entertaining. 4. Playmaker: His conversation with Ai during his third duel against Bohman made me want to know more about him. 3. Lightning: The true definition of a villain. Being a half-ass antagonist like Ai is bad. 2. Bohman: He defeated Soulburner, the guy who made me want to drop this show the most (Thank you so much, Bohman). He is my hero. 1. Revolver: Do I really need to explain?
Akira had so many great moments in the show that it’s so hard to pick a favorite. Akira sacrifices himself trusting PM to save the world while saying “Aoi, I’ll come to you” 💔.
Mad respect for putting Akira Zaizen at No. 3. He was definitely one of my favorite characters in all of VRAINS. I really wish he got to duel more. My other favorites were Spectre and Ai. I feel bad, but I never got into Revolver as much as other people.
Me not even watching Vrains full videos, just clips..... Me before this video:.... I KNOW #1 is Revolver, that man is the real chief of operations Me skipping for the #1: As expected, it is Revolver.. Duh, no questions asked.
Interesting list to say the list. Mine would be: 1) Soulburner 2) Revolver 3) Playmaker 4) AI 5)Go 6)Emma 7)Aoi 8) Akira 9) Bohmen 10) Lightning/Specter
Go was such a great character in Season 1. I always felt his sudden switch to villain was OOC for him. He definetely needed more screentime like 90% of the characters.
I’m not good with top 10s but here’s mine anyway: 1:Revolver 2:Ryoken 3:Ryoken Kogami 4:Varis 5:The number 1 character on your list 6:The number 1 character on this list as well 7:Spectre’s husband 8:Season 1 revolver 9:Leader of the knights of Hanoi 10:The rival of Yu-Gi-Oh Vrains
I’m on the 2nd season currently and Spectre is one of my favorites for sure. It’s something about those loyal characters you just gotta respect & love about them ✊🏽
@ULGROTHA Not sure if I agree. Season three's issue was that it was just too short, not too long. It was quite well done overall, especially for a shorter season, but it tried to rush things too much for Aoi, Shepard, Go, and Ghost Girl. Given more room to breathe, I'm sure they could've have managed things better.
Top 15: Kusanagi?! I thought he would be higher! Oh Well.. everyone has their own opinions. To 14: Ghost Girl.... Wel... makes sense. i would have put her on top 10. but yeah is understandable. it just reminds me on the possibilities we could have had with the character (she being a big sister figure not only to aoi, but to even playmaker, and soulburner; having an interesting easygoing yet professional approach to the knights, like she had to Akira) that sadly were never taken opportunity to expand upon. top 13: i agree. we sadly never got a rematch bewteen GO and revolver 12: i agree on windy. top 11: Why is flame so low?! sure he wasn' that prominent, but i certaintly liked him more than soulburner. he was like "the wise over dramatic" with him bein some of the most noble characters. even if just a litle bit top 10: i agree. writers only got a grip of bowman after the lightning reveal top 9: i.... have to agree. blood was interesting top 8: yeah. spectre deserved more. even if he remained the evil crein he was. top 7: i would put aoi i my top 5 but only at top 5. another character that deserved more. 11:30 if the series had developed haru more (and his bond with bowman) and had aoi being the one to defeat roboppi instead of soulburner, it would have been enough for me. top 6: ..... yeah. yusaku is fine there. funny enough he ended up close to aoi in the tops... top 5: ... i would put ai between my first 3 top 4: uhm..... no. i wuld put him lowerd. backstory aside, i still don't like him much, although i don't hate him. top 3: AGREED. Akira was one of the MVPs. and his duel vs Playmaker is one of the best duels in the series for me.
My favorite is definetly Ai, he always made the show entertaining regardless of all the pacing issues. His character in the last season was probably the most likeable and sad antagonist in yu-gi-oh, you just can't dislike Ai.
Revolver is the best Character in Yu-Gi-Oh Vrains and any other franchise ever, Joey Wheeler got 2nd place after I saw Revolver and his dueling style and his Guilt, his back story is amazing as well
My favorites are Ai and Takeru . Ai showing human feelings throughout the show and his transformation were what made him my top character. For Takeru, althought he had that temper and kind of reckless character, I enjoyed seeing him grow into a more focused and "mature" guy. Oh and 7:41 no comment😅
top 5: 5:Spectre: Absolute sociopath. I love his sadistic side 4: Blood Sheppard. Love the hitman Astethic, and his drones were such a cool deck 3: Flame. I like Flame because he was so passionate and helped soulburner 2: Revolver. Absolutely love his ideals and concepts of free will and his reasoning for revenge against the ignis is justified in my mind. 1: Ai. Ai definetly had the best arc out of all characters in vrains. He was comedic, and had a great arc and best final duel.
My top 5 Characters 1: Revolver - Uses Rokkets, Borrel and Topologics 2: Yusaku Fujiki/Playmaker - Uses my new favourite type Cyberse 3: Soulburner - Great Backstory, Intense Duels and overall a "BURNING" Personality {Pun intended} 4: Aoi Zaizen - Straight up the best girl in Vrains even if she didn't win enough duels and finally 5: Ai - Literally my favourite of the Ignis and overall the best Ignis
You had a very unique list tbh. I absolutely agree with your Blood Sheperd placement. He's a well developed character. For me, I don't think wins are as important to a character as they seem so my list will be different. 10. Ghost Girl 9. Blood Sheperd 8. Bohman 7. Soulburner 6. Akira 5. Lightning 4. AI 3. Playmaker 2. Aoi Zaizen/ Blue Maiden 1. Revolver
DAT AKIRA LOVE, MAN, YES I'm sure a few of these are a little unpopular, but hey to each their own. 10. Emma 9. Bohmen 8. Kusanagi 7. Go 6. Blood Shepherd 5. Aoi 4. Akira 3. Lightning 2. Specter 1. Revolver I liked Ai and Takeru, but not as much as these guys
My personal top 5: 1. Ai 2. Takeru 3. Emma 4. Spectre 5. Flame Rather than based on objective point, it's all my own preferences in characterization and personality. Vrains had truly amazing cast and I can't even list my faves below 5th as I think they would just overlap as I liked anyone in a way or another. It's really hard to rank them as I enjoyed so many of them and even the ones I didn't like as person, I loved to hate and liked them as characters. Ai especially became one of my all-time favorite characters in entire YGO-series, just with Ryouga, Yuuma and maybe a few other Zexal faves of mine before. I loved him since the beginning and 3rd season just confirmed what a great character he is.
Oh man this makes me want to watch vrains, I think i watched the first 13 episodes and it was a mix bag for me I stopped cause I wanted to watch it when it comes to U.S. on tv (never did :( ) but seeing that clip of revolver was awesome so I want to try and watch it again. Which do u recommend dub or sub (I'm always a dub person when I watch yugioh but vrains seems better sub any preference?)
My top four Yugioh VRains characters are as follows: 1) Soulburner - I just freaking LOVED his design and character arc! Plus, I've played his deck in real life (the Salamangreats), and it's a BLAST to play! 2) Ai - I loved his antics during the first two seasons, but that crazy twist in the final season was AMAZING to watch! Still sad about what happens to him in the end, but maybe somehow, we might see him later on somehow? 3) Playmaker - I wasn't a fan of his character for the first few eps, but he slowly grew on me. Wish he had a better backstory, or a bit more for that matter. That's why he's only third instead of first like Soulburner is. 4) Revolver - He was just AMAZING to see, and brilliant in his battles, plus, he's got one of my favorite duels of all time in the final season!

I have a Question about the final season of Vrains. Would it be better if Blue Maiden and Soulburner or Revolver had a Duel with Playmakler or is that only my opinion?
Vrains is my personal 2nd favourite series, second only to GX, and I think that they have fantastic characters. My Top 10 Would be (I only use Dub Names): 10. Bohman 9. Akira Zaizen 8. Specter 7. Ai 6. Yusaku 5. Flame 4. The Shepherd 3. Skye Zaizen 2. Varis/Revolver 1. Soulburner
I think the biggest reason why Yusaku probably doesn't rank highly is because we don't know him as a person nor do we get to explore more of him past the lost incident. Like how does Yusaku adjust to fitting into society once he finally completes his life long mission against Hanoi. We don't know because we have to move right into the next story arc as soon as possible. Despite Yuma and Yuya being very polarizing to fans because of their personalities, we at least knew who they fully were as people by the end of the show. Not to mention they faced far more struggles and more moments of vulnerability that took them a long while to recover from But with Yusaku it just feels like a good chunk of character exploration for him is missing. And the only times we really ever see him vulnerable is the Kusanagi duel (which doesn't last long) and the ending. It's these reasons why I end up ranking Yusaku the lowest on my favorite Yugioh protagonists.
For me, the top 5 1 Revolver 2 Ai 3 Soul Burner 4 Playmaker 5 Specter=Lightning (these ones would be number 1 but I'm being realistic but I like their personality)
@@YugiohEverything it's a real shame, his first duel was one of the best in terms of story and Tindangle are fun to watch being the only flip deck, his representation in the last duel would've been so much better one on one but I guess blue girl maiden whatever she's called needed to bring in the views

Thanks so much! Really happy you enjoyed, and I definitely recommend giving VRAINS a shot! I found it to be a fun ride, and Yugioh is always best watched binged! :D
I actually gave it a try because the video got me interested. Do not regret it
Vrains is not a happy show at all. I have to warn you
Kid: Can we get an Ignis?
Parents: We have Ignis at home
Ignis at home: 4:54
i Luaghed to death when i clicked on the timestamp thanks so much
I'm still a little sad on how Spectre's development went in the last season, he was one of my favorite characters for sure!
That’s tough, for me I’d say:
1. Revolver
2. Ai
3. Soulburner (only because of the third season)
4. Playmaker
5. Akira
Good list! Yeah SB skyrocketed in my rankings too cause of s3
Blood Sheppard is great, anyone who dislikes him confuses me. He has some of the best duels in the show and a good motivation for his ideal.
My personal favorite character in Vrains is definitely Revolver which I know is not a very original opinion at this point when it comes to peoples favorites but I just loved his whole arc throughout the show and just had this gravity to him that always got my attention whenever he was on screen weather dueling or not.
Yeah Revolver was just a treat to watch
You are right Revolver is awesome character from Yugioh Vrains.
1.Ai
2. Lightning
3. Revolver
4. Ghost Girl
5. Roboppi
6. Specter
7. Blue Maiden
8. Zaizen
9. Flame
10. The rest..
Nice list! :)
- Yusaku is first for me.
The reason I put Ai in the second best because his role in season 3
Yusaku
Ai
Lightning
Revolver
Soulburner
Awesome list, Dylan! I would've, of course, ranked the characters differently but your motivations make them all logical choices. I personally wouldn't have put BS on this list, but that only for personal reasons, I would probably have ranked him somewhere close to you without them, he's not a bad character by any means.
I would probably have to think really long and hard as well to be able to make a proper list (and would definitely not be able to stick to only 10 characters, either) but my top 5 is easy to pick:
1. Revolver
2. Yuusaku
3. Takeru
4. Ema
I love how your second reason of why Earth is your favorite is because he's socially awkward XD
My personal list
1st - Revolver
2nd - Spectre. (was 1st all the way until the Revolver vs Soulburner duel)
3rd - Soulburner
4th - Playmaker
5th - Kusanagi
6th - Lightning
7th - Flame
8th - AI
9th - Go Onizuka
10th - Windy
I do agree; Blood Shepherd is a great character in my opinion and I would put him in my top 10 list. His mini story arc from episode 76-80 really grew on me and his character. Wish he had more screen time and been a rival to someone. Plus, his Drone deck is awesome and would love to see it printed.
I'm very happy to hear that! Glad I wasn't the only one who liked him that much
What a great list! My top 6-
1- Revolver
2- Yusaku
3- Soulburner
4- Lightning
5- Ai
6- Kusanagi
Yeah ima Yusaku fan. It’s how I am
Another good thing about Aoi is that when she wasnt part of the main plot for a long time, she wasnt a anime copy of Lorraine MCfly like the manga version of Yuzu
Guillermo sierra Cuéllar who’s Lorraine Mcfly? The announcer in Arc-V during the synchro tournament?
Xander Sheriff it was a reference to Back to the Future left me explain in the manga of arc v Yuzu fell in love for Yuya who was a time traveller But in the end she Met a younger version of Yusho, Yuya's dad
Guillermo sierra Cuéllar ohhh
I really like Revolver but I wish he could have gotten at least one win against Playmaker
He lost to plot in the 4th duel.
Revolver case is like seto kaibas they want but can't defeat their protagonists in their shows seriously the rest rivals did defeated their protagonists at least once (by the way Chazz defeated jaden in the manga) but kaiba and revolver no lol
Oresti Ismaili tbh I think kaiba would beat atem, if there was no plot armour
My top 5 is
1:revolver
2:AI
3:flame
4::soulburner
5:yusaku
With number 5 I was considering spectre but he didn't say anything in s3
I think revolver and Ai are just on a different level
Loved the list! Yeah Spectre plummeted for me too because of S3
I kinda forgot lighting I don't know how he goes in at number 3
Honestly speaking... Vrains just has well developed characters all around. That's why it's so hard to choose the placements
Yea! Maybe that's why I was so compelled to doing a top 15
Exactly what I was thinking 👍
The irony. Vrains has the same problem as arc v. It didnt develop enough. Vrains characters are some of the weakest ones.
Aoi is my favorite charecter and number 3 in my rop 5
1] Ai
2]Revolver
3]Aoi
4]Akira/Kusanagi
5]Yusaku
My thoughs on Aoi:
Well one of the things people seem to forget about VRAINS is that Aoi actually had the most solid charecters development.
The show directoer leave right after ep 18 so they have to changebquite a lot of plan and Soulburner got add in it one of them i think..
I really like your list and the way how you explain it is perfect, and I almost completely agree,
but I tend to stick more of my favorite characters rather than a best list namely because I tend to be a bit on the bias side lol
so for me, my 5 favorite characters would be:
1: Ai
2: Revolver
3: Yusaku
4: Flame
5: Akira
Here's my top 3 favorite Yu-Gi-Oh VRAINS characters which are also one of my power trio from VRAINS:
- Yusaku Fujiki
- Ai
- Roboppy
Watching this for a nostalgia trip!
My top 5 (in no particular order) are Aoi, Homura, Akira, Ryoken, and Ai
I think this kind of list is great for a show with a large cast list! And the list itself was good too, nice on Dylan :)
Absolutely love Windy.
My favorite characters are Soulburner.
Oh, come on, who would hate Blood Sheepherd, he is the Mother loving( literaly, he is the nicest wholesome boy behind that mask) Blood Sheepherd
I agree!!!!
yeah, he's not in my top 5, but he's definitely somewhere in my top 10
I actually didn't know ppl hated him still
I can relate to him and see where he is coming from.
Blood Sheppard sucks
I actually like Blood Shepherd’s character.
Also I think Revolver is a great character too.
Good! I'm happy I'm not alone on that island xD
Man,its hard to make a list like this.
There are many characters I wish we seem more of,but there isn't a single one that I flat out disliked. You could say that its one of the many merits of Yugioh Vrains.
I’ll be honest.... I wasn’t sure that VRAINS had enough significant characters for a Top 15.
top 5 for me probably are:
1) yuusaku
2) ryoken
3) ai
4) takeru
5) spectre
Yesyesyes! Was waiting for this one!
Will comment again after watching
:D Enjoy!
My top 10:
1. Revolver(of course obvious)
2. Ai (he is kinda entertaining or the true mc)
3.Akira( i do agree he had growth in this)
4.Lightning (fun to watch but boring deck and he uses jin as lp wow that was amazing)
5.Specter (even though his performance drop from season 3 he is still a goid character overall this is a villain done right for me)
6. Blood Shepherd (when he first appeared i was like amazed with his character and his opening 2 scene is cool aside from his past)
7.Aoi Zaizen (Aoi is enjoyable maybe top 3 on the girls list for me on par with akiza at this point)
8. Playmaker( i was gonna put him on top of aoi but he didn't give impact that much until the final season but yeah well i can relate him but that's it)
9. Bowman (a bit boring but op deck, not memorable villain to me but pretty fun to watch)
10. Ghost Girl (just like Aoi she had fun duels and looking at her arc story is pretty interesting for me but she didn't stand out fir the wins since one of them is a joke facing brave max that's why she is lower i was thinking of windy at first but no he kinda falks short for me)
This video should've been titled " yugioh vrains the 15 characters"
The fact that in the last 2 Yugioh shows, the best character was both times the Rival, makes me feel weird.
Akaba Reiji?
@@ramzehx6534 yeah
as if not having almost all of my YGO Twitter friends have Revolver at #1 spot was enough... now I got you too XD
but in my case
1. Soulburner (I can strongly relate to both his temper, passionate side and cowardly side from his past)
2. Flame (the way he always tries to share life advice and experience is something I have a bad habit of doing, so he's surprisingly relate-able for me)
3. Revolver (I always loved these calm and cool characters, normally they end up taking the #1 or #2 spot at YGO)
4. Ai (Ai love you!)
5. Zaizen (for reasons you mentioned)
The four most Elite Duelists in Vrains: Playmaker, Soulburner, Revolver and Bowman.
(Even Bowman doesn't have many wins but still he has the stuff to be Elite
I'm loving yusaku
1. Revolver
2. Ai
3. Lightning
4. Akira
5. Aoi
6. Spectre
7. Takeru
8. Yusaku
9. Kusanagi
10. Earth/Flame/Windy/Aqua
Nice list Jared!! Earth is a unique one!
Yugioh Everything Earth is justice for Earth’s death
Yugioh Everything actually I tie him with the rest of the Ignis not named Ai and Lightning
My top 5 characters (they gave me the tolerance to watch the entire show):
My top 15
1.playmaker
2.revolver
3.specter
4.ai
5.lighting
6.blood sheperd
7.soulburner
8.bohman
9.aoi
10.akira
11.ghost girl
12.dr genome
13.robbopy
14.windy
15.flame
Honorable mention-earth aqua and go
I can’t wait for YuGiOh 7
11 months later sevens is one of the worst
If Revolver was not your favorite character, I'd be very surprised.
His not my favorite, my favorite is SB
@@brox1195 Lol same
My top 5:
1) Revolver
2) Lightning
3) Specter
4) Playmaker
5) Kusanagi
Nice list Z-One! Same Top 2 :D
@Chaos of madness I like him.
Akira had so many great moments in the show that it’s so hard to pick a favorite. Akira sacrifices himself trusting PM to save the world while saying “Aoi, I’ll come to you” 💔.
Right?? He was so freaking great to watch man
Mad respect for putting Akira Zaizen at No. 3. He was definitely one of my favorite characters in all of VRAINS. I really wish he got to duel more. My other favorites were Spectre and Ai. I feel bad, but I never got into Revolver as much as other people.
Me not even watching Vrains full videos, just clips.....
Me before this video:.... I KNOW #1 is Revolver, that man is the real chief of operations
Me skipping for the #1: As expected, it is Revolver.. Duh, no questions asked.
im halfway into the series but yep ryoken is truly a blast to watch from his cards to his looks hes literally my fav
Interesting list to say the list. Mine would be:
1) Soulburner
2) Revolver
3) Playmaker
4) AI
5)Go
6)Emma
7)Aoi
8) Akira
9) Bohmen
10) Lightning/Specter
Go was such a great character in Season 1. I always felt his sudden switch to villain was OOC for him. He definetely needed more screentime like 90% of the characters.
Go was replaced by Soulburner as the sidekick character likely because Gouki was so hated in the actual TCG.
Yeah the sudden redemption twist at the end i wasn't a big fan of
I’m not good with top 10s but here’s mine anyway:
1:Revolver
2:Ryoken
3:Ryoken Kogami
4:Varis
5:The number 1 character on your list
6:The number 1 character on this list as well
7:Spectre’s husband
8:Season 1 revolver
9:Leader of the knights of Hanoi
10:The rival of Yu-Gi-Oh Vrains
1-revolver,2-ai,3-lightning,4-Yusaku,5-Akira
I’m on the 2nd season currently and Spectre is one of my favorites for sure. It’s something about those loyal characters you just gotta respect & love about them ✊🏽
I think season 3 really hurts a lot of characters
@ULGROTHA Not sure if I agree. Season three's issue was that it was just too short, not too long. It was quite well done overall, especially for a shorter season, but it tried to rush things too much for Aoi, Shepard, Go, and Ghost Girl. Given more room to breathe, I'm sure they could've have managed things better.
I love Yusaku/Playmaker and Soulburner!
Top 15: Kusanagi?! I thought he would be higher! Oh Well.. everyone has their own opinions.
To 14: Ghost Girl.... Wel... makes sense. i would have put her on top 10. but yeah is understandable. it just reminds me on the possibilities we could have had with the character (she being a big sister figure not only to aoi, but to even playmaker, and soulburner; having an interesting easygoing yet professional approach to the knights, like she had to Akira) that sadly were never taken opportunity to expand upon.
top 13: i agree. we sadly never got a rematch bewteen GO and revolver
12: i agree on windy. top 11: Why is flame so low?! sure he wasn' that prominent, but i certaintly liked him more than soulburner. he was like "the wise over dramatic" with him bein some of the most noble characters. even if just a litle bit
top 10: i agree. writers only got a grip of bowman after the lightning reveal top 9: i.... have to agree. blood was interesting top 8: yeah. spectre deserved more. even if he remained the evil crein he was. top 7: i would put aoi i my top 5 but only at top 5. another character that deserved more. Akira was one of the MVPs. and his duel vs Playmaker is one of the best duels in the series for me.
for me:
1-lightning
2-revolver
3-ai
4-specter
5-aoi
6-playmaker
7-soulburner
8-windy
9-roboppi
10-ghost girl
(11-bohman)
Great list! Same top 2 just flipped xD
Lightning was incredible
Revolver's speechs to the viewers only compares to Kaiba's speech in DSOD to the stadium spectators
The link summon ability by the duelists are fascinating.
Great list haven't decided on which characters I've rank yet but I would say that Pandor deserves an honorable mention tho.😀
My favorite is definetly Ai, he always made the show entertaining regardless of all the pacing issues. His character in the last season was probably the most likeable and sad antagonist in yu-gi-oh, you just can't dislike Ai.
Wait. So Lightning’s duel with revolver actually was a win for him, even though he just converted Jin’s consciousness data into a life point?
Yeah but due to the BS in it and due to the fact that revolver literally had the duel won most people chalk it up as a draw at worst
I see. Thanks flash
Mine is quite odd. But here we go:
1. Yusaku
2. Ai
3. Aoi
4. Kusanagi
5. Akira
Complete respect
I totally agree with your choice for number 1 and number 2 on this lo
Iist.
Here’s my list of favorite character!
1-14: The Beast of the Streets Motherfucking Ryoken!!
15: Poor Ai That Just Needs A Hug
I love Blood Shepard even though he's a scrub. Probably in my top 5
My top 15 VRAINS characters:
15) Baira
14) Akira
13) Blood Shepherd
12) Go
11) Windy
10) Bohman
9) Kusanagi
8) Playmaker
7) Flame
6) Spectre
5) Ghost Girl
4) Soulburner
3) Lightning
2) Ai
1) Revolver
Revolver is the best Character in Yu-Gi-Oh Vrains and any other franchise ever, Joey Wheeler got 2nd place after I saw Revolver and his dueling style and his Guilt, his back story is amazing as well
My favorites are Ai and Takeru . Ai showing human feelings throughout the show and his transformation were what made him my top character. For Takeru, althought he had that temper and kind of reckless character, I enjoyed seeing him grow into a more focused and "mature" guy.
Oh and 7:41 no comment😅
Cal's gonna be in every vid Elena until YGO 7!! You know that!
top 5:
5:Spectre: Absolute sociopath. I love his sadistic side
4: Blood Sheppard. Love the hitman Astethic, and his drones were such a cool deck
3: Flame. I like Flame because he was so passionate and helped soulburner
2: Revolver. Absolutely love his ideals and concepts of free will and his reasoning for revenge against the ignis is justified in my mind.
1: Ai. Ai definetly had the best arc out of all characters in vrains. He was comedic, and had a great arc and best final duel.
My top 5 Characters
1: Revolver - Uses Rokkets, Borrel and Topologics
2: Yusaku Fujiki/Playmaker - Uses my new favourite type Cyberse
3: Soulburner - Great Backstory, Intense Duels and overall a "BURNING" Personality {Pun intended}
4: Aoi Zaizen - Straight up the best girl in Vrains even if she didn't win enough duels
and finally
5: Ai - Literally my favourite of the Ignis and overall the best Ignis
There are only 15 characters in the entire Vrains Anime to begin with. Change my mind.
Mate...that’s just the entire cast in popularity order lol
You had a very unique list tbh. I absolutely agree with your Blood Sheperd placement. He's a well developed character. For me, I don't think wins are as important to a character as they seem so my list will be different.
10. Ghost Girl
9. Blood Sheperd
8. Bohman
7. Soulburner
6. Akira
5. Lightning
4. AI
3. Playmaker
2. Aoi Zaizen/ Blue Maiden
1. Revolver
DAT AKIRA LOVE, MAN, YES
I'm sure a few of these are a little unpopular, but hey to each their own.
10. Emma
9. Bohmen
8. Kusanagi
7. Go
6. Blood Shepherd
5. Aoi
4. Akira
3. Lightning
2. Specter
1. Revolver
I liked Ai and Takeru, but not as much as these guys
@Chaos of madness
Thanks, man. Yeah, Yusaku isn't a bad character, but he didn't carry the show
My personal top 5:
1. Ai
2. Takeru
3. Emma
4. Spectre
5. Flame
Rather than based on objective point, it's all my own preferences in characterization and personality.
5) Kusanagi
4) Spectre
3) Revolver
2) Ai
1) Soulburner
Someone should make a "top 10 strongest characters in yugioh vrains" type of video
My top four Yugioh VRains characters are as follows:
1) Soulburner - I just freaking LOVED his design and character arc!
Don't really have a top 10 because I'm still making choices.
1:Playmaker
2:Ai
3:Lightning
4:Revlover
5:Soulbuner
6:Flame
7:Akria
8:Spectre
9:GO

Like this is no joke revolver is ot just a top tier yugioh character ut a top tier anime character IMO. I didn't see any major flaws in his character. also his voice actor lol. top 10 anime character for me this guy literally carried vrains
U know a shows got a lot of good characters when there’s a TOP 15 favorites list👍
I just wish they did something, anything with Miyu.
I have a Question about the final season of Vrains. Would it be better if Blue Maiden and Soulburner or Revolver had a Duel with Playmakler or is that only my opinion?
Vrains is my personal 2nd favourite series, second only to GX, and I think that they have fantastic characters.
My Top 10 Would be (I only use Dub Names):
10. Bohman
9. Akira Zaizen
8. Specter
7. Ai
6. Yusaku
5. Flame
4. The Shepherd
3. Skye Zaizen
2. Varis/Revolver
For me, the top 5
1 Revolver
2 Ai
3 Soul Burner
4 Playmaker
5 Specter=Lightning (these ones would be number 1 but I'm being realistic but I like their personality)
Specter as 8th.... 😅
Yusaku as 6th?!?!
Ai 5th 😢
Soul Burner in 4th...respectable
Akira 3rd !?!? 🤔
I feel my man Akira would've been in the top 2 if the SOL arc was made
I definitely agree, that arc would have given him more focus
@@YugiohEverything it's a real shame, his first duel was one of the best in terms of story and Tindangle are fun to watch being the only flip deck, his representation in the last duel would've been so much better one on one but I guess blue girl maiden whatever she's called needed to bring in the views
Even tho I personally put him as 2nd for me but you’re right. He needed some more duels tbh.
Yeah that's true i wish the sole arc happened
Crow shows up: Kicks akiza out of the third protagonist lead and becomes the third most important character with a good deck
Soulburnner shows u: kicks aoi of the third protagonist lead and becomes the third most important character with a good deck
yugioh series at work like always, i wonder what the new female lead will be will she be duelist and non duelist character. If i noticed the patern.
Dm: non duelist
gx: duelist
5ds: duelist
zexal: non dueliest
arc v: duelist
vrains: duelist
so i guess yugioh 7 will be non duelist if the pattern continues
Iceaiden fr. despite all that I never really liked his character.
I think that comparison works better wither Go rather than Aoi, at least she actually fought and helped somewhat unlike Go who was really shafted.
