Important note: You do not need Wheel Check as the LUT is provided by RasmusP. However, there is variance between each unit, so please feel free to generate your own LUT based on your own wheel. As the motor wears over time, you may also want to update it periodically, though I personally did not find that to be necessary. I do not recommend installing FFB Clip either, as it tends to cause a lot of issues. If you find you are clipping in a certain car, the FFB multiplier is set too high in the data. You can resolve this by reducing the gain for that specific car through the Force Feedback Control app in game. Also, as of 25/02/2021, CSP ver 0.1.73 has been released fixing most of the bugs present in previous builds, so please use that instead of 0.1.68. Always use the latest version at any given time unless it has a more serious bug than one of the previous versions. In that case, downgrade accordingly until fixed.
Hi mate, nice video! Feels surreal every time someone makes a video with my work in it! I got the link to it from a user asking in my support thread at RD :) A little note for other users: lut generator creates a completely different LUT compared to my LUTs. I went down that route before and the generated LUTs feel awful on any wheel (on a csw 2.5 now). This whole "measuring the rotation with ffb pulses and inverting the results" doesn't really work because ffb is mostly about steady forces against your hand. My LUT is basically just a nicely curved minimum force slider at a fixed position, no magic involved... After the first 20%, the ffb goes completely linear. The csp range compression puts the cherry on the cake! :)
I never comment but I had to make an exception. I never thought this wheel could feel this nice to drive on. I didnt have any hope but this is night and day. THANKS A LOT!
It's not just meant for drifting, but it's usually more difficult to drift if your settings aren't absolutely dialled in, hence why I decided to make it in this format. Glad you like them.
the lut made my g29 a completely different wheel. I thought i was that bad at drifting and couldn't hold a drift after 4 hours of practice. after getting the lut installed the car just holds the drift with ease now. thank you

DTP is just as bad as Tando Buddies. They're all in the same category of bad drift packs that use "bus inertia" values. They are as unrealistic as it gets and I do not recommend them. They're a disgrace to the modding community. Use the mods I recommend in the description. Simulation Squad is good for beginners.

You forgot to mention one important thing. Click the 3 dots at the car and disable 50% stability witch is on by default. There is no stability on any of the servers, so you might find yourself not being able to drift at all online. As i can see you have stability turned on.
A bit late to the party but for future readers: yes, that's normal. It's random ffb noise at 0% ffb. It fills the last bit of deadzone in the center. If you want that to be weaker or not rattling at all: open the lut file and reduce the right value in the very first line that starts with 0.0 | xyz. Xyz is the random noise value. Standard ffb is 0.0 | 0.0.
@@kairi don't like it. There's lag time when the weight shifts to make the camera look smooth so it feels like driving with chase cam. The reaction is not instant. The LUT is one thing, make sure you use the CSP gyro implementation and range compression. Those are the important bits.
If you have Logitech Gaming Software, just leave it alone. I don't recall the settings for the older software but I think they're stated in the guide linked. If not, I think damper and spring is set to 0 and that's about it. If you use Ghub, I'm not sure, but I don't think you should need to. You should be able to find driver/software settings standalone if you look for it.

When I put my gain to 0, it feels normal but no autocentering, then when I put it to 50% gain, it’s hard to turn when I’m in neutral or I am stopped. Idk if this is normal for a wheel because it’s my first one
I'm having a huge problem and maybe the lut will fix it. when I use my g27 wheel, my games will freeze for a second then keep going. it does it every 5-10 seconds making the game unplayable. I heard its because of the software conflicting with the game but I see a ton of other people use their g27s on the game perfectly fine. If anyone knows anything or any fixes please lmk. Thanks
@@EugenernatorVideos unfortunately my friend, It uses a different board that improves almost every characteristic tenfold. I went from g27, g920 to g923 and this wheel feels worlds different. I've seen a few videos of setups without a lut file for the g923. Which im also currently using but was definitely interested in your take on it.
@@TURBOMOOSE the g29 and g923 use the same motor but the latter has an added transducer in it AFAIK, which is what the true force marketing crap is about and only works in a handful of supported games, which doesn't include AC. I've used the same LUT on both G27 and g29 and it works the same way. Generate your own if you want or don't. Tenfold is a gross exaggeration to say the least. Every reviewer worth their salt had made it clear that they're basically the same without true force.

There is an actual difference in performance from the wheel, especially with its FFB. Just because an Eclipse gsx (g920/g29) and Evo 9(g923) both are awd and use a 4g63t, It doesn't mean they're the samething. The Evo is far superior.

Essentially what realforce does is add engine vibrations, kerb vibrations, shift vibrations, etc. Yes, it's more immersive, no one's denying that, but it pales in comparison to a better wheelbase such as the T300 for example, but all of this is entirely irrelevant to this guide. All the LUT does is linearise the output forces of the motor, which is non-linear from the factory. The fundamental FFB behind the wheel doesn't change and therefore doesn't affect what this LUT does. AC doesn't even support it to begin with, so I don't quite understand what your point is. Like I said before, you're free to generate your own LUT - every unit is slightly different even if they're the same model, and it'll change over time. This is simply meant to be a quick and easy, foolproof solution.

Idk why but my car never slides more than 3 metters then gets straight. I deactivated traction control and stability control. Idk :/

If your talking about h pattern, you need to choose a car that has an h pattern gearbox or it makes you use the paddles
