Gamedec, Timberborn, Going Medieval, 3 amazing indies that released very recently on Steam. Yes there are no doubt many games that may suck but the good ones stand out because of the community's interaction and robust rating/recommendation system. I remember when Valheim came out I ended up putting over 200 hours on that game playing with friends.
A part of the appeal for me is having access to the indies market which is where a lot of the creativity is these days, the fact that there are also subpar games that release doesn't bother me because I don't have to play them. I'd rather have a platform where the community can rate and curate the games than Microsoft or Sony do it for me, same goes for hardware.

Wtf? My PC has ALWAYS been connected to my TV. At first, I used my Dualshock 4 and it's motion controls to use my mouse. Now I got an app on my phone that connects to my PC to emulate a mouse and pull up a keyboard from my couch. I think that's how everyone should live.
I would agree with you that a 600 dollar PC would give you decent 1080p 60+ fps gaming experience BUT... considering the current market only the GPU will cost you this much SADLY.

@@slayarch2217I thought this exact same thing. But two years ago it was true. My 4070 is almost half of what they cost just a few months ago. The market has been rapidly improving recently.

I build gaming PCs and PCs in general. I own multiple gaming consoles. Even a Switch. I'm a gamer and enthusiast. The corporations dont pay me a dime so fuck em all. I just enjoy video games.

Wait. Game for Windows live was to kill PC gaming... That is so much the opposite of what it was trying to do. That was Microsoft trying to clamp down on the PC being an open platform and get a bigger cut and incorporate Xbox live. Everything Microsoft was doing at that time was about incorporating the Live crap. It was their first attempt at the Windows Unified Platform and it failed miserably. How can one confuse trying to control a market with trying to destroy a market?
That sounds like killing PC gaming and turning it into console style format to me.
I'm cool with the smaller video length, to the point info with as little filler as possible is a better approach
The ironic thing about the whole Bluetooth controller thing, even if that was true, you can get Bluetooth dongle for like five bucks that plug into a USB port and you can still use the controllers you already have

I'm disappointed that the guy who coined the PCMR meme ironically is also being a massive peasant right now.
Also, most games on Game Pass do not support Play Anywhere as the video suggests. Often times they are separate even if the game is on both PC and console game pass. It's kind of annoying, but I love it when they actually offer it.

@@Vfl666 I think Zero Punctuation is pretty funny. Seeing him unscripted makes me wonder how much time he puts into scripting those 6 minute videos though.

Not exactly. You can watch Hulu, TH-cam, and Funimation. And I'm still baked that Netflix hasn't come out considering they have an app for any other platform. But yes, it is almost probably a gaming only console.
