Good build and useful ideas! FYI, Summit Racing sells a porous foam insert material for baffling a fuel tank. Also, wrapping the tank in heat-resistant thermal mat will decrease rate of evaporation and will look tits!

I want something similar for my Bobber, but will have to buy a tank. My welding skills suck. Thanks for detailing the plumbing of the gas line and vent.
