Veritas products have a high polishing angle. It is optimized for twisted wood work. But it takes a lot of strength. On the other hand, the Linelson Planer can plan evenly, but if it encounters a twisted grain of wood, it will tear a little, so I used it alternately. Both are set for final finishing.
@@SamWanamaker1 Are you asking about a product? Most furniture is coated with auro 126 3 to 4 coats. And furniture that needs water resistance, especially table tops, are additionally applied with several thin coats of Baratan water-based varnish.
The furniture we manufacture uses German company auro 126 oil. In the case of frequently exposed upper surfaces, additional finishing is done with Baratan water-based varnish.
It is a North American walnut tree. Walnut has good dimensional stability when given an oil finish. The vertical plates in each compartment for the drawer rails hold the bending. There may not be variations, but I believe that it will be relatively stable and respond to the season for a long time.
It's not very accurate. I buy lumber generously for around 1000 dollars. Because the state of the tree is unknown, I buy it with a relatively margin. Depending on the condition and color of the tree, there are many additional pieces of wood, so I tend to give myself a margin and buy more than I need.

Chisels are used for precise alignment in the final finishing step, and band saws are usually used for loose cuts.

incredible work! how many hours do you have into that build?
