My gf has one just like yours same everything 93 4×4 4.3 vortex with 190,000 miles . But white and then it has blue cloth interior and same wheels but id like to find the other wheels that has the 4×4 written on them . At moment it's waiting on parts the spider fuel injectors are shot which so so common on these 4.3s with the orange vertex .
Yeah would be a neat idea I know the kid I got it from was paying payments off it so imma assume he bought it from a dealer who bought it at auction which means the dealer probably bought it off the original owner
Damn what a deal man sucks engine is done but that milage and how clean mint condition I would've gotten it too . Sadly I've seen a few at junkyard that was this mint and was even loaded power everything and leather seats and low miles like 100,000 or 150,000 miles or so and people just junk them and once that come in that's it which makes me so mad . I tryed buying one and they wanted $1500 and no title just like it was and I'm going hell no , no way.
Yeah I see it all the time I try to save cars from that life if I can I remember seeing a 1998 s10 blazer 4 door in a pull a part couple years ago had 54k miles was beautiful inside and put looks like they rear ended someone was totally fixable fenders where still straight and they let the insurance junk it so sad
I'm so glad this Gem of a very nice Blazer ended up in your good hands! I'm a GM Nut and love all GM trucks and cars. I have a soft spot for square body S-10s ever since my late father bought a brand new S-10 Tahoe truck when they first came out in 1982. Nice K-5 in the background.
Thanks and yeah I've since sold the k5 life kinda got in the way but hopefully someday I'll get another. The 93 blazers been running awesome ever since I fixed it
I have the same truck minus the back up beeper and mine is white. Just put in a new motor and the body only has 128,000 miles and is just as clean as thus 1.
Watching this breaking my heart. I have my baby a Chevrolet 93 s10 tahoe blazer. Just broke down but hubby wants to sell it for scraps😢 Everything in the hood is original & or replaced with new stock parts. It is a shame
If its in good shape don't scrap it. Atleast post it forsale for cheap someone like me would scoop it up and fix it. This one got posted for parts but I got them to sell it whole
I agree with Seth budget builds comment sell it don't scrap it. If it's nice I would also buy one not running and fix it up. They are getting harder to find.
Heck it's been almost 2 years. And doing good. It's made a pretty good daily driver. I don't drive far to work but I think it's got 10,000 miles on it so far since this video
@SethsBudgetBuilds I can't remember it's been awhile. Is this the one you did the engine in? I've been a subscriber for a while. I subscribed when you were doing the k5 floor
Great video, thats a really nice S10 Blazer-I came across a 94 S10 Blazer LT Black with tan interior, wish I would of had gotten it. But now I have the pickup version-1991 S10 extended cab 4.3 tbi 2wd tahoe pkg fully loaded all power with cruise...love these vehicles, even had a 88 s15 X-cab 4x4 gypsy pkg when I was a kid... it had the 2.8L which was a turd...had to floor it all the time to make it move but great vehicles-reliable and fun to work on...
My parents bought a '93 Blazer S10 back in the day. This is such a flashback. Glad to see it saved and appreciated. As you said it is strangely optioned with being bare bones with some minor options. Very cool.
Have a 92 S10 2 wheel drive it set Tahoe LT package leather seats digital - 4.3 code w Chevrolet Pontiac Canadian engine spark plugs Gap it 45 the only emissions it's a catalytic converter and vapor recovery for the gas tank I recently saw a bulletin from GM about replacing the bearings for you sure this already come and gone. You got a keeper for sure.
That kid didn't know what he had he ran the s*** out of it and messed it up but that's okay they found a good home with you guys I know you're going to take care of it my first vehicle was at 88 S10 short bed single cab blue 2.8 l V6 automatic I loved that truck I lost it in a wreck but I bought a 87 Blazer lost that movie couldn't take it now I have a 2003 white S10 extended cab fleet side 4.3 l automatic it runs like a champ
I live in WA state, most of the cars here look really solid underneath like that cause there is no salt used on our roads. They get wet but thats about it. I had a 94 like this one that was loaded, pretty sure it had every option offered and it started losing coolant so thinking it was a head gasket I pulled the heads only to find that both heads had small cracks in them. Put rebuilt heads on and kept driving it. It was a good rig. Sold it to a friend and he got rid of it when it had 250,000 miles, the trans started slipping
Yeah the vortec heads where known to crack or have sticky valve issues and would miss at higher rpm. I will say though the 4.3 will last if you do your maintenance
She's definitely a beauty 🤟 I bought a $3k, 300k miles 02' Blazer ZR2 in Very Mint Cond. You wouldn't think it with 300k miles but she still gets sticker mileage at 16 in town & 18+ on highway. Can't even feel it running at a red light with the AC on. The old man I bought it from in Houston kept her in the garage & know one has ever sat in the passenger & rear seats. The 4.3 Vortec is strong & fuel Trims on both banks read, 0.0 to 0.1 Runs better than my Wife's newer Ford Escape. lol But that's a gem. I love the old school boxey S-10 Blazers. My 1st Truck I bought was a 1992 S-10 4cyl Manuel Tranny. Loved that truck!
That's alot of miles lol. If it's clean though would be worth replacing with a new engine when it fails I've seen 1 4.3 make it to 400k couple to 300k so maintained correctly they last. Zr2 blazers are cool I wish they had a zr2 square s10 ha
My 93 was specd just like that it was a rescue squad blazer and my buddy baught it off me and is wanting to sell it back to me I love it I can’t let it go lol
@@zsquid2 isn't it crazy how some people could care less about cars. I bet it was parked for something pretty simple to fix to. Like even this 93 yes it knocks but still runs usually means it can be fixed worst case get a brand new block and heads it's worth it for how clean it is
@@SethsBudgetBuilds she's got over 400k km, and a little rust. But my uncle owned since new, and it's a family thing. It took me a year to get it to pass a safety inspection
@@SethsBudgetBuilds I respect anyone who has the patience and passion for keeping these old cars alive. My dailies are an '89 k1500 that I've had for years and now my little blazer. I look forward to watching your vids dude 👍🇨🇦
Amazing that save this Blazer. I own a 94´4x4 Blazer with manual transmission. The mine had the digital dash. Congrats from Venezuela, Caracas

Wow, I'm not big on the S10 blazers but that thing really is mint. Nice and basic just how I like it.
Right the older I get the more I like the basics in vehicles haha I drove my old cars most of the time and my zr2 just sits 😅
Granny’s garage queen
It was a fleet vehicle and has military numbers on the fenders if the light hits it right which explains the low miles and condition
I have the same truck minus the back up beeper and mine is white. Just put in a new motor and the body only has 128,000 miles and is just as clean as thus 1.
Heck yeah. I actually since removed the beeper. I wanted brighter reverse lights and that's actually where the beater was.

I have the exact same one same color and everything I’m restoring it now and i absolutely love it

Yeah I've never seen one optioned out like this one but I kinda dig it cause it's different. It was a fleet vehicle is why government use.
West coast weather is very kind to cars.

Yes but you keep saying or uh gone. That’s not how you pronounce Oregon. There is no “gone”
