Thanks again Chef for sharing your meals and beautiful outdoors with us.... God’s blessings to you & your family.... ❤️🙏🇹🇹🇺🇸

    I love farmers markets😍😍I would have bought a few of those artisan breads😃your garden is beautiful and I could just imagine cooking in those surroundings. The food will be phenomenol👍👍 I use the same seasonings like you to make stewed fish but I don't brown sugar..I use a little annatto or tomato paste. Looks heavenly though with the salad👍👍

    Looks delicious! I will definitely be trying this version!
    My mother prepared it almost the same, but without the burnt sugar. It was mostly tomato/tomato paste based, garlic, onion, fine thyme, pinch of brown sugar, fresh black pepper, and lots of fresh basil! I add a few capers to change it up a bit now😊

    Ria, I love your cooking but I have to refute the sugar browning in this dish. Instead, my Tobagonian grandmother used to brown a little flour.

    My trini style stew never comes out tasty as it’s always highly caramelized 🤦‍♀️.

    Why you digging up the fish like that you just mess it up,You know a way to do it is good the pot on both sides and slowly shake it up

    • @ds-fs4qs
      @ds-fs4qs 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hold the pot I meant and shake it slowly

    • @CookingWithRia
      @CookingWithRia  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      d s Don't understand your comment because the fish was still whole when done. It was perfectly fine for me. Great if shaking it up works for you. Would certainly work in a deeper, lighter pot but not ideal since this was the opposite. Do what works for you. Thanks for stopping by.
