I always enjoy watching you demonstrate your skills. I’m more relaxed and peaceful after seeing you move through the process from raw materials to finished products.
I am so grateful that you feel at ease. It's surprising that the things I work on can have a small impact on other things. Thank you for watching. Greetings from South Korea.
I've looked at this video many times and i really admire his precision, he is very meticulous, very careful with his work, congratulations sir! Israel Perez viewing from Guatemala, C.A.
Stunningly elegant design. I love the balance of the legs and top and wood choice was perfect. Love your videos and creations. One Handed Maker - Australia
Beautiful work as always! Where i live its sad and frustrating cause Most people dont realize or appreciate how much time, efforts,& energy goes into building a piece or a set of furniture and undervalue it because they saw it for "x" amount in a big retail store.
I don't know if my interpretation is correct, but South Korea, where I live, is not much different. Ultimately, you have to prove it and show it. I think I lasted 9 years like that. This was possible because I enjoyed touching wood.
A true masterpiece. I see that you have a passion for what you do. Every detail, aspect, dedication, knowledge is admirable. My respect and thanks. You're not just a professional, you're an artist. Thank you for sharing your wonderful artwork with us. Peace, health, achievements, successes and blessings to you, your family, friends and viewers 🙏 Hugs from Rio de Janeiro - Brazil
Что мне всегда импонировало в работе корейских столяров-мебельщиков, это очень аккуратная, неторопливая, последовательная работа, внимание к деталям и высокий навык. С уважением из России 😊
The cracks in the wood were filled with epoxy. It took a long time to trim all of this, so I attached a thin piece of wood higher than the epoxy protruding part and machined it with an automatic planer. If you watch the next video, you will see the plane being worked on.
There is always a fear of deformation of the tree and we are prepared for it. It was fixed using long-hole hardware. Of course, since it is a thick piece, no one knows how the wood will change over time, but I don't think there will be any major problems. It was produced in the winter, and now South Korea has passed the summer and is entering the beginning of fall. It was raining a lot recently, so I contacted the client to say hello. Thanks for watching! Have a great weekend
Your work inspires me to be a better artist. I’m a young woodworker in the US. Can I ask what your finishing process is? I really love the oil finish and it looks so glossy and brings out the beauty in the wood. How do you do it?
Due to the custom nature of the product, production progresses slowly. Not only do we make this furniture, but we also make other furniture and accessories. What is clear is that we are putting in more time and effort than we thought. I don't know if my interpretation is correct, but are you in a slump right now? I have been making furniture for over 10 years. During that time, I had many worries, slumps, and failures. I think the important thing is an unwavering heart and passion. If you need help, ask anytime. Fighting! Have a nice day!
I too build custom furniture in my spare time. “More time and effort than we thought” is an understatement. When I’m not working on it, I’m thinking about it.
Most ppl dont know or appreciate how much time effort and energy goes into building a piece or a set and undervalue it cause they saw it for x amount in a big retailer.
Your work is inspirational but please show the finished product longer on your videos. The annoying thumbnail pop up’s at the end rob us of the finale. Having said that…great work!

I loved the video sir. May I ask, why did you place the thin shims on the walnut at 2:00? Was it to lift the piece above the glue residue?

There is always a fear of deformation of the tree and we are prepared for it.

Hi, nice work, what is the price for a piece like that?
Usually, a walnut table costs about 220-320 Korean Won, but a custom-made table costs about twice that.
Wow, it’s been a while.
