Correction and my bad before anyone says it lol: Turbo engines have oil squirters in the block NOT non turbos. I stumbled there. We all make mistakes 😎
Also worth mentioning the n/t 4g63 stock bore is a tad tighter then the turbo block bores about 1/2 a mm or so, and many shops actually prefered building n/t 4g63 engines with forged internals for boosted applications, due to not having the oil jets, the idea being less parts to fail.
I daily drove a 92 awd for 3 years, they do make awesome dailys. Never broke down on me once. Can't say that for any of my built 1g's or 2g's yet tho. Daily'd a 2g awd last winter and it was a hoot but still not as fun as a 1g.

@@cassiooctaviani473 awd's only came turbo'd so yes mine was turbo. between drivetrain loss and the extra weight of the awd at 300ish pounds heavier then the n/t fwd there'll probably be a 5mpg difference. but it also depends on how you drive and if you have a manual or auto, autos get 3mpg less right off the bat.
That is really good..33mpgs. I only got 22 mpg out of my 1g tsi. An thats driving normal 85% of the time. But I thought that was great an for the fun I had I loved it.

@@mitsubishikid1187 we’ve definitely built our share of these motors. 6 or 7 bolt we are all about anything 4g63. Eventually I’ll turbo convert my 1G.

I've got 31mpg out of one of my 92 awd's. Think the best I managed on a n/t was 33mpg

I get 25mpg combined on my non turbo 2.0
