@@assassin7250 you can take the bottom plate off the pedals and if you undo the brake pedal there is a plastic stopped in there that makes it hard to stop u can take that out and leave the spring and it's MUCH better
FOR ANYONE STRUGGLING WITH THE WHEEL CHECK SAYING IX IY, if you have ran a game with your wheel before, and it worked then, launch the game, and get on the track. Then it will work. IDK why you have to run the game, maybe to activate it or something? IDK, but once the game is running, "alt+tab" to get back to the wheel check and boom, values will now work! Hope that helps someone :)
After applying all these steps you mentiond in the video. Any further setups needs to be done in the game ? Like Forza 5 I just bought the G923 with the Gear and got a separate Handbreak.
In forza you'd have to tweak your settings in game to your liking. I too followed other tutorials for forza wheel settings but ended up finding the balance through trial and error.
Just so you know the older videos help out! Just got my 923 and this helped. Also: "Holy dance of calibration" fucking sent me. I spit out my soda. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to wipe my new wheel down.
my g920 works in every other game besides as ive tried everything, my wheel and pedals say there actuating but in game no response at all. when i click esc my wheel goes limp and and only turns back when i cancel the race

Try reducing the FFB gain in CM to about 50-60% and then adjust it in game using numpad + or -. This way you can adjust it on the fly as every car handles differently.
Great video I was following along until I had an issue. My wheel doesn't spin when I select the "step log 2", it also doesn't pick up any movement of the wheel at the top. My whole sim works in Assetto Corsa but when I change settings it doesn't seem to change anything in the steering, the FFB is very strong. G Hub & Windows are working fine except I cant calibrate the wheel in Game Controller?
Thanks mate!😁 I had similar issue with the step log 2, uninstall ghub and use LGS. Restart your PC with the wheel connected and then try running wheelcheck. If all this doesn't work try changing the usb port and running wheelcheck, step log 2 should work. Regarding the high ffb, After this video i ended up lowering the ffb gain to 70-80% and adjusting it in game with ffb clip app. I'm not sure about the no movement at the top, it could be a buffer zone. Check the steering axis settings in content manager and make sure the filter is at 0%. You can even try reducing the rotation to 720° Ghub always finds a way to glitch the settings, thats why i ended up switching to LGS and haven't had an issue since. I hope this helps :)

@@Wings_of_foam Thanks mate its because of the constant research😋 Is it that there are a lot of miss shifts while driving? Or the clutch doesn't engage? The first issue might be because paddle shifts happen in a split second compared to h shifter and the timing might be off. If the clutch isn't engaging it could be due to pedal flickering. Keep the pedals app on while in game from the menu on the right so that you can diagnose it better. Hope this helps :)

You're most welcome :) Yes you can go back to factory settings, you can change your FFB settings to a different option other than the LUT file that was created after wheelcheck. I believe there is a reset to default option for all settings in CM too.
I have an issue, my shifter and clutch are not working in game. I can assign them and they display as working on the set up options, but do not work in game. Anyone got a fix?

I tried usinh GHub and LGS and when I open up wheel check I get no coordinates for the wheel and the test does not work. What should I do, I've tried different usb ports
I faced this exact same issue once. When you switch between Ghub and LGS, make sure you uninstall the previous software properly or else while doing wheelcheck the softwares tend to clash and sometimes don't detect the wheel. After that make sure LGS/Ghub is minimized when you run wheelcheck. Hope this helps :)
Does yourbsteraing strong like real cars when u take turn it will automatically turn back or u have to get it back when is it good in traffic like cutting no slipering ?
It has force feedback so yes it does turn automatically according to the forces on the wheels like real cars. Sometimes the force is enough to quickly turn the wheel and sometimes you have to flick it.. This should give you an example th-cam.com/users/shortsrluecKKEE-E?feature=share
Did it open another window to choose the file? Did you check in the my documents folder? It normally saves there. The name should be the date and time of when you did wheelcheck. If it hasn't saved, try redoing wheelcheck and check manually if the files are there. Also try re downloading LUT generator and try again incase it might have become corrupt.

Also make sure your content manager is not open, restart your pc and run the LUT generator program before you open anything else. Also if you do find out, please let me know what the issue was :)

Try turning off your anti virus for a while and then check. Also try to use Logitech gaming software instead of ghub, make sure you uninstall ghub if using lgs and vice versa. Also try disconnecting all usb devices and connect only the wheel in different ports. Hope this helps :)
You need to check the h pattern option when assigning gears in controls. That could be the reason they're not working in game. Another reason might be the car you're driving.. H pattern only works for cars that have a shifter otherwise you have to use paddle shifters.
It seems to be a glitch that I've come across too. Try closing content manager, disconnect your wheel, restart your pc, plug in your wheel first and run Ghub or Logitech gaming software and minimize it, then open content manager, map your keys in settings and save them. After this try running a practice session and it should work. Hope this helps :)

I had this issue when i was using the Ghub but once in switched to LGS my wheel started working. Also in content manager, go to Settings / Assetto Corsa / Controls / Check if input method has been set to Wheel.

I have a problem where the iRacing Force feedback test detects the wheel but doesn't read anything from the wheel (current position or anything else) therefore it doesn't preform the test. What can I do?
So i did all the steps but lut generator exe doesnt show up when i open the lutgenerator folder ive been carefully following every detail but im not sure still if maybe i did something wrong
Try disabling your anti virus and then extract it from the zip file. It could be that your anti virus might be deleting the .exe thinking its a threat.
Make sure you run lut generator after extracting it to your desktop from the rar file. The log csv files are saved in your documents folder after you run wheelcheck and your wheel stops turning.
@@RavenShift Thank you for this reply, i figured out the problem briefly after commenting and forgot to delete the comment, turned out that the power cable was not fully plugged in and I needed to adjust.
I had this issue too, try doing this -Make sure your wheel is detected in the Logitech g-hub/logitech gaming software. -Turn off all other running apps including content manager and then run wheelcheck -Make sure your wheel is plugged in before you run the wheelcheck app -Restart your pc while your wheel is plugged in and then run wheelcheck For me it was content manager that was causing the issue but do try out all the steps and it should start working😁✌

Open Content Manager, go to settings, assetto corsa, controls.. Then go to buttons and make sure the use H-shifter checkbox is ticked and assign the gears. This will activate the h shifter in game for the cars that have the h pattern shifter.
Are you referring to ffb driver guid on the right? It showed up by default i guess. I didnt change any settings, just ran wheelcheck and it worked. Although i did face an issue with the wheel not moving and i just changed the usb port for the wheel and restarted my pc and it seemed to work. Once i even disconnected all usb devices and only plugged in the wheel for it to work, you could try that. Also make sure you're running wheelcheck and LUT generator after you've extracted from the rar/zip files that they might be in. Try disabling your antivirus too until you run wheelcheck. I hope this helps :)

Thanks raven, it does now connect and is usable in game but I have no ffb. I have only installed assetyo corsa, and content manager alongside it with the G hub. Do I need those other programs you were talking about in order to get FFB?

Check the switch above the wheel if it's set to ps4 and not ps3.. This seems to have solved a few people's problems. Also by weird could you be a bit more specific as in what you feel is wrong?
@@RavenShiftsorry I didn't update you... Problem is fixed. Problem was that my g29 wasn't calibrated properly to be like in game. I changed LUT and all that but it wouldn't calibrate like it should but now it does
You need to register on the race department website. Click on register and then scroll to the bottom of the page where you'll see a join for free button in grey. After you register, you'll be able to download any mod from their website.

Does it work or show any input in content manager or ghub or LGS? If yes then try restarting your pc with the wheel connected and keep Ghub or LGS minimized. if not it could be a faulty potentiometer of the clutch pedal. Try opening and cleaning it but be very careful as the wiring is pretty thin and easy to damage. Make sure your anti virus is disabled. Sometimes the .csv file is saved in a weird location. Search in the documents if you can find it.

I tried usinh GHub and LGS and when I open up wheel check I get no coordinates for the wheel and the test does not work. What should I do, I've tried different usb ports
I faced this exact same issue once. When you switch between Ghub and LGS, make sure you uninstall the previous software properly or else while doing wheelcheck the softwares tend to clash and sometimes don't detect the wheel. After that make sure LGS/Ghub is minimized when you run wheelcheck. Hope this helps :)
Does yourbsteraing strong like real cars when u take turn it will automatically turn back or u have to get it back when is it good in traffic like cutting no slipering ?
It has force feedback so yes it does turn automatically according to the forces on the wheels like real cars. Sometimes the force is enough to quickly turn the wheel and sometimes you have to flick it.. This should give you an example th-cam.com/users/shortsrluecKKEE-E?feature=share
I don't know why but after I click on "Open CSV & Save LUT", it didn't redirect me to the folder to choose the csv. What's wrong?
Did it open another window to choose the file? Did you check in the my documents folder? It normally saves there. The name should be the date and time of when you did wheelcheck. If it hasn't saved, try redoing wheelcheck and check manually if the files are there. Also try re downloading LUT generator and try again incase it might have become corrupt.

@@bradleyliu4156 Apologies for the late reply mate. are you running LUT generator after extracting it from the zip file? if you run it from the zip file it can behave weird sometimes. Also make sure your content manager is not open, restart your pc and run the LUT generator program before you open anything else. Also if you do find out, please let me know what the issue was :)

yo how do i make my g29 have the default force feedback? i like playing like this in race sim games but when i am playing games such as ets 2 i like the default more so how can i change them?

Try turning off your anti virus for a while and then check. Also try to use Logitech gaming software instead of ghub, make sure you uninstall ghub if using lgs and vice versa. Also try disconnecting all usb devices and connect only the wheel in different ports.

You need to check the h pattern option when assigning gears in controls. That could be the reason they're not working in game. Another reason might be the car you're driving.. H pattern only works for cars that have a shifter otherwise you have to use paddle shifters.
Is it possible to set throttle and brake to your wheel buttons ? Found a wheel thrown out with no pedals 😅

It seems to be a glitch that I've come across too.
Try closing content manager, disconnect your wheel, restart your pc, plug in your wheel first and run Ghub or Logitech gaming software and minimize it, then open content manager, map your keys in settings and save them. After this try running a practice session and it should work.

I had this issue when i was using the Ghub but once in switched to LGS my wheel started working. Also in content manager, go to Settings / Assetto Corsa / Controls / Check if input method has been set to Wheel.

I have a problem where the iRacing Force feedback test detects the wheel but doesn't read anything from the wheel (current position or anything else) therefore it doesn't preform the test. What can I do?
Try disabling your anti virus temporarily, this seems to work most of the time.

So i did all the steps but lut generator exe doesnt show up when i open the lutgenerator folder ive been carefully following every detail but im not sure still if maybe i did something wrong
Try disabling your anti virus and then extract it from the zip file. It could be that your anti virus might be deleting the .exe thinking its a threat.

Make sure you run lut generator after extracting it to your desktop from the rar file. The log csv files are saved in your documents folder after you run wheelcheck and your wheel stops turning.
i know this is late but when i select step log 2 for the calibration test nothing happens with my wheel, what is wrong?
Make sure you restart your pc, try disabling your anti virus for a while and try running wheelcheck. Also make sure content manager is not running.
@@RavenShift Thank you for this reply, i figured out the problem briefly after commenting and forgot to delete the comment, turned out that the power cable was not fully plugged in and I needed to adjust.
In Content Manager when I go to the Patch tab it’s just blank for me I don’t have all that stuff.
Have you installed custom shaders patch? I guess that's why you're not able to see anything.

I had this issue too, try doing this
-Make sure your wheel is detected in the Logitech g-hub/logitech gaming software.
-Turn off all other running apps including content manager and then run wheelcheck
-Make sure your wheel is plugged in before you run the wheelcheck app
-Restart your pc while your wheel is plugged in and then run wheelcheck
For me it was content manager that was causing the issue but do try out all the steps and it should start working😁✌

My issue is that the force feedback is working but I don’t have the physics of the car on the steering wheel.
Leave the content manager running while playing the game or can I close it after setting up the settings.
It keeps running in the background, if you close it the game closes.

bro can you help? my g29 shifter is working 100% in all games but in asseto corsa its not working:{ idk what it is but i cant change gear by the shifter
Open Content Manager, go to settings, assetto corsa, controls.. Then go to buttons and make sure the use H-shifter checkbox is ticked and assign the gears. This will activate the h shifter in game for the cars that have the h pattern shifter.
So I have to pay just to download it ?

Hi, i see that you have ffb driver in wheelcheck, i don`t have it, and my wheel don`t move when i choose step log 2. Where can i download it?
Are you referring to ffb driver guid on the right? It showed up by default i guess. I didnt change any settings, just ran wheelcheck and it worked. Although i did face an issue with the wheel not moving and i just changed the usb port for the wheel and restarted my pc and it seemed to work. Once i even disconnected all usb devices and only plugged in the wheel for it to work, you could try that. Also make sure you're running wheelcheck and LUT generator after you've extracted from the rar/zip files that they might be in. Try disabling your antivirus too until you run wheelcheck.

Try using logitech gaming software. Its the older version of ghub. Ghub glitches out sometimes.

It could be the issue as LGS is a pretty old software.
-Try and use Ghub and see if it works.
-Try restarting the pc with the wheel connected.
-Try plugging in the wheel in a different usb port.
-If you have any other usb devices connected, remove them all and then only try connecting the wheel in different ports and see if it works.

Thanks raven, it does now connect and is usable in game but I have no ffb. I have only installed assetyo corsa, and content manager alongside it with the G hub. Do I need those other programs you were talking about in order to get FFB?

It does save them, you juat have to look for them in documents.. Many are having this issue in windows 11. Try searching for a .csv file

Check the switch above the wheel if it's set to ps4 and not ps3.. This seems to have solved a few people's problems. Also by weird could you be a bit more specific as in what you feel is wrong?
@@RavenShiftsorry I didn't update you... Problem is fixed. Problem was that my g29 wasn't calibrated properly to be like in game. I changed LUT and all that but it wouldn't calibrate like it should but now it does

didnt help, it is super shakey bak and forth even when sitting vompletely still 0kph engine blown out still shaking and being loud
Reduce the ffb gain in CM to about 50-60% and then adjust it on the fly using numpad + or - that should reduce the shake and vibrations.
now on my second lut i crashed and it sounds like a freaking printer.

The clutch isnt working in settings it works it shows that im pressing the clutch but ingame its not working

Does it work or show any input in content manager or ghub or LGS? If yes then try restarting your pc with the wheel connected and keep Ghub or LGS minimized. if not it could be a faulty potentiometer of the clutch pedal.
