Gy001 Jesper's creations are big in their own way. Just not in the way you are thinking. Working out the logic for this creation must have been quite a bit of work to figure out, especially with the limitations of Minecraft.

The more efficient (and newer) way of counting entities would be just a "/testfor" command that gets executed by a command block with a "SuccessCount" stat set. It should be less laggy, because then you needn't have Minecraft execute a bazillion "scoreboard players add" commands, and also I find it simpler and more like the way Mojang might had planned entity counting.

    • @Jespertheend2
      @Jespertheend2  10 ปีที่แล้ว +6

oh that's a good idea. I always thought /stats was pretty much useless

    Command rap... COMPLETED!
Guys listen up I've got something to tell ya
This deck over here has all of the cards yeah
All ya gotta do is hit the card one time
And all the slimes teleport down the line
The one at the bottom goes over here
And that is the card that will appear
But sometimes there's a gap in the line
So we just teleport to another slime
To detect when the games ends and you've won
We'll count all the slimes here one by one
Each slime over here adds one more
    To this squid's countEntities score
So when the score is high enough
Fireworks will come from the ground to up above
Because, let's face it, the animation
Is too hard for minecraft replication
    That's it for this video
In the description there's a world download
So thanks for watching, leave a like
and if you really enjoyed it please subscribe

Very well done jesper! I'm a big fan of solitaire and have lots of old memories with the game so it was really cool to see you create it in minecraft. Love your work as always. I wish I had more drive to create something amazing and new but ideas just never come to mind. Nevertheless awesome work maybe it will spark something new for me. One of the reasons I really like what you do, is you think outside of the box whether be your creations and even the way you simply edit a video it's simply great. Again, awesome job you really hit the nail on the head.

Ah, isn't the internet amazing? Capable of collecting ideas and people across unimaginable distances! So much information at one's own fingertips! A language from a thousand miles away can be adopted in your own home, a food learned to cook as easily as one from the local area, entire cultures turned into tiny electrical signals that can be moved to almost any place on Earth. Ah, what beauty this technology has!
Now, we don't exactly have the technology precise enough for something like SAO, but computers keep getting smaller, and our electronics keep getting more and more accurate, so maybe someday, it will be possible to use a computer with brain signals as easily as one does now (or better!) This was already tried with a paralyzed patient. With the paralyzed patient's consent, of course, the portion of the patient's brain controlling the arm was connected to a computer. To move a cursor on screen, the patient simply had to "move" their arm. After some time, when the patient was asked how difficult it was to move the cursor, the patient reported that they no longer had to think about moving their arm, and could move the cursor directly.
Don't get too excited, though, because while this works now, it won't work like in SAO, since everyone's brain is set up slightly differently. This ability to integrate electronics with the brain, though, has near-limitless capabilities.
Dammit. I accidentally wrote an essay.

So this has nothing to do with the video, but I thought I would mention cool ideas for minecraft
1)piston minecarts: Moves on rail and pushes blocks up when activated.
2)Stickypiston minecarts: Moves on rail, push blocks up when activated, and carries them along when activated
3)Script blocks: Contains multiple lines of commands
    4) Delay command: /delay [amount of ticks] When activated in a command block, it will contain the redstone until the ticks are done. So you don't need as much redstone, or you could speed up the delay. When gamerule commandBlockOutput is true, it will announce when it is done waiting.

Amazing work, I like it a lot. I can't imagine anyone playing solitaire in minecraft, but this project deserves praise!
I wonder, is it possible to create chess in Minecraft? With artificial Intelligence. lol

you could do that with armor stands. you put a dirt block on the armor stands head and make them visible one by one. that way you can create the solitaire ending.

Hey Jesper. I recently came on your server! I think your server is amazing and I think it would be awesome if you and Shanewolf38 made a map together. I think that you two out together would make an AMAZING map. I'll see you around on the server! :)
