Do you have the big compressor cover or stock appearing cover and what psi are you maxing it out at? Jw for myself
Luke Ivanaj No it was the small compressor cover. Was running low 30s for boost. Wish I would have had the chance to dyno it because it’s a very impressive turbo.
Al3x Talon I had it on pump last year but only hit 25psi with bs tune but this year I got the big cover , cams , intake , pretty much everything to try and max it out on e85
Would you recommend these cars for a daily driver , I was recommended to get one cuz there cheaper to get 400-500whp than most other cars, I either wanna get a first or second gen dsm for sure with the 4g63t
Definitely recommend one for a daily. Extremely fun. And despite all the crap you hear about not being reliable, it’s cause most ppl don’t do the proper maintenance. Stick to the maintenance first before ANY modifications, and you’ll have a car that last and will throw an ass kicking down to 85% of stock cars out there will as little as $4-5k in parts.

Indy360 hit nail on the head. People neglect Maintainece and when it breaks, they blame the car. Do it right and you will have a reliable, fun car 👍👍
Gotta remember these cars are over 20 years old. Cars are not made to last forever so proper maintenance has to be done. Also you'll find some of the wiring in the engine bay become brittle from heat cycles and are prone to break off from sensors. I also had to swap the ecm because again the capacitors (electrical) swell My 1990 eclipse is 29 years old and I daily it. Fix the common issues first.
you have any videos of your car? i bought my first talon when i was 16. have had it for over 10 years. its been fully rebuilt. basically everything minus the paint. its a 1993 awd with less then 100k km. full wire tuck and rewire using 12 gauge wire, deleting everything in the harness that was deleted and not needed anymore. car made 719awd and i drive it almost every weekend in the summer. love talking to other ppl who still have these cars. ill take mine to the grave lol
