I'm 47 and learned more about Peru in the last two hours then in the rest of my life taken together, just wow ! That's why i love this show, it's very interesting, teachful and also great entertainment. Well spent time. Thanks !🖤
Sonny is very respectful everywhere he goes no matter what happens this man always shows so much love to the culture and heritage as well as new aged adjustments that have to be made for safety... I love your show been watching for a long time now and Oro is exactly what his name means .. gold! Love it ❤️
It wouldn’t make good videos if Sonny visited countries and disrespected the citizens of that country . And this is a business, so it wouldn’t make good business sense either, if he was rude to the locals.
@cherrymetha3185 so you're saying if that it wasn't a money-making enterprise, he'd be super rude and disrespectful to the ppl and cultures? Strange way to look at things...
this episode was epic, my favourite yet! Love Oro's lighthearted energy, fantastic chemistry between Sonny and Oro, fascinating cultures, food and preparation methods..and my gosh! THAT market will be traumatic for me to be at. Really respect Sonny and team's commitment in bringing us the stories of people of the world to open our eyes and minds to the wonders out there. Keep up the good work in making riveting documentaries! Living vicariously through you, Sonny. Lots of love and blessings to you and your team.
Sonny does so well with not only talking about the food but also bringing in other important facts, issues, concerns, etc, while also bringing out so much knowledge and interesting aspects of the culture and area. I love watching him. I love Oro also! 💜
Peru is such a beautiful place! Thank you so so much for breaking down the various places and their food cultures. Their food flavors are top tier. Can’t wait to go Back!
Sonny , with the addition of Oro was GOLD ! I hope they are friends after the cameras stopped rolling . It was a very enjoyable and education journey through Peru , that I will definitely watch again ! Oro is gold ! GREAT episode , more please !

As someone from South America / Ecuador - this is sooo nostalgic. Everyone’s hustling with their dishes/food, that you’ll never try the same thing twice. Cuy is definitely more towards the mountains.

This truly is the best episode so far. The variety and uniqueness sounds amazing. I read a lot. This has me wanting to move to Peru. Thank you. Though I could hear every bite the first man took of the beetle larvae. Had me laughing and crying at the same time.
Thank you Sunny, I'm really impressed by the amount of research all your team did! As a Peruvian I love to see that side of Peru as well. I'm obviously pretty ashamed of that time you almost got robbed tho. Thank you for coming, and I hope you come back! (you need to)...
Don't worry about it, there are thieves literally everywhere in the world even in the US and in France. Tourists are easy targets for the local population lol
The world is diverse. I appreciate this channel for bringing us lessons about other cultures and opening our minds to things we might have never thought existed. I'm a Chagga from Tanzania. The Thadeus and Sorry episode is my culture.
Fantastic camera work too, the colour and consistent clarity made watching this a real treat. There’s not many people that can be watched for hours. Really one of my favourite shows this particular one.
Sonny I laughed and smiled so much watching the two of you on this amazing adventure. I hope you and Oro do all of South America together some time, because I know it would be so much fun to watch. He has pretty big balls to keep up with you when it comes to unique food sampling. LOL I have mad respect for you both after this fun culinary trek through the jungle and please be sure to let everyone know if you are doing more episodes with Oro.
Oro was so funny, really enjoyed this one. Loved seeing Peruvian food that I’ve never seen/ heard of before and the ways the different people there live.
Oro makes an outstanding guest co-host!! He and Sonny are hilarious!! I can't help but watch all these episodes again in this compilation vid. Oustanding job, BEFRS Production Team!!
Aw man I’m really sad, I moved to another country literally days before you arrived there. I’m glad that it was a great experience, and gave you some great content to show! Greetings from Brazil!
This was an epic episode ! Many would associate weird foods with Asian cuisine and , as a result , they're looked down upon or viewed as "uncivilized" , but #BEFRS always give exposure to other exotic cuisines world-wide and aims to dispel such prejudices.
Oh, I love this episode with Oro! together they are a team of fun! I have liked them together since the Cuban episode and Oro got to drink for the first time (so he says) they should get together more often!
I've watched this many times.. Sonny and Oro are a match made in heaven. The chemistry is chef's kiss. Its like Batman and Robin. The comedy is contagious.!
